Chapter 124 - CALL ME "HONEY"

"Lucas, are you done?" asked Ellena over the line after a few seconds she had managed to connect the phone to her husband.

"Honey, I still have some work to do." Lucas replied.

"Oh come on, Lucas ... you promised to take me to meet Filia." Ellena whined with a sullen expression. "Besides, it's break time." She added later.

"Yes, but I'm still very busy."

"I don't want to know! You promised me. I won't hang up until you go to pick me up or I'll go there myself!" threatened Ellena which was sure to frustrate Lucas.

"Honey, how about this afternoon?" Lucas tried to find another solution, hoping that his work wouldn't be neglected because of things he didn't think were too important.

"No! I don't want Filia to go back to the village first." Ellena refused, still firmly wanting to leave right now. She didn't even care how busy Lucas was now.

"But I have a meeting in half an hour, Honey." Lucas informed her, hoping that this time Ellena would understand how busy he was at the office.

Ellena let out a short breath, before responding. "I don't care! I'll still go right now. Do you want to take me or give me permission to go alone?"

"Oh no! I won't let you go there alone and don't try to run away from me!" Lucas insisted, it seemed he was still worried about his wife if he went alone to Filia's house.

"Then take me right now, Honey," said Ellena, not stopping whining.

"What? I didn't hear!" Lucas asked enthusiastically. "Say it one more time, please!" He asked.

"Take me right now." Ellena whispered, repeating her words.

"That's not it. Your last words, please repeat it." Lucas' request confused Ellena. Which words did the man mean? Wasn't that the last sentence she spoke?

"Which one, Lucas?" Ellena looked surprised. She walked from the desk to the sofa and landed on it.

"What was that you called me?

Ellena rolled her eyes in exasperation. She didn't think that Lucas meant the trivial words that came out of her mouth.

"Oh my God ... that?" asked Ellena to confirm again.

"Yes, please repeat, I still haven't heard clearly." Lucas asked, obviously wanting to hear Ellena repeat the words, even though he had clearly heard everything his wife said to him.

Ellena was silent for a while, it was really hard to repeat that one word out of her mouth. She didn't even realize she was saying that. I don't know why she suddenly called Lucas that. Things she had never done after marriage.

"Honey, come on ... or I will not take you," threatened Lucas who seemed to want his wife to call like before.

"Honey." Ellena whispered.

"Yes, Honey?" Lucas answered enthusiastically and lightning fast.

Hearing that, Ellena immediately blushed and smiled. She seemed very happy to hear Lucas' answer. Ah, lucky she was in her private room. If only she was in a crowd, maybe she would struggle to bear the shame because her face was like a boiled crab.

"Take me to Filia's house." Ellena said again, still in a low voice and a little shy.

"Okay. I'm leaving now!" Lucas said firmly that he no longer refused his wife's request. I don't know what happened to the meeting in his office.

Lucas seemed very happy to hear the call from Ellena. Even just because of that one word, he was willing to leave his job. It turned out to be true, love has a very extraordinary magical power. Only one word of love that came out of his wife's mouth, immediately managed to melt his heart and soul.

Maybe for some people, it is a very trivial thing. However, not for him who rarely hears such a call from his wife. Oh no! Not infrequently, but never at all. For the first time he got a call "Honey" from his wife and it was enough to make him happy.

"But what about your meeting?" Ellena again confirmed, as well as reminded. She didn't expect that Lucas would immediately grant her wish just because of that one magic call.

"I will cancel all my activities today, for the sake of my beloved wife." Lucas replied.

"Thank you, Lucas," said Ellena with slightly teary eyes.

"Call me like before!" Lucas asked.

"Okay, Honey. I'm sorry." Ellena replied without any hesitation in calling Lucas that.

"Call me like that every day!" Lucas asked again.

"Okay, as your wish, I will do it," replied Ellena with a smile.

Luckily they were talking through the air. I don't know what her expression would be like if she talked to Lucas directly. Maybe she will look stiff and unable to speak because she is nervous and awkward.

"Thank you, Honey. I'm leaving now, you wait in your private room!" Lucas messaged before ending their conversation.

"Why does it have to be in a private room?" Ellena seemed to be frowning in confusion.

