Global Awakening: Apocalypse Ender's Chronicle

Chapter 362 The Vampire's Concern

Shane had many items and skills he could use, so if the Vampire wanted to kill him, it wouldn't be easy!

Aside from his Tier 4 Swat Uniform that could absorb a huge amount of damage, he also has a Safety Token, Fast Regeneration, Heightened Awareness, Aura Mastery, Enhanced Senses, and Triple-Enhanced Vision!

He could use these skills to sense the incoming attacks and protect his body with his Aura!

After all, the Vampire's attacks came with blinding speed, and each of his strikes pushed him to his limits.

'You're tough, huh…'

Then, the Vampire summoned a fog of darkness that made it more difficult for Shane.

As the creature entered the darkness of the fog, its pale skin glimmered, and its crimson eyes shone for a moment...

Shane even noticed a smirk curled upon its lips, revealing elongated fangs that glinted menacingly.

'Not good…'

Shane's heart raced, but he had to focus. Drawing upon his mastery of Aura, he started channeling energy around his body, forming a protective barrier like a thin film of light.

"Your resistance is futile, human Survivor." the Vampire taunted, its voice smooth yet dripping with malice.

Shane smirked back, steadying his breathing. "You picked the wrong fight tonight."

With that, the Vampire lunged forward with blinding speed… Shane's Enhanced Senses and Triple-Enhanced Vision kicked in, sharpening his perception…

Furthermore, Cloud also started assisting him! Even though its dark, his incredibly high perception could tell what was going on inside the dark fog!n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

He could see the muscles of the creature coiling, the intent behind its attack clear as day. Just as the Vampire's clawed hand reached for him, Shane sidestepped, the wind from its passing brushing against his skin.

In an instant, he used his Telekinesis Talent and controlled his Legendary Hatchet!

The weapon soared through the air, cutting a deadly arc toward the Vampire. Enjoy more content from empire

The creature twisted mid-air, narrowly avoiding the blade as it embedded itself into the wall behind it.

"Clever," the Vampire hissed, flicking its gaze toward the embedded hatchet. "But you'll need more than tricks to defeat me!"

Shane felt the adrenaline coursing through him as the Adrenaline Surge continued to pumped him with energy.

His Aura flared, enhancing his physical prowess. He charged forward, fists at the ready, and aimed a powerful punch at the Vampire's midsection. The creature sidestepped again, but Shane anticipated the move. With a swift pivot, he unleashed a roundhouse kick that connected with the Vampire's side, hoping to send it crashing against the brick wall.

However, the Vampire's strength was just too much and he only took back a couple of steps! Nonetheless, Shane was somehow able to fight back even after the Vampire released a powerful aura!

'I can do this…' Shane thought as he gained a bit more confidence.

However, the Vampire recovered swiftly, its eyes narrowing with rage. Although he wasn't hurt, that fact that the Level 30 Survivor could easily keep up with him even though he was weakened had really infuriated him.

It pounced once again, but Shane had already been warned by Cloud!

He concentrated the Aura around him and solidified it into a shielded layer that absorbed the impact of the Vampire's claws. He could feel the force rattle his bones, but he pushed through, using the momentum to grab the creature's wrist.

In an explosive twist, Shane used his Telekinesis to wrench the hatchet from the wall, guiding it back into his hand mid-fight. With a quick flick of his wrist, the hatchet flew toward the Vampire, but this time, it was not merely a weapon; it was an extension of his will.

The Vampire attempted to dodge, but the hatchet curved mid-air, slicing through the air and aiming to cut him in half. It grazed the Vampire's arm, drawing a hiss of pain and a trickle of dark blood. The creature recoiled, fury radiating from its being.

"Your tricks won't save you!" The Vampire said, baring its fangs in a furious growl.

Shane, on the other hand, seized the opportunity. The Aura surrounding him pulsed with energy, enhancing his strength and speed. He charged forward, closing the distance between them in the blink of an eye.

With a series of rapid punches, he struck the Vampire, each blow imbued with the power of his Aura and, of course, his Brawler's Fury was used!

Unfortunately, Shane missed the 6th punch, and the Brawler's Fury was canceled because of it.

The creature retreated, but the Vampire soon realized that Shane was just fast in his hands, but his movements seemed awkward.

Realizing it was outmatched in hand-to-hand combat, the Vampire decided to overwhelm him with his fast movement!

This time, the Vampire was truly like a blur, and every time Shane tried to punch or use his hatchet with his telekinesis talent, he would only hit the air! As long as the Vampire's movement was unpredictable, Shane could easily fail!

'This is just too much!' Shane couldn't help but complain as he realized that the Vampire's Agility was several times higher than him! It appears that the Vampire has also exceeded his body's limit for several times.

'I'm going to die at this rate…' Shane thought as he tried thinking what kind of trick he pulled off to survive this…

'Should I use all my Recruitment Stones and hope that one of them could fight the Vampire? No… Think… There should be something else.' Shane gritted his teeth as he endured the assault of the furious Vampire.

Thanks to his Strength and Vitality with both 500 points, Shane was able to endure a round of beating and only sustain a few injuries… However, he couldn't just get beaten up as he would really die at this rate.

He wanted to use his various skills like Phantasm Rush and Armored Dash, but the Vampire could cancel these skills before they get fully activated!

He was simply too fast!

Just as Shane was about to endure another round of beating, a sudden distortion in the space around them caught the Vampire's attention.
