Chapter 1337: Strange Other Dominion

Tens of figures pierced through the dark skies and rushed into the depths of the Treasure Domain.

Li Luo's eyes carefully surveyed the four directions. With the appearance of the Black Pupil Ghostly Curse, it meant that the situation had escalated with unprecedented danger. Before, he only had to watch out for Others but now he had to keep a look out for Ghostly Curse victims.

"Quite a few medium size Other Dominions have been vanquished." Jiang Qing'e suddenly spoke. On the way, they had noticed quite a few traces of Other Dominions which had already been cleansed. Many of them were once filled with True Devils but they had all been slain.

Li Luo nodded his head lightly. This was not good news. The more Other Dominions that were vanquished would mean that there were even more Foundational Spirit Treasures landing in the hands of others. This also meant that the Black Pupil Ghostly Curse would have propagated amongst even more individuals.

If it continued to spread, Li Luo suspected that there would be more people who were corrupted than those who weren't.

At that point wouldn't they be surrounded by the corrupted?

When he thought about how there would be numerous others corrupted like Wen Xuan, Li Luo's scalp turned numb.

Weng!

Just as he was wallowing in his own thoughts, the sky before him began to rumble explosively as worldly natural energy began to surge violently, as though the sky was about to collapse.

Everyone's figure paused in surprise as their gaze looked into the distance. What they saw was that the void was distorting before them and dense amounts of corruption began to scatter in every direction.

The fluctuations indicated that this was an Other Dominion!

However this wasn't an ordinary one either. It seemed to be alive as it constantly expanded, and whilst it did so, beams of light that reminded one of starlight shot out from it.

The disturbance created by this Other Dominion's appearance was humongous. At the same time, numerous gazes from all across the Treasure Domain were directed towards it. When they carefully inspected those beams of light, they were completely shocked.

A moment later, greed and avarice could be seen in their eyes.

After previously vanquishing the Other Dominions, they knew that these energy undulations signified that the beams of light contained Foundational Spirit Treasures!

Furthermore considering the amount of light emitted, it would indicate that the Foundational Spirit Treasure would likely be at least high-grade!

Just what sort of Other Dominion could produce such a humongous number of them?

Was that a large sized Other Dominion? However the corruption that radiated from it seemed to be far inferior.

This caused everyone to look at it suspiciously. This Other Dominion was too strange and its origin wasn't simple. However the beams of starlight were simply too alluring.

Quite a few hesitated.

"This Other Dominion is a little weird." Li Luo spoke heavily as he interrupted everyone's eager gaze.

Jiang Qing'e nodded as she spoke coolly. "The previous Other Dominions all had Foundational Spirit Treasures that were tainted by corruption. Now that this Other Dominion very clearly released Foundational Spirit Treasures outwardly, its intentions are obvious."

The two Guardian Generals, Li Foluo and Li Tingyue also retracted their gazes as they nodded. After experiencing the Black Pupil Ghostly Curse, they now trusted Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e unconditionally.

"Do you think that this Other Dominion is a bait set by the Origin Reversion Institute?" Li Foluo asked.

"Since they've spent such a huge amount of effort to release the Black Pupil Ghostly Curse discreetly, this might very well be the center of the conspiracy." Li Luo guessed.

"Shall we avoid this Other Dominion then?" Li Hongyou asked.

"Avoid it!" Li Luo answered with hesitation. Since this Other Dominion had something wrong with it, there was no need to risk their lives to enter it. High-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures might be valuable but with Li Hongyou's abilities, they would just need a bit of time to obtain an equally great reward.

The rest then nodded their heads in assent.

However, just as they prepared to make a move, the ostentatious Other Dominion began to shake as two incredible pillars of starlight shot into the air.

These pillars of light were exceptionally radiant and everyone within a thousand meters could see it. At the same time, it disseminated an incredibly dense fragrance which everyone could smell.

All the Dukes present felt their Duke Bergfrieds roaring and trembling with feverish desire towards those objects.

Their eyes turned red with intense longing.

Heavy breathing broke out amongst them all.

Li Luo, who had originally planned to leave, also froze in his tracks. The two beams of starlight were reflected in his eyes as his expression changed.

"Top-grade Foundational Spirit Treasure!"

Those were the signs!

This was what Li Luo desired the most.

With that, he could break into the Duke stage.

Li Foluo and Li Tingyue's breathing had also turned heavy. These were objects that held a fatal temptation to them. With it, they would have a great certainty of being able to forge the next Duke Bergfried!

The construction of each Duke Bergfried, after all, required one to expend their potential. Thus many Dukes had already reached the end of the line as they had excavated all of their existing potential. The only way to take the next step forward was to rely on the aid of Foundational Spirit Treasures to supplement that gap.

