Once they obtained all their gear, they returned home. Each one did their own thing. Melor, Herrick, and Jack practiced while Keith was in the kitchen to prepare some things.
Gabriel entered the kitchen, "You're going to make lunchboxes?"
"Mmhmm. I'm just prepping right now." Keith smiled as he continued to pack.
"Add some more meat, Keith!" "Same!" Hearing this, Herrick and Jack chimed in through the window! They wanted more meat!
"Maybe I should keep some roast meat." Keith chuckled. These meat lovers.
"Where are the girls?" Carolyn and the girls weren't outside.
"I think Faelyn and Alfia are making preparations of their own. Sarah is focused in her room while Carolyn is with her."
"I see." Keith finished cooking, "Call everyone for dinner."
...
"Why are you acting like this, Grandpa Cadmus?" A sigh of acceptance came out of Keith's mouth as he saw Cadmus gorge himself. It was the same usual thing. Or it should be.
"Be quiet! You're going to be leaving! I need to stuff myself, or I won't be able to take it!" Tears formed in Cadmus's eyes as he continued to stuff himself.
"Are you kidding me?" We're not going to be here for a few days. You're making it sound like we'll be gone for a year! But as he was going to say something,
"Nephele, hold your mouth!" Diana's eyes twitched as she stared at Nephele. That woman did the same!
"But he would be gone!" "That's the spirit, Nephele! Eat everything here!"
"..." These two. Thank goodness...never mind.
"I can't lose to them!" "I will be the biggest eater!"
There were two people who didn't want to lose against them. Carolyn whispered, "Didn't you pack some things for them?" Knowing her childhood friend, he should have done something like that.
"I did. But I only said it to Diana and Aidiun." Keith had no plans to tell Cadmus or Nephele. How they were acting showed precisely why.
"They might eat it all if I told them about it." That was most certainly the case.
"True." Carolyn nodded, "Also, I'm going to sleep over today."
"Eh?" Keith tilted his head.
"You got a lot of spare rooms, right?" "Mmhmm." Keith nodded.
"Then I'm sleeping over!" "...Alright."
...
I see. So this is how you do it? During the night, Keith glanced through the formations Madison gave him. It was similar to a game. There were many roles. However, it could be summed up as follows:
Forward - Rearguard - backline.
Setting up a formation gave the adventurers a specific idea of what to do. That way, it didn't force them to bite off more than they could chew. As Keith continued to look through the papers,
"Keith, why aren't you asleep yet?" Keith turned around to see Alfia by the door.
"Hmm? Aren't you supposed to be asleep as well?"
"I wanted a glass of water. And don't try to change the subject to me." Alfia frowned.
"I'm looking through formations." Keith smiled.
"Hmm? Formations?" "Yeah, we need to organize ourselves when we enter the dungeon."
"Couldn't you do that later? We still have a day before we head off." There was no need for him to look at them right now.
"I want to get an idea first. After all, I don't want anything to happen to you guys."
Alfia scoffed, "Do you really think anything is going to happen to us?" She was someone who was capable of using grand-level magic. Then there was Herrick and Melor, who were strong. Faelyn and Gabriel were strong all-rounders.
"Our party is pretty strong."
"I know. But if I can increase our chances by 1 percent, I will take it." Keith smiled.
"I see," Alfia got up and left his room. Keith returned to studying. But as he did, he noticed there was water on the table.
"Here. If you're going to work so hard for us, you need to be more refreshed." Lemon water was a great way to increase focus.
"Thanks."
"Just don't overdo it. You're our leader." Alfia sighed.
"I know." Alfia didn't say anything else as she left his room. When she did, she saw someone coming here.
"Hello, Carolyn." "Hi,"
"Are you going to go to Keith's room?" "Mmhmm," Carolyn nodded and explained.
"He tends to overwork himself for no reason. So I wanted to warn him."
"Don't worry. I already did it."
"...I see."
"..." "..." There was silence between the two before Alfia said, "I'm going to go to bed now."
"Oh, goodnight."
