Chapter 183: Dangerous battle or not?
Chapter 183: Dangerous battle or not?
Reylin approached his lion queen and helped her with her hair.
He smiled widely at her, then the couple exchanged deep gazes, but just for a second. The fact that Reylin's brother was fighting with Nerven Race was important, to say nothing, of the third unknown family finally making an appearance in their lives.
That was precisely why the couple spent seconds with each other. They ordered and threatened the lazy guy to show the way toward his brother.
Using his unknown power, the slow zone, the lazy guy led the couple toward the location of his brother.
Of course, the couple left the dungeon already, "Lioness! The Queen Of Liones!"
He was relieved that Aria had done the dungeon. Even though Reylin's presence alleviated some of his worries, he still wanted her to succeed. Now, the lion ghost stared at the human whose race changed into theirs!
That messy hair was beautiful. If ghosts could cry, The Lion Ghost would've been already letting out tears from excitement. That was an impressive mane!
Of course, Reylin was the only one who could hold and pull that mane.
As Lioness' tail flapped, Lion Ghost froze and whispered, "Cute."
Fortunately, no one heard him, or a particular dragon would poke the ghost's eyes.
Speaking of the dragon, Reylin glanced at the ghost and said, "We are done. Still, we must find a fucker hiding somewhere around here. You go back and tell the news to your Lion King."
"S-Sure!" Stuttering from sudden news, the lion ghost nodded and turned heels.
He didn't even have time to question the lazy guy's appearance and how that man smelled with pungent dark matter mana!
Believing in Reylin and The Lioness Queen, the ghost finally disappeared back to the surface. On the other hand, the lazy guy led two unique players toward the darkness.
Reylin commented, "Faster! And you better not try to throw us into the ocean."
"I won't..." The lazy guy languorously replied, "We have learned a lot about the ocean and hidden dungeons in the world at the bottom. We know how to move through them..."
Aria crossed her arms, "He is suspiciously too honest."
"Tsk... If not for him, I wouldn't know about one of my brother's battles... We gotta believe and fight if need be," Reylin clicked his tongue and followed the lazy guy.
At last, the darkness rippled. Bright and white circles expanded, revealing the unknown teleport method.
That teleport method was only available due to the understanding of the world at the bottom. It was simple and didn't require much knowledge about teleports. However, Reylin would gladly take all knowledge.
He sneered behind the lazy guy, then stepped after him to soak as much experience as possible.
Lioness was naturally next to him, and the couple got straight teleported to the dangerous battle!
-
It was Crown William's time!
The third son from the Crown family engaged in a heated battle against the third, unknown to him, of course, family! It was Bom's first and royal descendant, the future king and undoubtedly strongest prince after his father, Prince Drwin.
"Hahaha! Are you running away from me, Royal Prince?" Crown William sneered as he clenched his spear.
He treated it like a javelin and threw it straight at Prince Drwin!
His opponent didn't even dare to face that weapon head-on. He conjured a few dark balls, then aligned them in a row before himself.
The powerful spear clashed with those balls, and it tore through them all! However, the explosions from all the dark balls swallowed the spear and shattered it in response.
Prince Drwin bit his lips, "Absurd! How can you keep bringing out this much power?!"
The power he talked about was naturally the critical strike! Humans, or better, players, could critically strike others. Crit would usually be when one had overwhelming strength, secret technique, or slashed the vital points.
But that was in 'the normal world'.
The system blessed players with critical strike chances. They would bring out stronger attacks despite not satisfying any of the abovementioned criteria.
There was a trick to it, however.
All races never used their 100% power. Their bodies held reserves, be it for breathing, regeneration, or moving. Many of those reserves were deeply hidden, and people would be able to bring them out in a dire time!
Crown William was different.
He always fought on 100% or even more!
He also regenerated reserves alongside other energies!
Out of all people, including players and his brother, Crimson Dragon, William had the strongest physical attack due to his innate ability!
When Prince Drwin's voice resounded, William smiled widely. He took out another weapon while his mermaids chanted and sang his melody for him, "You follow your father's steps and use his power. It means you don't wear the crown, little prince!"
William took out the perfect weapon for long-distance attacks, which was a bow, "We have a beautiful melody. Now, we need a dog... I mean, dancer."
Pulling the bowstring behind, William aimed his strongest technique at his arrow and pointed it at Prince Drwin. The bow flashed with unique rainbow colors, then the arrow sucked the bow's power, getting a similar luster.
At last, the arrow shot.
A bright line flashed in an instant as the arrow's speed overwhelmed the Nerven Race. That arrow deeply lodged within the man's shoulder, taking him down.
Thrashing with pain, Prince Drwin howled from pain until a familiar voice reached him from behind, "Eldest Brother... I see you are wounded..."
"Half-breed?! Y-You moron! You brought enemies to me?!" Prince Drwin's pain stopped, at least he stopped feeling pain, as shock bloomed in his heart due to the stupid half-breed brother drawing more enemies.
"Uhh... Yeah, I did it... They threatened me... And this is Crimson Dragon, so you can beat him, right? You said you could," Half-breed replied lazily.
It was indeed the lazy guy.
Behind him, Reylin and Lioness smirked.
Crown Wiliam glanced at them, froze at Aria's change, blinking his eyes, then his expression lit up, "I see... Sister-in-law took the first step toward the race change. Hi guys! Leave him to me!"
