Eternal life begins with saving my clan

Chapter 349 Arrival of Zimo and the Soldiers.

"Captain, what should we do?" a soldier asked, staring at Zimo.

Since the sudden disappearance of their Emperor, they had been stuck in the forsaken desert, searching for him.

For the past month, they had fought tooth and nail with various terrifying beasts of the ancient battlefield.

And now, their ammunition was running out, and the whereabouts of the Emperor were still unknown.

If they did not return to the barren land soon, they would run out of ammo, and the only thing waiting for them was death.

Even though they were not scared of death, that did not mean they should die because of their stupidity.

Looking at his men, Zimo could understand their thoughts. Each of them had tried their best to find the Emperor, but everything was futile.

Thus, they wouldn't be blamed if they wanted to return home. However, he couldn't give the order for them to return home when he knew the Emperor was out there.

To him, that was a betrayal that deserved death.

On the other hand, if they returned home and reported to the base, they could launch a large-scale search for the Emperor.

Thinking of this, he decided to cut off their fruitless search.

"We wait for one more day, and if we do not find His Majesty, we will go back," Zimo announced.

Huh!

When the soldiers heard this, a sigh of relief escaped from their mouths. They had been mentally and physically exhausted, fighting continuously for one month.

Their previously pristine armor suits were covered in dirt, and some had various cracks.

With the hope of going home the following day, the soldiers sat on the ground, trying to recover their strength.

Zimo looked at his men for a moment before he averted his gaze and looked into the distance.

'Your Majesty, where are you?' he thought with a knitted brow.

Suddenly, he received a notification on his Spirit Comms. Since they embarked on this journey, they had placed their Spirit Comms on emergency mode, and only His Majesty and the Army General could send them messages.

With His Majesty's disappearance, the only person who could send them an emergency message was the Army General.

However, when he opened the message, his jaw dropped to the ground.

"H-His... Majesty..." His lips trembled, and his heart raced with excitement.

The message was short, consisting only of a location. Without thinking twice, he looked at his men and commanded,

"Back on your feet, we're leaving."

Hmm!

The soldiers were stunned and confused; they could not understand why their captain would ask them to leave.

"Captain..."

"Shut up and get up," Zimo interrupted with a solemn expression.

Seeing the seriousness on their captain's face, the soldiers did not dare to dilly-dally and got to their feet.

They got into the Humvee and departed in a specific direction. Realizing the direction they were going, the soldiers looked at each other in confusion.

After an hour, the Humvee stopped at a particular location.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"Captain, what are we doing here?" one of the soldiers asked.

"Wait, and you will know," Zimo responded with a light smile on his face.

Even though the soldiers did not understand what was going on, they had no choice but to wait and see what their captain was up to.

Just as they were waiting, the air around the Humvee twisted, and a bright light erupted from beneath the ground.

Whoosh!

The first Humvee disappeared into thin air, leaving the others stunned.

What just happened?!

As they were trying to understand what had just happened, they received a notification on their Spirit Comms.

"It's from His Majesty?!" one of them exclaimed in shock.

"I knew it! Nothing could happen to His Majesty," another soldier responded excitedly.

"This is not the time to get excited. We should follow His Majesty's orders," a soldier reminded them.

Quickly, the soldiers followed the instructions on their Spirit Comms and disappeared from the Ancient Battlefield.

Meanwhile, outside Blue Crystal City, a group of soldiers stood patiently, staring at the teleportation formation.

Their King had ordered them to wait and receive the incoming visitors.

It had been a day since Su Yen unveiled the Black Pagoda, and many changes had happened throughout the city.

One of the major changes was the sudden disappearance of the invisible oppression on their bodies.

Now, everyone could sense their spiritual energy in the air without depending on the Divine Stone.

When the people found out about this, they were shocked and full of excitement.

It was then they learned that since they became part of the Pagoda Bloodline, the oppression on their bodies was removed.

Now, the king had ordered the new soldiers to wait beside the teleportation formation, which made people curious.

Just then, a bright light appeared on the teleportation circle, and when the light dispersed, a strange carriage levitated in the air.

When the waiting soldiers saw the strange floating carriage, they were stupefied.

What is this?

How could a carriage float in the air?

Just as the soldiers were reeling in confusion, Zimo looked at the soldiers in the distance with slight confusion on his face.

"Are you going to stay there all day?" Zimo heard a voice in his ear and froze for a moment.

Experience tales with empire

"Your Majesty!" he exclaimed and woke up from his trance.

"Leave the teleportation circle," Su Yen said calmly.

"Em... Yes." Zimo nodded and drove the Humvee from the teleportation circle.

Just as the Humvee left the teleportation circle, another Humvee appeared.

This continued for another couple of seconds until five Humvees appeared in front of the city.

As for the welcoming soldiers, they froze, staring at the bizarre scene happening right in front of them.

It was only when the guard captain heard Su Yen's voice did he wake up from his stupor.

Hmm! Hmm!

Clearing his throat, the guard captain stepped forward and spoke, "Welcome, esteemed guests. His Majesty has been waiting for you. Please follow us."

With that, the guard captain led his men into the city while he frequently looked back.

Behind him, Zimo and his men drove the Humvee into the city.

When the crowd inside the city saw the floating carriage, they were left speechless.

The quiet outer city was in an uproar as people went to call their friends and family to come and watch the floating carriage.

Today was a day many would never forget in their mortal lives.
