Chapter 114: Landers's full power!

Landers started to unleash his full power while the majority of the rabbits' army was focusing on Felix trying to take him down due to their misconception about Landers's strength.

Landers' eyes started to morph from the normal human-looking eyes into feline eyes as his lion features started to get more accentuated.

His short lion ears started to lengthen a bit and so did his tail.

His deep blue aura started to revolve around him as it intensified in power, the field around him that was quickly killing rabbits started to enlarge engulfing more and more rabbits.

This attracted the attention of the army of rabbits as they realized that they misjudged Felix as their leader.

While Felix was fast strong and durable his aura was only white which showed that he wasn't a high ranking member of the army at first the rabbits were puzzled but they still attacked him with all they got as he cut into them directly with his whole strength, they were also keeping an eye on Lindo and Manitola as they danced around the battlefield stunning and helping the Lion army to defend themselves.

They were a big problem on the battlefield for the rabbits.

However, Lindo was very fast and the fact that if they got near Manitola they would practically lose their minds which were already pretty weak, to begin with, made them unable to deal with them they could only helplessly get harassed and die and the only thing they could do was push with their numerical advantage.

Landers's power up didn't go unnoticed as the rabbits that were sieging Felix started to run towards Landers however Felix wouldn't let them go so easily.

His lightning armor started to flicker around his body as his speed increased once more the only things left behind where he was before were some lightning sparks and surrounding him were only the decapitated bodies of his enemies, he flickered from patch to patch of rabbits as he helped the common soldiers to kill the rabbits that were fighting them head-on.

Landers finished powering up as the field around him turned every person that wasn't someone from his army into a pancake, fortunately, he could properly control the range and the power of the field as it didn't affect his allies at all, unlike Bizkier's power.

Landers shouted to the sky again as he started to rampage through the army of the fearless rabbits, who even though we're getting annihilated they just didn't seem to want to retreat, their eyes were scarlet as even if they became limbless they would do their best to drag some lions down with them, even if their guts were sticking out of their stomachs they would bite their enemies to their deaths with their long incisor teeth.

They were crazy as they fought regardless of their safety or wellbeing, this way a lot of foot soldiers from the Lion army met their end, unfortunately.

However the self-destructing way of fighting quickly started to raze down the number of the rabbits, they attacked with around 300,000 in number but they weren't even half remaining after fighting for around 3 hours.

While the Lions also lost around 20,000 people the death difference between the two armies was enormous!

Felix was the one with the highest kill count with Landers just a little behind him, Lindo and Manitola were more supporting units so they didn't kill as many people.

Felix's eyes were almost spewing fire as he was drenched in blood from head to toes, he had killed so many people that he had lost count and he got hungry midway, the moment that happened he jumped up on the head of a live rabbit soldier and bit down on his head, even though he was way smaller than him he gobbled down one way before he started to munch on his head until the head disappeared.

After that he got focused on by the remaining rabbits as they glared at Felix, it seemed that while they would be able to take death they wouldn't want their comrades to be eaten.

But strange changes started to happen in Felix's body after he ate the rabbits' head, it was obvious that the rabbit's body was filled with the blood from the altar that he absorbed as well, but now that he took another dosage from a different storage place he could feel that his hind legs were slowly starting to itch... his body was somehow improving again but only his hind legs were getting relatively stronger.

Felix immediately remembered Shima's words, on how he was special and how his specialness would be able to create the ultimate warrior of it would have been harvested, Aaltarox also said that him eating would increase his bodily strength and it was one of the most basic interdimensional abilities someone like him could get... 

Up till now, he didn't think hard about this ability but now he realized that he needed to eat different beings to increase his bodily strength further beyond the limits imposed on his body by his DNA.

He was basically evolving every time he ingested some DNA from other beings, his ability would take the DNA and take the better parts and fuse it with himself.

Felix roared to the sky as his speed increased again to the point that no matter how they squinted or tried to sense his location they wouldn't be able to find him anymore, only Landers could see him appearing and disappearing around as if he was teleporting.

Felix continued to eat the heads of the rabbits that he slew until he felt that his hind legs couldn't get stronger anymore.

At this point, only 10,000 rabbits were left but 50,000 out of the 150,000 the lion troops also died.

Landers finally decided to end everything as he shouted towards his remaining troops:

"RETREAT, I SHALL FINISH THIS HERE AND NOW!"

While he wanted to interrogate those people that attacked them it was most likely that they wouldn't tell him anything from the state of their minds, their actions spoke for themselves and it would be rather exhausting to torture people with such strong bodies, as for psychological torture, Landers knew that these rabbits were very, very, very loyal to whoever sent them here so they most likely wouldn't spill the beans no matter what he did to them.

The lion troops started to run retreating behind Landers, Felix jumped away from the crowd of Rabbits as they tried to follow him and unleash their ultimate attacks, however, Manitola jumped down from Lindo's back as he retreated which made him falter as he said:

"Wait! What are you doing?"

Manitola smiled at him cheekily as she said:

"I'm going to help Landers, don't worry I won't get near them, I just need to be a little bit freer."

Manitola closed her eyes as she started to do some hand seals, pink hex energy started to surround her whole body like a barrier which slowly started to extend and expand creating a gigantic field that she threw away from her directly to the 10,000 troops which were trying to chase Felix.

The troops were engulfed by the gigantic field making them halt as their eyes glazed over and they looked like fools, saliva even dripped from their mouths as they stood there.

Manitola breathed heavily as she fell backward, Lindo caught her and kept her in his embrace as Landers nodded at the two.

He jumped into the air starting to hover there, his hands started to move haphazardly while Hex energy started to accumulate in front of him in the form of a crimson ball.

The ball increased until it was 2 meters in height and 1 meter in width, then Landers put both of his hands forward pushing the ball from behind throwing it directly towards the unmoving rabbits.

The crimson ball moved at pretty quick speeds at it struck the whole 10,000 troops carbonizing them until nothing remained behind leaving a gigantic black crater on the ground and creating a subsequent hole as the ground broke showing the tunnels that the rabbits dug to get here.

Landers almost fell from the sky as he clutched his chest, he was exhausted and out of hex energy after that last attack, they have fought for almost 2 days continuously without rest and his energy was fully sapped, the captain that was meant to look over the village had arrived a few hours ago and helped them in the fight but he didn't make much of a difference.

He tried to call for reinforcements but there was no opportunity for that to happen.

Landers slowly floated to the ground as he grimaced at his lack of energy, there weren't many wounds on his body and he was already taking a pill to heal them but restoring his energy will take some time, time that he could have used to take over more villages.

There was nothing he could do now, they already antagonized the rabbit empire and while they killed a lot of their troops it was unknown how many of them the enemy still had, he had to do his best to recover his energy but first, he needed to call for some reinforcements from back home!

The number of troops they currently had on the continent wasn't enough if they were going to deal with the whole army of the rabbit empire, they had to get the help of the human tribe in this situation as they already cut ties with the Haron and Balton continent alliance. Landers sighed... things weren't really looking good for them at the moment.