"Just do whatever I ask! Bye, Honey." Lucas insisted, then ended the call. This of course made Ellena look confused.

"What's with him? Why is he so weird?" Ellena muttered as she stared at the phone still in her hand, after the call with Lucas ended.

She then put the phone on the table, then leaned her back against the back of the sofa. Waiting for Lucas to arrive who might take about 15 minutes to get to the cake shop. Ah, looks like he'll have to be a little patient, hope the road doesn't get jammed.

***

After 15 minutes, Lucas' car seemed to stop in front of the shop. Without waiting long the man got out of the car, walked into the shop. Several shop assistants who noticed his arrival, immediately bowed their bodies slightly, as a sign of respect for the master.

"Good afternoon, Sir," said one of the shop assistants Lucas first passed. Even the other shop assistants did the same as Lucas walked past them.

Lucas continued to walk straight with his eyes focused ahead towards Ellena's room, without saying anything to the shop assistants even though it was just returning their greetings.

As soon as he arrived in front of his wife's room, he immediately turned the handle of the door and opened the door in one push. However, just as the door opened, he found his wife about to leave the room.

"Lucas? Have you come?" asked Elena a little stunned. She was forced to stop her steps because the road access was blocked by her husband.

"Where are you going? Didn't I ask you to wait in the room?" Lucas asked as he took a step forward, causing Ellena to step back before making his way out of the room.

He closed the door in one push, after he had made his way into his wife's private room.

"I-I'm just going to check on visitors." Ellena replied as she continued to step back as Lucas continued to walk towards her.

However, Lucas swiftly grabbed both the bases of his arms and turned Ellena so that his back was to the door. At that moment he pushed his wife's body until it stopped at the door. His hands now turned to hold the black door, trying to contain his wife.

"Lucas, what do you want?" Ellena seemed to be shaking with fear from her husband's treatment. Not to mention that sensual gaze. Ah, it really made her even more nervous and scared. What is Lucas going to do with her?

"I told you, call me like that before. Don't call me that. I like the way you called me earlier, Honey." Lucas grumbled, still trying to contain his wife. Even this time he seemed to bring his face closer to Ellena's, closing the distance between them.

"B-but what do you want?" Ellena asked nervously, turning her face to the left, trying to avoid Lucas' actions.

"Honey, why are you scared like that? I'm your husband, nobody else." Lucas frowned, putting on a disappointed expression. He moved his face away from Ellena's. His gaze grew even more intense, before he finally leaned his face forward again.

"But you're scary, Lucas!" growled Ellena could not stand the treatment of her husband who tried to approach her again.

Lucas had to undo the intention to give his wife a kiss on the lips, because he heard that statement, plus his wife's gaze that looked cynical was fixed on him.

"What? A handsome face like this you say scary? Is that not wrong, Honey?" Lucas stared in surprise as he pointed at his own face. "Looks like you need to get your eyes checked soon, Honey." He added a little annoyed.

"But you came with—"

Before Ellena had finished responding, Lucas had already covered her mouth with a soft kiss, leaving her speechless. Especially when Lucas deepened the kiss. She seemed to widen her eyes in surprise at her husband's sudden action.

It seemed that Lucas had been impatient to do that for a long time. This was evident from how he kissed Ellena's lips so greedily that his wife almost ran out of breath because of him.

Feeling no longer strong because she had to hold her breath for a long time, Ellena pushed Lucas so hard that he was knocked a few steps away from her.

"Why, Dear?" Lucas asked, shrugging his shoulders and holding his hands up. "I'm not done yet." He added very innocently.

"Do you want me to die?" Ellena growled and immediately attacked Lucas with that stinging question.

"What do you mean?" Lucas stepped closer to Elena.

"You know what? I'm almost out of breath because of you!" Elena snapped, rolling her eyes.

"Oh, I'm sorry, honey ... now I promise to do it more slowly," Lucas said casually without caring about his wife's slightly ragged breath.

"No, Lucas!" refused Ellena unmitigated.

"Come on, Honey . . . just one more time. Don't you know how much I miss you all day?" Lucas tried to persuade his wife to be willing to do it again with him.

"No! I won't, Lucas!"
