Volume 4: Chapter 75: Y-you’re A Great Spirit!

Her mana is here! The woman continued to search around. She was now floating above the city, searching for any signs of Diana's mana. She had sensed it all the way to here.

But it was slowly becoming faint.

Where could it be? A worried look formed on the woman's face as she continued to look around. Once that mana trail disappeared, her lead would be gone. But that all stopped when her eyes focused on one person.

He has Diana's mana on him! Her eyes slowly narrowed as she stared darkly at Keith.

...

How could he be so close to the spirits? As Alfia returned to her island, she was lost in thought. Faelyn quickly walked up to her.

"Princess, how could you leave like that?!"

"I need some space alone." Alfia smiled.

"Please tell me next time where you go?" Faelyn sighed.

"Alright." Alfia headed to her room. When she did, she stared at her spirit. The spirit was crying!

"What's the matter?"

"Kwak!" The spirit screeched. It was chirping a lot.

"I don't have any of that." What the spirit wanted was more bread. After eating the bread from Keith, it seemed the little spirit was hooked. That caused Alfia to frown.

How delicious was his food? As she thought, there was no need to answer that question. Thinking about the taste of the crepe, she understood. Alfia sat down at the table,

"Why were you so calm with him?" Alfia had never seen her spirit so close to another person. And it was Keith as well.

"Kwak."

"What do you mean he's special?"

"Kwak."

"What?!" Alfia slammed her hand on the table. The words her spirit said shook her. He's contracted with a higher spirit.

Her spirit was mid-grade.

But the spirit said that Keith was contracted to a spirit of a higher grade than it?! How was this possible?!

...

What is going on? Keith frowned. Throughout the class, he felt something off. And that abnormality came from one person. Alfia had been staring at his back throughout the entire day!

"Did you do something to Alfia?" Even Carolyn noticed the oddity.

"I only gave her some food. That was it!" Keith's interaction with Alfia was the bare minimum. Well, except for the food thing.

I didn't give her any bad food. That was something Keith knew for sure. He made that to perfection. So why was this woman staring at him?!

...

"Alright, what did you do to the girl?" Jack questioned Keith. It was the end of the day, and Alfia continued to stare at them!

"Why do you guys assume I'm the one who did it?"

"Because it's you." Everyone nodded. There was no backtalk.

"...I'll meet with you guys later." Keith didn't wait as he dashed away. When he did, Alfia didn't hesitate to chase.

Where did he go?

"You know. If you're tailing me, you should be better at it." Alfia quickly turned around to see Keith. The latter had a disappointed look. He had jumped onto a roof, waiting for Alfia to come in his direction.

"Ah,"

"What do you want to talk about?" Keith understood the reason why she would do something like that was to talk with him.

"Um."

"Pii!" Before Alfia could say something, her spirit summoned itself.

"Ahh!" Alfia was surprised. But the latter had already flown to Keith.

Keith smiled, "Aww. What's the matter, little fella?"

"Pii!"

"Do you want more bread?"

"Pii! Pii!" The spirit nodded.

"Here," Keith handed the crumbs to the bird again. The spirit didn't even wait as it started to munch on the bread. He turned to Alfia,

"Did you come for bread?"

"No," Alfia shook her head, "There's something I have to ask you."

"Hmm?" "What spirit do you have?"

"Oh, I'm contracted to two."

"...Can I see them?" Alfia asked with a tense expression.

"Is that why you've been stalking me?"

"..."

"You could have asked. Sheesh! I thought the elves were going to gut me alive." Keith sighed in relief. Besides Alfia following him, the elves had a dark expression. They thought Keith had done something to their princess. They were going to fight him!

"I'll tell them to stop."

"Thank you. Now come with me." Like that, Keith had brought Alfia to his island.

"This is the place you live?" Alfia looked around.

"Yeah. What do you think about it?"

"It's comfy." Alfia could tell it was a comfortable area.

"Thanks."

"Keith!" Hearing his voice, Fira came dashing over to Keith.

"Welcome home!"

'Thanks, Fira." Keith laughed. But then Fira noticed the other spirit.

"Ahh, you're like me!" Fira could feel it.

"Mmhmm. That little bird is a spirit like you." Keith explained.

"Hello! My name is Fira!" Fira puffed up her chest with pride. The wind spirit greeted back.

"Pii!"

"That's your spirit?" Alfia stared at Fira. She could tell it was young.

"Mmhmm. Anyways, do you want to meet both? Diana is in the back." Alfia nodded, and the two headed to the backyard.

"Diana, can you come here for a moment?"

"Hmm? What's the matter, Keith?" Diana walked up to the two.

"This is Alfia. She wanted to meet with you and Fira." Keith introduced Diana to Alfia. But when he turned to Alfia, he noticed something wrong with her.

"Y-you're a great spirit?!"

"Indeed, I am." Diana smiled, "So you can tell what I am?"

"..."

"Alfia?" Keith looked at Alfia, and the latter didn't say anything. What happened was,

Dud!

She fainted.

"..." Are you serious?!
