"Do you miss me?" His warm breath tickled Anya's ears, but the woman felt comfortable.

She nodded her head while still burying her face in Aiden's chest. Then she looked up and looked at Aiden with teary eyes, "I'm causing trouble again." She said weakly.

"Hmm..." 

When Aiden walked in, he heard Ben screaming, saying that he found the missing recipe in Anya's bag and asked someone to call the police immediately.

"Aiden, I didn't steal it. I don't know why the recipe was in my bag." Anya hurriedly explained.

"I know." Aiden's voice sounded calm, making Anya feel his calm too. She didn't panic anymore, as long as Aiden was with her. 

"Do you believe in me?" Anya's eyes were sparkling, emitting a bright light.

"What do I tell you when something happens?" Aiden smiled as he looked at Anya.

"Try to stay calm and not panic? I just don't want you to misunderstand me." Anya said quietly.

"You care about my opinion?" Aiden happily asked.

"Of course. How could I not care?" Anya bowed her head shyly even though she didn't do anything wrong, "I'm afraid you won't trust me and don't like me anymore."

"Didn't you say I was wise? How could I not know a little trick like this." Said Aiden while raising his head. He stared at Ben who had shouted to call the police with a cold, deathly look.

Esther who followed Anya immediately intervened, "There is a bit of a misunderstanding in our shop. I didn't intend to bother Mr. Aiden." Esther said calmly.

"A bit of a misunderstanding?" Aiden snorted coldly, "You guys searched Anya's bag and violated her privacy. Is this really just a small misunderstanding?"

Esther chuckled, "Don't be so serious, Mr. Aiden. This is really just a misunderstanding. Last night, Anya worked in my perfume room to prepare the basic ingredients for the perfume. I left the recipe so she could learn it. The manager thinks I lost the recipe. It's just a matter of miscommunication."

Aiden didn't pay attention to Esther's explanation. He looked at Anya who was still in his arms, "I want to hear from you."

After getting caught in Natali's plot and being publicly humiliated by Raisa, Anya realized one thing. If things weren't resolved today, if things weren't properly explained, she would lose her foothold in the perfume world forever. Her good name would be tarnished and maybe, she would not reach her goal of becoming a parfumeur like her mother.

"Anya, I trust you so much that I let you work in my perfume room. Ben has been with me for five years and he's been very loyal. What is happening right now is simply a misunderstanding. I hope you will forgive him." Said Esther.

Anya was uncertain. How could she just forgive Ben? If she let Ben keep calling her a thief and didn't clear things, her career would really be over before it could even begin.

Aiden looked at Anya, stroking her hair when he saw his wife's forehead creased deeply, "No matter what decision you choose, I will always support you. Let me remind you something. Do whatever you want." He said softly.

Aiden would always have Anya's back to help her whenever she needed. If Anya was unable to save herself, Aiden would step in. But he wanted to see Anya in solving this problem. He wanted Anya to learn to defend herself.

Anya freed herself from Aiden's embrace, helped him to sit on the guest sofa and held his hand, "I know you are worried. Let me try to solve it." Anya said firmly.

"Very well." Aiden sat on the guest sofa casually, but his aura seemed to make the room cramped.

Anya walked over to Esther and said, "Miss Esther, I feel like my privacy has been violated. You have CCTV in your office and there must be footage of my bag being searched. If the tape gets out, everyone will think I stole your recipe and the manager searches my bag. Who would want to hire me in the future if that really happens?"

"Anya, I'm going to ask the tape to be deleted and ask Ben to apologize to you." Esther said while glancing at Ben.

The woman knew exactly what Ben was up to, but it was not easy to tell publicly about it. She was not a fool and had been working in this cruel world of business for a long time. How could Anya have the recipe in her bag if she stole it last night? What kind of thief would be that stupid to carry the evidence around?

In addition, Ben had worked for her for five years and had always been loyal to her. She wanted to give Ben a chance to apologize.

However, Ben got it wrong. He didn't understand Esther's gesture and was ungrateful. He said excitedly, "Mrs. Esther, you can't let this thief hang around."

"Looks like the manager believes that I am the thief. This problem will not be resolved with just apologies. I have been slandered!"

Anya looked at Aiden and said in a calm voice, "Today Aiden came to this place. Everyone would think that Mrs. Esther was pressured and defended me because of Aiden's insistence. I can't prove my innocence. Better just call the police. Let them investigate it."

Anya wouldn't let Ben accuse her and remained silent. Natali and Raisa continued to humiliate her, making others feel that she was easy to trick. She must not hide and be afraid in facing all this because if she did, everyone would look down on her and do as they pleased with her. She had to face it bravely.

After saying that, Anya looked at Aiden. The man only nodded, indicating that he agreed.

"Mrs. Esther, let's call the police." Ben also insisted.

Esther felt a headache. She tried to stop this problem from getting too big, but Ben continued to force her to call the police. Apart from that, Aiden was also involved in this matter. She couldn't do anything else.

"Manager, don't you understand that Mrs. Esther is trying hard to defend you? She tries to cover up your mistakes, not mine. I didn't steal it and Mrs. Esther knows it. What do you think would happen if the police got involved and found out who actually stole the recipe?" Anya's words made Ben awake from the drama he'd designed.

The man's eyes widened and stared at Esther in disbelief. Meanwhile, Esther was silent. She didn't know what else to do.

In a few moments, the police arrived at the place. Aiden just leaned lazily on the sofa as if nothing had happened.

"Sir, what should I do?" Harris found out that Aiden was at the mall where Rose Scent was. He immediately picked up Eddy and took him to the shop to meet Aiden.

They arrived at the same time as the police.

"Investigate all the shop employees. Take care of the CCTV footage at Esther's office. If the theft record has been deleted, have someone return it. Before this matter is resolved, close the shop for a while."

Anya did not know that this mall was one of the businesses owned by the Atmajaya family, so Aiden could close the tenants in it at will. She didn't know that her husband was a really that powerful man.

Aiden got up from the sofa and approached Anya, "Let's go home ..."
