Volume 3 Chapter 55: Is It Strange?

"..." "..." Gabriel and Carolyn stared at the ceiling.

Keith, you don't say something like that in this position. Look at the situation right now. Keith beat up his workers. And the boss showed up, and Keith asked to meet with him.

That did not work.

Look at Dalen's expression. His face was contorted!

"How about you get off my workers before we talk," Dalen pointed at the ground at how his guys were stuck under Keith's feet.

"Oh, sure," Keith quickly moved his legs off the worker. But when he did, Dalen made a deep sigh, "Can someone explain to me what's going on?" He was out of the loop of what happened here. The only thing he heard was that someone was beating up his workers.

"Boss! This human was messing with us! He tried to cause a problem in our store!"

"..." Keith frowned when he heard that. Carolyn scoffed, "Why would we come here and cause trouble?!"

"You guys used Orin's name!" The dwarf stated.

"Orin?" Dalen frowned when he heard that. Keith sighed and stated, "I have a letter from Orin saying to come here if I need help." He handed the letter to Dalen,

"Wait a minute, are you Keith Freed?" Dalen questioned.

"Yes, I am," Keith nodded. There was a moment of silence before Dalen laughed, "Haha!"

That caused everyone to be surprised. Did something happened. Dalen clutched Keith's shoulders, "Please come to my office,"

"Are you not going to look at the letter?"

"There's no need for that. I heard stories about you from Orin for a long time,"

"Huh? Orin talked about me?"

"Of course! Orin is my older brother. He had been messaging me about your achievements and such." Dalen heard it all from Orin.

""That kid is a genius!" This is what my brother kept saying about you," Dalen continued to laugh, "And his words are true. You took out my men with ease,"

"It was only a scuffle," Keith wry smiled.

"I see," Dalen's expression softened, "The other rumor was true as well. You're kind-hearted."

"So, what do you need from this dwarf?"

"I was wondering if I can get a hammer and some logs if possible," Keith answered.

"Hmm? Why do you need all of those?"

"Oh, that's because I need to repair some things on my island," Keith answered.

"Huh?!" Gabriel and Carolyn reacted this time.

"Keith, you joined an island already?" They were surprised Keith would join an island so soon.

"Why do you need to do the repairs yourself?" Dalen frowned, "You can ask your manager to repair it," That was usually the case. The managers would come to him to ask for his workers to repair the island.

Keith shook his head, "That's because I don't have a manager. I own the island."

"What?!" Carolyn and Gabriel stared at Keith in shock when they heard that! Dalen laughed, "Orin did say you were a crazy kid. But this is something." To have a floating island as a freshman.

That was something.

"Keith, do you understand what having a floating island means?" Gabriel questioned him.

"That means I have my own place to plant and cook," Keith answered. He had gotten the island for that reason. Gabriel grabbed his head while Carolyn shouted,

"When did you even get a floating island?!"

"You were there when I made the deal with Grandpa Cadmus, remember?" How could you forget? She was there when he created his stall and was called to the principal's office.

That was quite the problem.

"Don't remember," Carolyn shook her head.

"..." Keith gave her a weird look before sighing, "Anyways, the floating island I got is pretty run down. I need some tools and materials to fix it. Also, I will need farming tools as well."

Keith wanted to make the garden as fast as possible.

"..." There were so many words wrong with what Keith said. He had never heard about a noble doing gardening or even repairing things.

Dalen nodded, "Sure, I will supply you with the wood. And you can take some of the tools on the rack."

"Thank you. How much-"

"Don't worry about the cost. Treat it as an apology for what my workers caused," Dalen smiled.

"Then thank you," Keith bowed his head.

Dalen turned to one of his workers, "Show him to where the wood is at,"

"Understood, Boss!" The dwarf nodded as he led the way for Keith and the others to grab some stuff.

"Boss, why are you giving him free material like that?" The dwarves couldn't believe their boss would hand materials off like that!

Dalen stared at his workers, "You guys are lucky your heads were not chopped off,"
