Chapter 74 Lights, Camera, Action I*
Hand in hand, we walked inside, the warm glow of the theater lights welcoming us. The scent of buttered popcorn filled the air, and the quiet hum of anticipation buzzed around us. Alicia's excitement was contagious, and I couldn't help but smile as she led me toward the entrance of the screening hall.
"Come on, Sir Arthur. Let's see if this knight and princess can win you over."
"Fine," I said with a grin. "But I doubt they can compete with the real princess I'm already with."
Her cheeks flushed at the compliment, and she squeezed my hand. "Smooth talker."
"Only for you," I said, winking as we stepped into the theater, ready to lose ourselves in a story—cliché or not.
At the entrance, a guard approached, his eyes respectfully lowering as he asked, "May I see your ticket, sir?"
Arthur smoothly pulled out his pad, the sleek display lighting up as he showed the VIP pass. The guard's demeanor shifted instantly. "Right this way, noble guests."
He guided us through a discreet door, away from the bustling crowd of the general area. The noise and chatter faded behind us as we entered a more exclusive, serene section. The corridor was dim, the soft glow of hidden lights casting an intimate ambiance over the polished wooden floors.
At the end of the hallway, the guard opened the door to a private cabin. The room was modest in size but dripped with opulence. Rich velvet walls, soft dim lighting, and in the center, a plush couple's seat wrapped in deep red leather. A single floor-to-ceiling glass pane dominated the front, offering a perfect, unobstructed view of the massive screen.
"If you need anything, please press the buzzer beside the seats," the guard informed us with a respectful bow before quietly retreating.
As soon as the door clicked shut behind him, Alicia stepped forward, her eyes sweeping across the room. "From here, we can see everyone down there," she murmured, moving to the glass, her fingertips brushing the cold surface as she peered at the audience below.
Arthur leaned beside her, a mischievous glint in his eyes. His gaze settled on a shadowed corner of the theater floor. He smirked and pointed. "Look over there. See them? The couple in the back row."
Alicia squinted and then gasped softly, catching sight of a pair entwined in a passionate kiss, their faces hidden by the dim light. Their movements were bold, hands roaming freely, thinking they were hidden from view.
Arthur chuckled. "They really think no one can see them. How naïve."
Alicia playfully smacked his arm. "Hey! Don't invade their privacy, you voyeur," she scolded, though her lips curled into a smile.
"Fine, fine," Arthur relented, holding up his hands in mock surrender. "I'll behave. For now." His eyes sparkled with mischief as he slid into the plush seat, patting the spot beside him. "Come on, let's settle in. The movie's about to start."
Alicia joined him, her warm presence settling against his side. She pressed the buzzer beside the seat, and within moments, the door opened.
A stewardess entered, her presence commanding attention. She was stunning—tall, with a curvaceous figure accentuated by the tailored uniform that hugged her body in all the right places. Her neckline dipped low enough to tease but not reveal, and the short hem of her skirt showcased long, toned legs ending in sleek heels. Her eyes, a deep shade of green, sparkled with professionalism and a hint of allure.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
"How can I assist you, noble guests?" she asked, her voice smooth and honeyed.
Arthur leaned back, letting his eyes subtly wander for a brief moment before replying. "Popcorn and two cold drinks."
"Anything else, sir?" the stewardess asked, her tone soft and inviting, her eyes lingering a little longer on Arthur.
Alicia's fingers tightened slightly around his arm. "No, that'll be all for now," she said with a polite but firm smile.
Arthur noticed the subtle shift and smirked inwardly. "Thank you. We'll call if we need anything else."
The stewardess gave a slight bow, her form accentuated by the tight uniform, and gracefully exited the cabin. Alicia watched her leave, her eyes narrowing for just a moment before turning back to Arthur.
"You really know how to attract attention, don't you?" she teased, though there was a hint of possessiveness in her voice.
Arthur chuckled, pulling her closer. "It's not my fault that I am so handsome"
"Narcissist"
"You know it's true," Arthur murmured, his voice low and inviting. His hand slid down her back, fingertips grazing the bare skin at the edge of her blouse. "Since we have a little time before the movie starts… how about we entertain ourselves?"
Alicia's eyes darkened with intrigue, her lips parting slightly. "And what exactly do you have in mind?"
Arthur leaned in, his lips a breath away from hers. "Let me show you."
He kissed her, slow and deep, his hand sliding under the hem of her blouse, fingers tracing the warm curve of her waist. Alicia responded eagerly, her hand gripping his thigh tighter, nails lightly digging into his skin through the fabric.
The soft hum of the theater, the muted lights, the world outside—they all faded as the heat between them intensified. Arthur's hand ventured higher, exploring the smooth expanse of her back, while his lips moved with deliberate sensuality against hers.
Alicia pulled back just enough to whisper, her breath warm against his lips. "We shouldn't… the stewardess will be back."
Arthur grinned, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Then we'll have to be quick." His hand slipped under her skirt, fingers teasing the sensitive skin of her inner thigh. Alicia gasped softly, her eyes fluttering closed.
Before things could escalate further, a soft knock echoed at the door, pulling them back to reality.
Alicia quickly adjusted her skirt, her cheeks flushed and her breath uneven. Arthur straightened, though the playful spark in his eyes remained.
The stewardess returned, carrying a tray with their popcorn and drinks. She set them down with a polite smile, her gaze flickering briefly between the two of them as if sensing the charged atmosphere.
"Enjoy the movie," she said softly, her lips curving into a knowing smile before she turned and left them alone once again.
Alicia exhaled, grabbing a handful of popcorn. "You're insatiable, you know that?"
Arthur chuckled, taking a sip of his drink. "Only when I'm around you."
"Hah~ Do you expect me to believe that?" Alicia teased, raising an eyebrow.
He leaned closer, a playful glint in his eyes. "Believe it or not, it's true. You're my addiction, Alicia."
She rolled her eyes, but her smile betrayed her amusement. "Smooth. I'll give you that."
