Chapter 169 Meet With Yuki.
The sun came up and despite Kyle not being a social media person, he got a message from Aiysha informing him of his newfound fame.
Kyle had no idea what she was talking about so he checked online and saw that they had managed to get a picture of his face.
Kyle didn't think too much about this as this was one of those things that would fade over time.
He was going to be on the internet sooner or later either way considering the life he envisioned for himself.
Jane was asleep but Kyle was beginning to wonder if what she needed was a change in environment.
He needed to speak to Ella about moving from that apartment, if they needed financial help he was more than willing to offer that.
Kyle left Jane sleeping, he knew that she had trouble sleeping throughout last night.
He could feel her tossing and turning, this must be because of what he told her.
That or she was pondering how many women he was entertaining but Kyle didn't think too much about this because if it was easy to leave, she would have left.
No woman wanted a man other women didn't want and that was what made Kyle extremely attractive, not just his looks.
Kyle hopped in his car but his phone rang soon after, Kyle saw it was from a name he hadn't heard in quite some time.
"Hello Yuki… What can I do for you?" Kyle asked and the conversation was Yuki asking to meet as she was a representative of Nakamura.
Kyle agreed because this was business-related. Even though he would have preferred for Nakamura to host himself, he understood that he was a busy man.
Yuki chose the venue but Kyle knew he had to remind her that he was the one with the authority, it was a power play.
That was very important because even if she was the representative of Nakamura, she was still just an assistant.
Kyle made the venue his club, this was a play to show them that JPD wasn't the only thing he had under his possession to further reiterate his wealth without having to show them.

Kyle wasn't the face of it so it was unknown who the owner was to the public knowledge.
Yuki arrived there before Kyle, Kyle made her wait for no less than a minute before he arrived.
This not only showed that he respected her time but also etiquette for being punctual.
Yuki was treated well by Nate, who was given the heads-up by Kyle.
He gave her the VVIP treatment and gave her the best of the best.
Yuki was no stranger to trends and knew this place had not only just opened but did so with a bang because people were still talking about it.
She saw Kyle coming in and immediately got to her feet to show her respect.
"Good afternoon Miss Yuki.." Kyle greeted before gesturing for her to have a seat which she did without hesitation.
"Thank you for agreeing to meet with me," Yuki said but Kyle noticed that she hadn't ordered anything.
Despite being the assistant of such a powerful man, Yuki's payment was within the range you would expect from a regular assistant with some bonuses.
"You didn't order anything?" Kyle asked and Yuki tried to play it off like she was waiting for him.
"Don't worry, it is in the house," Kyle said and Yuki raised a brow by this statement because he wasn't in the position to determine this.
Kyle looked over at Nate, there were a few people here but they were all high spenders and the fact that smartphones were allowed meant that the people here might very well be celebrities or on their way to that status.
Nate came over to the table, Yuki thought that Kyle simply was a customer here and due to his wealth, he was naturally given preferential treatment.
"Nate, give Miss Yuki here anything she wants," Kyle instructed him but this wasn't the tone one would use on a bartender but an employee.
Yuki could discern this because she had been present for most of Nakamura's interactions and there was a shift in tone when he addressed employees who worked for him and employees that served him.
Nate looked at her expectantly, waiting for her to list out her order but Yuki already knew that she couldn't drink any alcohol considering this was a business meeting.
Yuki already made a bad first impression, the last thing she needed was to add to it.
She ordered a non-alcoholic energy drink but Kyle knew he had to keep the lines clear with her.
He couldn't treat her like he did a friend nor grant her too many favours.
However, the gesture Kyle had used allowed her to understand that this nightclub might belong to Kyle which means they had grossly miscalculated his wealth.
"I have come under instruction from Mr. Nakamura…" Yuki began, taking a sip from her drink.
Kyle knew she needed it from the way she looked, she resembled a vampire that hadn't eaten for centuries.
"I know, that is why I am. What is it that you need that you couldn't do over the phone? I would hate to think that Mr. Nakamura doesn't value my time," Kyle wasn't pleased with this in particular considering he had plans to start working out at Aiysha's gym.
"I would have done that but Mr. Nakamura was insistent on meeting up with you in person," Yuki insisted.
Kyle could tell by her exhausted face that she would have loved to do this over the phone.
"Very well then," Kyle responded, permitting Yuki to reveal the purpose of this meeting.
"Mr. Nakamura is impressed with your contribution and wishes to deepen your relationship by any means possible," Yuki said but there was something suggestive in her tone.
Kyle knew he couldn't make any assumptions until there was concrete proof to support this.
It was a business meeting, he had heard of such practices before where the women would offer up their bodies to secure deals.
However, Kyle wasn't attracted to Yuki and even if he was, he wouldn't want to touch them under such circumstances.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
"That is correct," Yuki said, leaning in slightly but Kyle sighed because this all but confirmed what he thought but also knew that Yuki must not want to do this to begin with.
He pretended to be oblivious as to what she was attempting.
"I have no problem furthering my relationship with Mr. Nakamura but I'm more interested in seeing him than you," Kyle responded but Yuki leaned back with her eyes slightly squinted.
Kyle had framed it in such a way that made it seem like he was interested in Nakamura.
This would stop Nakamura from sending her but it was also a fun game for Kyle as he was curious to see if Nakamura would come onto him.
Even though he had no interest in men, he knew that this was something that would put Nakamura on guard but this was suggestive.
Yuki couldn't get the context so she couldn't make the connection but backed off because Kyle had shown willingness to deepen their relationship.
Kyle saw the relief in her eyes and knew he made the right call.
She reached for her bag and handed Kyle a gold-plated card, this easily cost tens of thousands but this was just an invitation card.
"Mr. Nakamura also told me to give you this in person, this is one of the main reasons we had to meet in person," Yuki said but this was crazy.
It was a gold-plated invitation card, no wonder she came all the way here.
They couldn't risk it being stolen or someone else gaining access to it.
Kyle checked if there was space for a plus-one but saw nothing, he didn't mind this either way considering he didn't even know what it was about.
It wasn't a meeting and more like a masked party but Kyle knew this was an opportunity to meet high-ranking individuals.
Kyle was making inroads in his climb to the top and Nakamura was going to be the one he stepped on to get to such heights.
The meeting was over with Yuki after they ironed out a few more details and Kyle saw that the date of the meeting was in two days.
That was more than enough time for him to get ready, the moment Yuki left the building.
Nate could tell it was a business meeting but didn't know how to approach Kyle to ask him.
"Finally, some fucking progress…" Kyle thought to himself but his phone vibrated to alert him of a message.
He looked down at him but Kyle noticed it was a picture, more accurately a screenshot from Calista showing the message that she was asking about him.
Kyle had no idea who this was but he permitted Calista to engage them in a conversation so he could figure out who it was.
He was never a social person nor had friends and the people he knew had direct access to him.
Kyle knew that his rise to fame would inevitably bring in leeches that would try to reestablish a connection with him and part of him hoped that this was his father.
