Chapter 135: My Weapons?

Alex knew that the old man was smiling as he said that. He shook his head and spoke, "Old man, I don't want to keep on calling you Old man What's your name." Alex wanted to go back out to the real world again but he had to deal with the old man as well. It seemed like he would be stuck with him for a long time. 

The old man appeared in front of Alex once again. This time, He had on a suit as well. His entire aura seemed to have changed. The old man smiled and bowed in front of Alex, "I forgot about the formalities. I am Hades, your weapon. Well, It's a long story but it's the simplest way to answer the question about who I am  I hope you accept me as your future weapon and adviser, Lord Blessed." 

Alex, slightly taken aback by Hades' words looked in surprise. He nodded and spoke, "I do accept you But I hope you answer more questions of mine." Alex was surprisingly calm even after being so shocked. 

Hades smiled and stood straight, "Kid, I'll answer anything you need. But I won't go into the details of somethings for now Some information can quench your thirst but the aftermath of learning certain things will be harmful as well." He seemed to completely change his attitude and put his arms around Alex. Hades then jumped back and pointed towards the door, telling Alex to enter it. 

Alex nodded and walked closer to the door while he asked his question, "Why did you call me Lord Blessed? And what do you mean by being my adviser?" he was curious.

Hades nodded and jumped towards Alex, turning into a small smoke-like entity until it completely entered Alex's Body. "Hmm, I'm a rather special being attached to Hades. Think of it as if you get the weapon, you get me as an advisor for the user of the weapon. My job is exactly as it sounds, Advise the user of the weapon. If you're confused here, the weapon and I are separate but attached at the same time. We've been attached for so long that I just have complete control over the weapon thus, You can call me hades and refer to me as the weapon. It's simpler this way I can't explain more about myself for now That also means I can't explain why you're the blessed one. But looking at your past, I can say that the one who had the system is considered as the blessed. You're special Alex, in a way. Just focus on getting stronger. All the questions in your mind will be answered if you do so."

Alex nodded, He seemed to be disappointed that he couldn't get the answer to all his questions but Alex shook his head and said to himself, 'It's just the same conclusion, different methods like always I just need to get stronger to get what I need.' He smiled as he opened the door slowly. 

As Alex opened the door, He saw a vast desert in front of him. The warm breeze blew into his face as Alex watched the environment in front of him in a daze. Alex didn't know what to say to think, All he saw was the desert. A certain thought came into Alex's mind that made him feel slightly better, 'I remember that the facility where I was tested was actually in a similar place that means that I'm probably close to the facility!' Alex felt slightly better now.

Alex jumped out of the doors and felt something heavy on his back. Alex looked back and saw that the doors where he jumped down from had disappeared. He then felt his back and looked surprised, "A sword?" Alex felt it was weird that a sword would just suddenly appeared on his back. 

"Ah, I apologize. It seems like I'm not powerful enough to remain in the spirit form in the outside world just yet. My weakened powers are limiting It just chooses a random basic weapon for you. This sword seems good but it isn't you" Hades' voice came from the sword.

Alex nodded, He was slightly shocked by the sword suddenly appearing on his back but he already knew that it was Hades. After a few minutes, Alex felt the sword disappear but he felt something around his body. Alex opened his coat and looked even more shocked now.

"You like it?" Hades smugly spoke as Alex looked at straps around his chest. Two guns attached to the straps. Alex looked like the undercover police he used to see in movies. "This is the most suitable weapon for me? Two handguns?" Alex didn't feel it was the right weapon for him. 

Hades spoke, "It is one of the more suitable ones There is no single suitable weapon for a human This one is just easier to hide within your clothes and is a pretty good overall weapon. Plus, You seem to have a good eye for long ranged combat. Think back to throwing knives You just assumed that it was something possible because of the system but it's just your innate ability. You have good accuracy for a beginner Hell, it's scary how accurate you are. For short ranged combat as well, These guns are special. They have a pointed knife tip that can kill. A certain button on the side that extends the blade making it just long enough to penetrate the hearts of the enemies you will be facing" Hades explained as Alex took out the guy and had a look. 

He pressed a small button on the side and saw a long dark blade extend from beside the barrel. Alex also noticed that the gun grew bigger after he took it out from the straps. "Is that a feature?" He asked.

Hades answered, " Yes, Its so that the guns are practically impossible to see from outside. As soon as you pull it out, It's a lot bigger." He seemed to slightly chuckle when explaining.
