Chapter 10: You are good person.
Chapter 10: You are good person.
"Ah!" She woke abruptly, a throbbing headache pulsing through her head as she realized she was lying on a soft, plush bed.
"You're awake?" A voice, calm yet concerned, came from behind her.
"Who are you?" she asked, turning to see a figure of a man standing at the door. Her voice was still groggy from just waking up.
"I am Yun Wuji, the one who saved your life. What is your name?" He introduced himself and asked for hers.
"My name is... what is my name?" She tilted her head, looking confused. Suddenly, a pained expression crossed her face. "Ah, my head hurts!"
Yun Wuji shook his head and advised: "If you can't remember, don't think about it. Don't make it difficult for yourself."
'Amnesia? Cliché!'
"Do you remember what happened to you?" he continued to ask.
"Mmm, I remember a very strong beast attacking me, and I ran to your place," she said after pondering for a moment.
"And why did you run to my place?" he asked.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"I don't know. I just knew that if I got to your place, I would be safe," she replied, a confused look flashing in her eyes. She wanted to know why, too.

He asked a few more questions and concluded that she had lost all her memories, except for the few moments before she lost consciousness.
"Alright then, you can stay with me until you recover," Wuji added. "Or you can leave if you want."
"Really? Thank you! You are a good person," the woman exclaimed, grabbing his hand excitedly.
'Don't give me the good guy card!'
Wuji noticed that along with her memories, her cold personality had also vanished. "Well, now that you're awake, I need to perform a check-up." He hadn't touched her earlier when she was unconscious; women in this world were too sensitive to such matters. Who knew if she might have reacted badly or even tried to kill herself if he had simply touched her?
He used his healing light to mend her injuries and the power of the wind to transport her to his room.
"Ok! What should I do?" She nodded in agreement.
"Nothing, I just need to measure your pulse at your wrist," he explained as he gently took her wrist.
He was surprised to find that her skin was as cold as ice.
He infused a strand of profound light strength into her. Soon, his brow furrowed, forming a frown.
The woman saw his expression and started to worry. Was her condition dangerous?
After inspecting her body, Wuji discovered a significant amount of cold air permeating her organs, blood, bone marrow, and dantian.
If left untreated, it will continue to severely harm her internal organs and shorten her lifespan to only one-third of its potential.
Of course, for someone like him, curing this wasn't difficult. What made him frown was that these symptoms seemed all too familiar.
Aren't these the symptoms of the side effects of cultivating the crappy Frozen Cloud Arts?
Honestly, aside from refining the body and features of the cultivator to make them good- looking, it's trash compared to other arts.
So this woman is a disciple of the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace.
With this information, identifying her identity was easy. In fact, he already had a good guess as to who she was.
Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace, Rank 9 Sky Profound Realm... There's only one person who fits that description.
Among the disciples of the sect, only the Frozen Cloud Seven Fairies are at the Sky Profound Realm, but none of them have reached the 9th level of the Sky Profound Realm.
The only plausible explanation is that the head of the fairies has yet to reach the 10th level of the Sky Profound Realm.
The woman in front of him is certainly Chu Yuechan.
'Really, my genius is almost frightening. Maybe I should consider a career change to detective,' he thought to himself.
"How is it? Is there hope for me?" Her voice brought him back from his deep thoughts.
"Don't worry, I don't mean to brag, but there's no one better than me on this planet when it comes to healing," Wuji reassured her, sensing her nervousness. "Your condition has already stabilized. You just need to rest for a while."
"As for your memory loss, I deduced that you may need some stimulation," he added.
"Stimulation?" The woman tilted her head cutely.
Yun Wuji looked at her, unable to reconcile the cold Chu Yuechan from earlier with the clueless woman in front of him.
"What I mean is that you might need to stimulate your memory, for example, seeing someone you used to know, like your family or a friend," he explained slowly.
"Really? I'm not going to die? You're not lying, right?" The woman squeezed his hands nervously as she asked.
"Of course not!" he reassured her, patting her hand.
"Thank you, senior. You're really a good person!" The clueless woman once again delivered to him the good person card.
"Don't call me senior!" Black lines appeared on his forehead when he heard her call him that
again.
"Why? What should I call you then?" she asked, genuinely confused. isn't senior, senior? "I'm still young, you can just call me by my name," Yun Wuji replied casually. "Alright, rest for now. Tomorrow I'll check on you again," he said, standing up and leaving the room.
As she watched him leave, a wave of loneliness washed over her. She wanted to spend more time with him. Since losing her memories, he was the only person she could truly trust. The few memories she had left were all about him.
Unconsciously, she began to develop a sense of dependence on him.
Imagine waking up with no memories, except for a few scattered ones about a man who once saved you. Then, he's the first person you see when you regain consciousness. Wouldn't you naturally develop some level of dependence on him?
Leaving the room, he moved to the living area and settled cross-legged. He had built the house on a whim, a simple structure with only one room, now occupied by Chu Yuechan.
There are a few reasons why he went to such lengths to help her. The most obvious one is that she's a beautiful woman, and he's in his teens now-a time when his body is full of vigor. The second, and most important reason, is that she's a member of the Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace, which could help him forge a connection with Mu Bingyun.
Closing his eyes, he focused on his veins, currently at the 4th level of the Profound Sky Realm.
His rate of growth was astonishing-few would believe someone could advance through three realms in less than three months.
However, Wuji didn't find it particularly remarkable. During this period, his main focus had been on mastering his new technique.
As for cultivation, he had always progressed swiftly. In fact, if he didn't have to breakthrough the additional levels in each realm, he would have surpassed the Sovereign Profound Realm and stepped on the divine way a long time ago.
But he didn't feel that he was losing, because each additional level increased his foundation which in turn increased his battle strength.
At his current level, he could effortlessly crush any Overlord and contend with early-stage Monarchs. However, he knew this superiority would diminish as his realm rose.
There is a huge difference between the realms of cultivation in this world, and the further you
go, the more so.
Similar to Yun Che, who could kill early-stage Overlords when he was in the Sky Realm, his dominance faded as he stepped on the divine path. Eventually, he could only fight those who
are a major realm higher than his own.
He could crush Divine Master when he was a Divine Soavering - a feat unparalleled and
unmatched by others.
The ability to battle across realms becomes increasingly harder. In the whole novel, only Tian
Guhu showed the ability to fight across realms.
"It's time to leave this place," he muttered, opening his eyes.
There was no longer any reason for him to stay; he had planned to leave ever since he
encountered a bottleneck in his technique.
'Perhaps the Phoenix Trial or Dragon Trial can help.'
