Volume 3.5 Chapter 29: I Don’t Think I Can Live Without Keith’s Food

Keith woke up and raised his hand into the air without a thought. He looked down to see Fira sleeping. Keith smiled as he slowly left his bed, trying his best not to wake the spirit. He headed to the garden, 

"Good morning, Diana." And the first person he spotted was Diana. 

Diana smiled, "Good morning, Keith. Are you going to practice?"

"Mmhmm," Keith started to swing his sword. He needed to get his practice in. While he did this, 

"You're up as always," Gabriel came out of the mansion. Keith smiled, "You know me. I'm a light sleeper," 

"How about we have a light spar," Gabriel suggested. 

"Sure," Keith knew he was going to ask this. Gabriel had his sword around his waist. The two raised their swords into the air, ready to spar with one another.

While they did, Diana watched the two. The two are gifted. She could tell Keith and Gabriel were talented. While the two fought,

"Good morning, everyone!" Arlo woke up as he came out. Keith smiled, 

"Good morning, Arlo. How was your room?" 

"I slept great," Arlo stated.

Keith chuckled, "You don't have to lie about it. It's difficult to sleep in a sleeping bag." The rooms didn't have proper beds. There were the old ones from before. But it was covered in mold. 

Keith made a business decision and tossed them out the door. 

They had to sleep in sleeping bags. 

"We'll get you guys your bed in a day or two," Keith declared. Dalen should have everything in his workshop. 

He suggested, "Do you want to spar with us?"

"Is that fine?" Arlo was a little hesitant. 

Keith grinned, "It's fine. We're all here to get better. We should do it together," 

"Keith's right," Gabriel nodded.

"Thank you very much!" Arlo bowed his head. 

Keith laughed, "You don't have to be so stiff around us. We're all equal here."

"Um," Arlo nodded his head. While he did this, Keith turned to Gabriel, 

"Gabriel, can you spar with Arlo?" Keith handed his wooden sword to Arlo. 

"Hmm? Where are you going?"

"I'm going to make breakfast for all of us," Keith laughed. If he continued to practice, they wouldn't have breakfast.

"I see," Gabriel laughed as well. Keith started to prepare. It was a light breakfast with a loaf of bread, eggs, and pork belly. 

Keith returned to the training grounds to see Arlo and Gabriel hard at work. Well, it was Arlo. He was on the attack. Gabriel guided him throughout the fight. 

"Guys! Breakfast is done!" Keith called. The two stopped fighting. Like that, everyone headed to the table.

"So delicious!"

"This bread is really fluffy and delicious!" Arlo marveled at the loaf of bread. Gabriel laughed, 

"Arlo, have you heard about the White Forest Bakery?"

"Mmhmm! It's one of the most popular stores in the city right now,"

"Well, this guy here is the creator, so of course, the bread would be delicious,"

Arlo blinked, "Our leader is so amazing!"

"I'm not that amazing," Keith chuckled when he heard that. But Diana shook, "Is there anyone else who could cook like this?"

"..." Keith scratched his head. But he stated, "Also, you guys should take this," Keith then brought out two big boxes.

"Hmm?"

"What's that?"

"This is your lunch," Keith noted. He said before he was going to be making them lunch. And he was a man of his word.

"..." Gabriel and Arlo didn't know what to say to that, 

"Thank you so much!"

"Keith, can you keep it with you?"

"Hmm?"

"We don't have a storage equipment like you,"

"No problem." Carrying it around would make it look weird. He was the only one here with storage equipment.  

"Come to me at lunch to get it," Keith smiled. 

"Gotcha!" "Understood!"

"You three should get changed," Diana suggested. 

"Mmhmm!" Like that, the three changed into their uniform and headed off. They went to Arlo's classroom first before they headed to their class.  

"Hmm? The two of you arrived together?" Carolyn noticed it.

"Mmhmm," "Is it strange?"

Keith questioned. Carolyn nodded, "That's because Gabriel usually comes later than us,"

"We're living on the same island. So he won't be late anymore," Keith casually said.

"Huh?" Carolyn blinked her eyes before stating, 

"Oh, so the person who joined your island is Gabriel?"

"Mmhmm," Keith's smile beamed tenfold. He added, "I added another student as well! He's a little shy, but he's a good guy!"

"That's great!" Carolyn smiled. She was happy for her childhood friend. She turned to Gabriel, "Is Keith treating you well, Gabriel?"

"Mmhmm. But there is one problem." Gabriel coughed. Keith blinked, "What's the matter?" If there was a problem, he would fix it.

"I don't think I can live without Keith's cooking after all of this,"
