" I don't know what do you mean by that Mr Samuel." When Alexis heard him talk so mysteriously, she had an inkling that something big was about to happen. Beside, she already considered herself as the defeated party.

If Samuel was willing to keep her around in his plan and also resolve the imminent crisis of stock fluctuation, she could contribute greatly to her family. It rekindled some hope for her who had already been devastated by several shocks this morning!

On the other hand, Delphina too was curious. He told her few plans last night but nothing concrete other than plan to somehow take Alexis to their side. Before coming here, she didn't know what he was planning but he himself didn't know things would turn out this way.

This was something he planned on spot and from the preliminary reports, he thought there was definitely a way to turn their bad luck to a massive fortune!

" I will explain but first, I want clear answers. Miss Alexis, how many shares do you hold currently? There must be substantial amount considering you had been at it for few months at this point." He had a general idea and could even ask Zero to take a closer look into it but since they were cooperating, he didn't want to cause any distrust by force snooping.

If Jane was around, he would be able to do it without other party even knowing about it. But his team was still on holiday and he didn't want to disturb them especially her, Steve reported that they were planning to go to their honeymoon.

It's been two years since they got married, if someone knew that they were only going on their honeymoon this late they would label Samuel as a cruel boss who was exploiting his employees!

In turn it was complete opposite, they always demanded to follow him like watchdogs, he had no choice but to give up after few repeated confrontations. Their loyalty was unmatched which was both a blessing and a curse.

" Probably about six percent. I will be able to gather more if I press the team today but as you all know these shares are not infinite. If we swallow everything indiscriminately, the outstanding shares in the market would decline which would be a disaster." She didn't hide it, there was nothing more for her to gain from hiding such things.

Samuel nodded, it wouldn't be a issue for normal investors or even some hedge funds but Samuel was way above these people with massive amount of liquidity sitting in his firm's account. If he carelessly made a move, it could either alarm other investors that a 'whale' had entered the market or in worst care of them holding on to their shares for profit may cause the regular trading to be diminish.

Small penny stocks often face such problem, they are mainly illiquid stock, these type of stocks doesn't mean there are not enough shares in float. Rather it means that there are few buyers and sellers so the number of shares traded each day is very low. What happens is the stock just sits at a price without any buyers buying or sellers selling?

it would indicate illiquidity and people tend to avoid illiquid stocks.

He retracted his mind from thinking about such scenarios, Abigail was a professional much less the people that worked under her. These common things would surely be avoided by them, he had a strong trust in them in this regard.

" Haha, sure enough, it's almost perfect. The old fox really planned a good game for everyone." Samuel chuckled when he thought about it.

" What? Why are you laughing all of a sudden? You know this mysterious crap doesn't suit you." Delphina said in a dissatisfied tone. It stems from her not knowing what this man was thinking which was a unpleasant thing for her to encounter after all she always considered herself to be the smart one in the room.

" Even so I will not tell you. Why would I spoil such a fun little event? Your father may have succeeded but it's his bad luck that he encounter a variable." Samuel smiled triumphantly and took a sip of the coffee. He looked back to see the staff interacting with Elise and was assured before he turned toward the ladies again.

" You mean the variable is you." Delphina rolled her eyes. How big was this man ego? She could tell!

" Forget about it. Three of us together could ruin his plan. By the way, how many shares do you hold? Counting yours along with your supporters, it must be a lot right?" He asked.

" Thirty percent. A little more if I am able to convince some small shareholders but so far they are trying to be neutral." She calculated a little before answering, after all she had been running around trying to please these small fish because larger ones had already made their mind.

" Good, My firm Achilles has about eleven percent in total. They really riled up their operation these past few days." Samuel's number startled Alexis once more.

"Impossible! We have been monitoring the market closely. I know that someone hold four percent shares even if we don't who was behind it, there is little chance that the number would be so skewered!" Alexis exclaimed.

" That's because we have been covertly working with few other firms. There are many big and small investors in the market. After a little push they gladly hand over shares in their hand at a premium price. Most of them are pessimistic about the future of the Group because they knew what type of person Alan is.

They believe that shares would fall sharply when he comes into power." Samuel said with a smile. It wasn't hard to guess their intentions, Alan was famous in upper circles.

Without his father, the Group might already experience a severe downturn. They were their pros and cons and happen to make the decision which favored him. After all investing had always been a risky business.

" That means that you have been in partnership for?" Alexis knew Samuel wouldn't lie to her at this time. She was ashamed that she had to learn about it through him personally. They really did a good job with confidentiality.

" Well, it should be few months. I don't know the exact date." Samuel shrugged. They were about to be partners, no need to hide it.

" Oh my god! I didn't even know anything! If I knew about it, I would never be willing to enter such a messy succession!" She was dumbfounded, from her understanding, Bernard would surely knew about it but he never told her anything waiting for her to be devoured!