Jiang Qing'e frowned. She could feel that this Other Dominion was luring people in on purpose. Since high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures were not enough, it had released two top-grade ones to further entice others.

One had to know that even in the depths of the Treasure Domain where large Other Dominions could be found, there was no guarantee of a top-grade Foundational Spirit Treasure appearing. Meanwhile this particular one in the outer regions held two!

If a black hand existed behind the curtain, it would undoubtedly have paid a huge price to do this.

As they were still left in shock, numerous booms resounded through the air around them. Numerous figures were shooting through the skies, rushing towards the Other Dominion.

Countless figures blotted out the sky.

Who knew just how many hesitant squads had been roused into action now.

There was no choice. No one could resist the temptation brought about by such an object.

Li Foluo, Li Tingyue and the rest then glanced at Li Luo. "Should we go?"

Li Luo fell silent for a few breaths of time before he shook his head reluctantly. "It looks like there definitely is a problem there."

There was no need for him to say it as everyone had the same thought in mind. How could such a delectable meat pie fall from the skies before them? There was definitely something wrong if two top-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures had appeared here.

However dangers came coupled with opportunities.

If they wanted to obtain these treasures, how could they not expose themselves to immense danger?

Jiang Qing'e sighed as she suddenly turned towards Li Hongyou. "Hongyou, are you able to tell if those are real or fake Foundational Spirit Treasures?"

The rest were surprised by her question. Indeed, there could be a possibility these Foundational Spirit Treasures weren't even real. If it was just an illusory projection, wouldn't they have suffered a tremendous loss if they rashly rushed for it?

If they were actual top-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures, there was a chance they could bear the risk and fight for it. Otherwise it would just be a waste.

Li Hongyou was taken aback by the question but she immediately and attentively attuned herself towards the fragrance. In the end, she opened her red lips and spoke, "These are real Foundational Spirit Treasures. This includes the two top-grade ones. The fragrance and spiritual energy fluctuations are all legitimate."

The rest believed her considering her sensitivity to natural treasures.

Jiang Qing'e then fell silent for a brief moment before her bright eyes flickered.

"Sister Qing'e, it's too dangerous!" Li Luo could sense what Jiang Qing'e was about to do as he blurted out.

He knew that these two top-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures had moved her heart. However it wasn't for her but for him instead.

"What you need now are top-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures." Jiang Qing'e looked at Li Luo and spoke without reservation.

She knew his wild ambitions and that he wanted to forge a Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfried once he broke through, similarly embarking on the Path of Ascension. Thus he had to get his hands on those treasures.

"Furthermore, if the Other Dominion truly has someone pulling the strings behind it, avoiding this situation may not be for the best. We may lose the opportunity to gather critical information and be unable to respond to it appropriately later. It might be dangerous to enter the Other Dominion but only then can we discern the plots that lie hidden. Otherwise if they were to accomplish their objective, could we actually remain unscathed by standing alone outside? There are quite a few squads within the Other Dominion which we can cooperate with. If they are all dealt with, then could we only rely on ourselves? No one knows the situation regarding the high-grade Dukes deep within the Treasure Domain. I feel that the ones plotting this conspiracy will not let them interfere either." Jiang Qing'e explained with a cool voice as her long hair fluttered in the wind. Her incredible beauty seemed enhanced as bright light flowed around her.

Everyone fell silent. Her explanation was quite logical after all.

"Of course this is just my rational analysis." A slight smile broke out on her face as she continued. "What I personally feel is that Li Luo needs a top-grade Foundational Spirit Treasure. So no matter the danger, I'll still brave it."

The rest were caught off guard by this sudden declaration as they looked on at the duo with complicated expressions.

Li Luo felt a little helpless. Jiang Qing'e's attitude was clear for all to see. She knew that it was a perilous task but she was willing to do it for the treasures.

He then sighed deeply a few times before turning towards Li Foluo and the rest. "What do you all think?"

"I feel that Dragon Fang Envoy Jiang's words are reasonable. This is an opportunity, not a disaster. If it really is one, there's no avoiding it either." Li Tingyue grinned.

Li Foluo nodded his head. "Since we've encountered such a treasure, it'd be a crime to not take a closer look..."

Li Hongyou only lightly smiled. "I'm with you two."

Their intentions were made clear and the answer was obvious.

Thus Li Luo no longer hesitated either as he raised his head and glanced at the Other Dominion in the distance. So be it. Now that things had come to this, they had to go take a closer look and see just what sort of dangers were present within.

After all, a top-grade Foundational Spirit Treasure was simply too alluring.
