Eternal life begins with saving my clan

Chapter 58 : Continous Breakthrough... Foundation Building Realm

[Ding!]

[Creating a sect: Doing what no one has ever done for the past thousand years has increased the world providence.]

[You've earned three months of cultivation.]

Su Yen was reviewing the Spirit Comms upgrade when he heard the system notification in his head.

For a couple of seconds, he was shocked and shook his head.

"Is the system pushing me to do something that will put me and the world in danger?" He thought out loud with a bittersweet smile.

He was immortal and didn't fear any danger, but he wouldn't be stupid enough not to consider those around him. Besides, the Lotus World was also in the equation.

Lost in thought, a stream of pure spiritual essence rushed into his body from the atmosphere, and his cultivation began to climb up.

Su Yen had recently broken through to the Peak of Qi Refinement stage 7. Now, the system was awarding him with three months of cultivation.

From the Early Qi Refinement stage 7 to peak:

Pop!

Early Qi Refinement stage 8.

Peak Qi Refinement stage 8.

Pop!

Early Qi Refinement stage 9.

His cultivation speed did not reduce at all and continued to climb up at a speed visible to the eyes, astounding him.

'Stage 10!' Su Yen exclaimed in his heart when he realized he did not break through to the foundation building realm.

'What was going on?!' He widened his eyes, and he couldn't remain calm anymore. Standing up on his feet, he checked his rising cultivation with a slight panic on his face.

Peak Qi Refinement stage 10.

Immediately his cultivation reached the peak, a dark cloud gathered over the barren land, shocking everyone in the barren land.

They raised their heads with various conflicting thoughts flashing on their faces.

However, when they realized the dark cloud was gathering in the direction of the Celestial Heavenly Sect, a look of realization appeared on their faces.

They stopped bothering about the dark cloud and continued their work as if the dark cloud didn't exist.

Meanwhile, in the southern barren land, Huang Yin looked at the dark cloud with a slight frown on her face.

'I hope this is a good omen…' She thought, her brow twitching with worry.

Huang Yin worried about the dark cloud, heard the sound of incoming footsteps from behind and turned her head.

"Elder sister," Huang Ruo called happily as she raced into the courtyard.

"Take it easy, silly girl," Huang Yin's cold voice softened a bit as she smiled at her little sister.

"I'm not a girl. I'm a young woman," she pouted angrily.

A slight chuckle escaped from Huang Yin, and she shook her head. "What brings you here? I know you've been busy for quite a few days."

Pointing out her tongue mischievously, she hugged Huang Yin's left arm. "Since all of you are getting stronger all of a sudden, I decided to cultivate a bit…"

"Really!" Huang Yin exclaimed, her face full of skepticism.

"Of course. Now, I'm at Body Building realm stage 3. Am I not awesome?" She said, staring at Huang Yin with her eyes, waiting for her praise.

"Wow! My niece is a genius and hardworking," she played along with her antics.

"I know… I know… You don't have to praise." Huang Ruo giggled.

Huang Yin's expression turned serious and she asked in a low voice. "Why are you here? I believe there must be something you need to tell me."

"Yes…" The mischievous smile on her face disappeared, and she straightened her back.

"Those from the outer land have lodged in one of the hotels…" She reported, with a look of confusion flashing on her face.

"Elder sister, who are they, and why did they come to the barren land?" She asked.

"You don't need to meddle with them. Stay out of it," Huang Yin warned with a stern voice.

She knew how mischievous her niece was. In Jade City, everyone knew of her. Therefore, she couldn't let her mischievous behavior put her in danger.

"I know, elder sister. I'm not stupid enough to walk into a lion's den."

"Good. Tell them to continue to monitor them. You can leave now," she commanded.

At the center of Jade City, an eight-story lavish hotel stood proudly, different from the surrounding buildings.

The previously bustling hotel was quiet like a graveyard, as a group of powerful guards surrounded the hotel.

Inside the most luxurious room, Wang Bingwen looked at the three branch managers reporting what was happening in the barren land to him respectfully.

"So you are saying those weak clans invented an armor and this…taking over the control of the barren land." Wang Bingwen played with the small Spirit Comms in his palm.

Even though he was talking to the three branch managers, a look of disdain flashed through his face.

"Yes, young master," Wu Bin responded respectfully.

"Elder Bo, see what is special about this mortal thing," he commanded.

Immediately, the thin Elder Bo nodded respectfully and took a Spirit Comms from the table, scrutinizing it with his sharp gaze.

For a couple of seconds, the room was in silence as they waited patiently for Elder Bo to complete his inspection. They didn't have to wait for long, as a slight shock appeared on his face.

"All I see are formations and runes on it," Elder Bo said carefully before looking at the three branch managers with a sharp, deadly gaze.

"Are you sure this thing can communicate with one another, no matter the distance?" He asked, not believing their claims.

"Yes," Wu Bin responded, as she was getting infuriated with their continuous asking of the same question.

Wang Bingwen raised the corner of his brow when he sensed the slight irritation in Wu Bin's tone, but didn't make a comment.

He kept it in his mind and said, "Elder Bo pick two guards to test them."

Whoosh!

In an instant, Elder Bo disappeared from the room, and no one saw how he moved. Wu Bin and the others were shocked and exchanged subtle glances with their faces racing in joy.

With Elder Bo's strength, they began to see the doom of the Su sacred clan, which was now the Celestial Heavenly Sect.

After a couple of minutes, Elder Bo returned with a slight shock on his face. On his left finger was a Spirit Comms.

"How was it?" Wang Bingwen asked.

"Magical!" He exclaimed. "I've never heard of anything that could do this… It's like we're communicating face to face with each other."

When Wang Bingwen heard this, he was shocked. Previously, he didn't believe such a claim, but now he realized it was true. Yet, there was a question lingering in his mind.

"How far did you test it?"

"I left the city and moved more than 5 miles before testing it," he responded.

"Good! Good!"

Wang Bingwen couldn't contain his excitement this time around and smiled.

"This should belong to my Crimson Jade Pavilion. I must take control of it immediately." A sharp, evil smile flashed through his face.

'I didn't want to come to this cursed land, but who would have expected me to find such a treasure…' He laughed in his mind.

'Elder sister… thank you,' he screamed inwardly.

"Send our men to close all the stores selling the Spirit Comms and Metal Bone Armors. As for the families behind them, bring them to me," he commanded ruthlessly.
