Volume 3 Chapter 64: Is This Alright?

Cadmus could care less about the dark expressions the two had. What he concentrated on was the freaking coffin outside! It was smacked center in the garden!

Sohma and Aidiun turned their heads as well. And when they saw who it was, they spat out their food! Why is Diana out in the open?!

That coffin was eye-catching.

"Oh, yeah. I brought the coffin out of the basement," Keith casually stated as he continued to eat his food. It was so casual that there was nothing wrong with his actions. The three looked at him strangely.

"Why did you bring her out?"

"I thought it would be better if she had some sunlight. Also, can you open a hole in the coffin or something? I think fresh air would be nice," Keith questioned. That coffin was shut tight.

"Wouldn't the power be seeping out?" Cadmus questioned. Wouldn't he be attacked by vines?

"Who knows. That's why I have you here to help me," Keith chuckled. He wouldn't dare make holes in the coffin. Not unless he wanted to die. That was why Cadmus coming here was perfect.

"Alright, I'll take the top of the casket off." It should be fine? Cadmus took off the top of the casket.

Sohma and Aidiun readied themselves, preparing for a fight. But there was nothing of the sort.

"...Huh?"

"There's nothing wrong," Keith looked around. There were no vines appearing from the ground.

"Phew! That's good," Keith wiped the sweat off his head. He thought there would be a fight. Turned out he was wrong.

"..." The other two sighed in relief.

"Let's keep eating." Like that, the group returned to eating.

...

"..." Cadmus and the two left the island after they finished their dinner. But they had strange expressions.

Aidiun was the first to speak, "Okay, I'm going to be the one to say it. Is it really alright for us to leave Diana out like that?!"

"I guess?" Cadmus shrugged.

"Act serious, Cadmus," Sohma glared at him. This wasn't a joke. Diana's powers were not something to scoff at. Even if Keith is strong, that didn't mean he could handle her power running amok.

"But I'm surprised her powers didn't react," Sohma muttered. He was prepared for an attack. Diana's power had caused the coffin to crack many times. Those vines would spew out, causing trouble.

"Maybe because it's Keith,"

"That's not a good reason." This excuse could be used on some things.

But not this.

"But how is Diana?" Aidiun questioned. When that was said, Cadmus and Sohma's expression turned dark.

...

This is unfair! Diana was a little peeved about everything that was happening! She was happy that the lid was taken off, and she could smell the fresh air.

But there was something she hated!

That was because of the food Keith cooked! Despite being unable to move, her senses were still 100!

The food Keith cooked smelled so delicious! The aroma from the kitchen would head toward her coffin! That little spirit is so lucky to eat the food!

And Cadmus is a glutton! She could hear how Cadmus and Sohma were eating the food like no tomorrow. She was so jealous of them!

I want to eat it!

Before I perish, I want to try his food! That was the last wish she wanted. She knew her time was short.

Keith had brought her out to the light. But Diana knew this light was only for a moment.

Keith moved his head back and forth. He was in class, listening to a professor's lecture. He turned to the side to see Carolyn dozing off. He nudged her,

"Wake up,"

"It's too boring," Carolyn groaned.

"..." I know. But you have to listen. This child would ask him for notes all the time. As Keith tried his best to keep Carolyn awake,

Keith! We have a problem!

What's the matter?! Keith was surprised Fira would scream out like that.

Something's going on with Diana!

"What?!" Keith slammed his hand onto the table. That caused the other students to turn to him.

Carolyn blinked a few times, "What's the matter, Keith?!"

"What is the problem?" The professor stared at him. But Keith could care less as he left the classroom. He quickly dashed to the teleportation gate.

"Keith!" Fira quickly flew to his side,

"What's happening to Diana?" Keith questioned.

"Weird cracks are on her body!" Keith looked at Diana's body and noticed small cracks were forming around it!

"!" Keith's expression paled when he saw that. What should I do? This was way above his pay grade. He didn't know what to do to solve this.

If Cadmus left her there for such a long time, how was he supposed to solve it?

As Keith was lost in thought about how to fix Diana's situation, a voice came into his head. I know of a way to help her. Keith quickly turned his head.

It was none other than Aria who said this!

"Really?!"

"Ho!" Aria flapped her wings.

I guess this is it. Diana understood her situation more than anyone. As she waited for her life to be extinguished,

Eh? A warm light had enveloped her body. It was something Diana had never felt, but it was comfy and warm.
