Another Stupid Isekai

Chapter 898 T.D.O.N.B: The Monk

I bought the 'Enlighten one' which was the evolution of the 'Monk' class. It gave me access to the following skills: 'Mind mastery II',  'Body mastery II',  'Breathing technique II',  'Ki II',  'Ki manipulation II',  'Ki strengthening II',  'Ki release II',  'Ki absorption',  'KI flow'.

'Ki absorption' allowed me to absorb the Ki from the environment without breathing. Meditation, while focusing on this process increased its effectiveness drastically, but even without it, it was working decently.

'KI flow' changed how the energy was being distributed in my body, putting it in a better order which improved how I functioned overall.

I upgraded all of those skills fully and immediately felt a difference. Mainly because the amount of Ki I possessed increased drastically. The energy was flowing into me, making me stronger with each breath.

The next evolution was called the 'Unity' which I immediately bought. It gave me access to the following skills: 'Mind mastery III',  'Body mastery III',  'Breathing technique III',  'Ki III',  'Ki manipulation III',  'Ki strengthening III',  'Ki release III',  'Ki absorption II',  'KI flow II',  'Disruptive strikes',  'Shattering strikes',  'Union of body and mind'.

'Disruptive strikes' allowed me to disturb the flow of Ki in the bodies of others. Making them sluggish, since, and even paralyzing them completely. All I had to do was hit them with anything that possessed my Ki. It could be my fist or even the pudao with the energy circulation inside the weapon.

'Shattering strikes' were a more drastic version of similar power. Those types of attacks didn't really care to disrupt the flow, instead focusing on the proper destruction of it in the struck area. You could even kill with those if they would land in a particular place, like, for example, above the hearth. The strike itself didn't have to be that strong at all to achieve this.

'Union of body and mind' was a further improvement of the 'Mind mastery' and the 'Body mastery' mastery skills. Thanks to this I had better control of myself, as the synchronization grew.

I fully upgraded them all, unlocking the next evolution. The 'One beyond', gave me access to the following skills: 'Mind mastery IV',  'Body mastery IV',  'Breathing technique IV',  'Ki IV',  'Ki manipulation IV',  'Ki strengthening IV',  'Ki release IV',  'Ki absorption III',  'KI flow III',  'Disruptive strikes II',  'Shattering strikes II',  'Union of body and mind II',  'Harmonization',  'Ghost-step'.

'Harmonization' put my own KI in harmony with the energy outside, increasing the pace at which I could absorb it, but also improving the way how I functioned in the outside world. I no longer had to fight with the flow of air around me, gravity, or anything else. We were in harmony now.

'Ghost-step' actually reacquired the previous skill to function. It was a way to move around relying on this harmony, making me adapt better to what was going on. This drastically improved the way I could dodge things, to the point I could avoid even something unavoidable. It reacquired a constant use of KI, a lot of it, actually, but was very impressive.

After purchasing it, I tested it. It looked and felt like a short-range teleportation. I was still moving at my own speed, but the world around me wasn't bothering with physics anymore. It was like kinetic energy was no longer involved. I could run past you t full speed, and you wouldn't die. You wouldn't even notice, as a matter of fact.

Then I returned to buy the final evolution of the class, 'In perfect harmony'. It unlocked the following skills for me: 'Mind mastery V',  'Body mastery V',  'Breathing technique V',  'Ki V',  'Ki manipulation V',  'Ki strengthening V',  'Ki release V',  'Ki absorption IV',  'KI flow IV',  'Disruptive strikes III',  'Shattering strikes III',  'Union of body and mind III', 'Harmonization II',  'Ghost-step II',  'Perfect Ki',  'Shattering blow'.

'Perfect Ki' turned my Ki into its perfect version, which was nowhere like the regular Ki. It was way stronger, and it made me way stronger too. The biggest advantage, though, was the fact that my efficiency increased. I no longer needed as much ki to perform certain actions as before. Now I could do it with much less.

'Shattering blow' on the other hand was a powerful attack, which I can only name as 'One shot, one kill'. Bu landing one hit I could make your ki explode in your body, causing an incredible amount of internal damage. The amount of this damage relied on how harmonic the flow of Ki inside your body was, so for a regular human being it was a certain death, but for a master - like me - it wouldn't do anything, as my flow was ultra-harmonic.

I upgraded fully all of those skills, then did some testing, running around Loistavadvaar like an idiot while fighting with imagined enemies. Well, maybe fighting is a bit too strong of a word. I practically only dodged. Sometimes blocked, and full-on retreated from my position.

At a very rapid pace, I started to put together all of those skills. Especially my 360° got really well assembled with the 'Ghost-step'. I was practically untouchable, which gave me a lot of confidence.

The mission ahead was very tough. Borderline impossible. Well... To tell you the truth, having a good visualization of the enemy thanks to the maps, The Great One showed us, I thought that it couldn't possibly work. Even if somehow everything went according to our plan, which, realistically speaking, was borderline impossible. After these upgrades, I started feeling a slight chance for success. A single ray of hope.

A chance that would only grow, because I still had quite a number of points waiting to be used. But I wasn't the only one, as my friends were actively pursuing more crystals as I was figuring out where to invest the points I'd accumulated.  Thinking about that I bought the 'Monk' class once again, then the 'Fighter'. Lastly, I combined them to get the 'Enlightened blade' class.
