When Jian Yufei woke up again, it was already nine at night.

Ruan Tianling was by her side all along, silent, with a gloomy mood due to the day’s events.

“I told you to leave!”

He stood up and brought a cup of warm water. He put the cup on the bedside table, helped her sit up, and tried to feed her water.

Jian Yufei was weak, but her hands could still move.

She forcefully pushed away the cup, spilling its content on the floor, some of it splashed onto Ruan Tianling’s expensive trousers.

He didn’t mind, put her down, and brought another cup of water.
