Volume 6 Chapter 64: Why Are The Two Of Them Here?
"That's because he told me before about headhunting some freshmen." It was not a surprise that he went after Alfia. They were brother and sister. He definitely had to ask her to join.
Keith asked the others, "Have any of you joined a club yet?"
"I am," Carolyn raised her hand, "I joined the club where my brother is." She was the same as Alfia.
That makes three. Keith turned to Gabriel. However, the latter was talking with some students.
"No, I haven't joined a club. I'm not planning to join one to be honest." Students had the option of not joining.
"Please, student Gabriel!' "We need you for our club!" But the students didn't give up and begged him.
"Gabriel is such a ladies' man." Keith shook his head. The people who were talking to him now were all female.
"You can't say that about him." Alfia scoffed.
"True." Keith wasn't going to deny it.
"When you said it like that, it makes it even worse." Tristan laughed as he walked over. Licht and Maria were by his side.
"Have the two of you finished headhunting from your list?" Keith questioned. He noticed how the two entered the cafeteria. And the two were working quickly.
"Mmhmm. We got most of the students we wanted." Tristan was content with this number of students.
"That's good."
"But I wish you would have joined." Tristan sighed. Gabriel and Keith. Those two were the ones on top of his list. However, he heard what Gabriel had said before, while Keith was unsure.
"Keith, shouldn't you do something about that?" Licht pointed at the side where Herrick and Melor were going all out. It was a battle royale!
"Leave them be," Alfia scoffed, "Those two can handle all of that by themselves." Battle junkies would always find a way to deal with this.
I'm more concerned about that.
"Beauty, how about you join my club?" "Umm-" Sarah was surrounded by a group of handsome males.
"She doesn't want to join." Keith quickly stepped in between Sarah and the upperclassmen.
"..." The senior stared at Keith's imposing figure before dashing off, "Seriously, there are guys like that as well. Sarah, got to be more careful."
"Mmhmm. But he was so handsome." "..."
"You guys have to be more careful." Tristan warned, "Some clubs are pretty weird. You guys have to make sure it's good."
"Understood."
"It's the disciplinary committee!" "The student council is here as well!" Someone shouted. And when that was said,
"What the? The two of them never show themselves." Tristan and Licht were surprised.
"...I take it that this is not supposed to happen?"
"Mmhmm."
"Usually, the disciplinary committee and the student council wouldn't come to club recruitment day. They're different."
"Different, how?"
"Those two are basically part of the school system. And they choose students based on their own criteria. You have to go through multiple interviews just to meet with them."
"So for them to come here is really surprising," Licht added.
"...I see."
"So why are they here?" Maria was concerned. For them to come here meant something happened.
"They have some strong presence." Only four people entered the cafeteria; that alone stopped all the upperclassmen from moving.
"That's because the two people at the top of each one are monsters." The student council president and the disciplinary captain. Two monsters were born in the same generation.
"They far outclassed anyone in their grade. And those two quickly rose to the title faster than anyone."
"So don't cause any trouble, Keith." "Why are you saying like I'm going to do something like that?!"
"8 out of 10 times, you usually cause a mess," Tristan answered. Keith was a walking troublemaker.
"Shouldn't it be 10?" Carolyn and Alfia blamed him for all the messes.
"That's because you got yourself two wild children over there." Tristan pointed at the flying students on the side. Those two added more trouble.
"But on a serious note, Keith, don't cause trouble." Licht added, "The disciplinary squad has been eyeing you."
"Hmm?" This was news to him.
"After all the trouble you caused, a lot of them are keeping an eye on you." Todd Mill's name was left in everyone's mind, but there were stints of him trying to fight in the cafeteria.
"I'm not a criminal."
"In their eyes, you are." The amount of trouble Keith caused was not a joke.
"They probably have it in for you."
