Infinite Potential System

Chapter 381 Say Goodbye, Riyald Ascends!

"You should be able to Ascend here, Master. I've already checked with a special Technique, and I think this is a safe spot." William said as he fiddled with a red and gold Space Ring the size of his thumb.

He didn't have any space left in the Starmetal Plates at his sides, so William returned to his old method of looping the rings on a necklace. Once he returned to the Gravitas Ruins, William would offload some of the less useful Space Rings into his storage area.

"Really? Well, alright then." Riyald said before allowing his soul to start changing on its own. The process would take a few minutes, so the old man used the extra time to speak to his Disciple.

"My dear Disciple William, I thoroughly enjoyed teaching you. In such a short amount of time, you've grown from a talented youth with a knack for getting into trouble to a monstrous superpower that no Continent dares to offend.

It all happened so quickly that I don't even know if my involvement had a serious impact or not. Perhaps you would have grown just as much without me..." Riyald looked down in shame as he said the last bit of words.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"That's not true, Master. You've done more than you know." William replied earnestly. Without the dozens of treasures and the Potential Points earned for completing Riyald's Trials, William probably wouldn't have nearly as much combat strength as he did now.

Being able to Cultivate safely in the Gravitas Ruins was the greatest security that allowed William to reach the peak of the World. If he had left the Ruins after the allotted period, William would have died at the hands of the Tribulation Transcendence Cultivators immediately afterwards.

If Flame Dragon Uri hadn't helped him escape his enslavement, William might have ended up working for Retribution for the rest of his life. He might have been used as cannon fodder during a battle or forced to absorb more World Cores for the benefit of the organization.

It wasn't just William's safety that was guaranteed by Riyald's mentorship. He had also taught William so much about the Elements that many were automatically upgraded to B-Rank a long time ago. Considering Riyald only had a few Elemental Affinities, having so much knowledge about the others was very impressive.

Riyald felt touched by William's words, but he didn't shed a tear like he thought he would. Instead, Riyald smiled and allowed his soul to complete its transformation, a massive silver-golden portal appearing in the sky that elevated his entire body automatically.

Even if Riyald had an X-Rank Gravity Element like William, there was no escaping the pull of this force. It was as if the Heavens were telling Riyald "Up" and simply that.

"Master, it's dangerous up there, be careful. I'll help you however I can." William said as he controlled the Array Puppets to fly alongside Riyald.

Riyald nodded and looked at the Array Puppets following him. As an Array Master at the Complete level himself, Riyald naturally understood the intent behind William's actions. He looked at the Array Puppet that housed the Greater Beast Core he had once given out, surprised to see that his Disciple had surpassed him in yet another aspect.

"So you've learned the mythical Tier 6 Arrays, thousands of years ahead of your own Master... It seems I have nothing left to teach you." Riyald sighed as he looked to the sky. It was time for the young ones to take over, he was getting old.

"If something happens to these things, I'll hold onto them. Trace their aura and find your Master." Riyald said as his body phased into the portal as if they were becoming one.

The Array Puppets followed close behind, but the fluctuations of the closing Ascension Portal caused slight cracks to form on the bodies of the seven weaker Array Puppets. Only the Greater Puppet was left unharmed.

William sensed his control over the seven puppets weaken until they could no longer be sensed, switching his perspective to that of the Greater Puppet.

Through its eyes, William could see a myriad of colors surrounding Riyald as he traveled through the portal, his body becoming younger while he even grew a few inches. While the old man was still quite short, William could now see a slight bulge of muscle on his arms and legs, as if he had suddenly become a Nascent Soul level body Cultivator.

At the same time, a special type of Spirit Qi seemed to enter Riyald's body, pushing his Cultivation to the 6th stage of the Tribulation Transcendence Realm without forcing him to undergo any of the usual Tribulations.

He still wasn't at the peak, but William was a little more confident in his Master's survival. He controlled the other seven Array Puppets with the main Puppet to maintain close proximity and keep them from becoming separated during the travel, but William's connection was becoming fuzzy and his control over the Array Puppets was reduced by around twenty percent.

When Riyald landed in the Ascended Realms, he stared in awe at his surroundings, but William's Array Puppets could only see in black and white, and the view was incredibly fuzzy. He could only barely make out the landscape, which seemed to be tall rocky spires that stretched as far as the eye could see.

It was as if Riyald and the Puppets had landed on a giant sea urchin made of stone. They moved around and explored their surroundings, but it wasn't long before William's Array Puppets sensed a threatening presence explore from afar.

The connection between William and his Array Puppets was cut off completely at that moment, but he could sense that the portion of his soul was still active, meaning the Greater Array Puppet could still move based on his orders.

Damn, I really wanted to see more of the Ascended Realms. Hopefully the Array Puppets can protect Master... William thought to himself as he flew in a certain direction.

Now that his Master had Ascended and he had discovered the true reason for the dragons' disappearance, it was time to go back to Uri. Instead of making a portal directly to Uri, William took it easy and contemplated his divination.

Where is Celestine I wonder... If it's my only hope, it must be in the Ascended Realms, right? William pondered.

His thoughts were interrupted by a bright flash of golden light. The Superior Tribulation around him was dispersed by an unknown force as language akin to a higher power descended from above.

"William, deliver your Beast to me or taste my divine intervention!" the voice covered the entire World. Stay updated with empire

From the Dragon Continent in the Northwest to the Velos Continent in the far West, to the Arcturis Continent in the Southwest, every Magical Beast, Cultivator, and non-Cultivator heard these words. Those who didn't know William were incredibly afraid and confused, while those familiar with the name became worried.

"Who are you?" William amplified his voice with the X-Rank Sound Element, covering most of the World with his voice, but not quite at the same level as this unknown higher power.

"Weaklings like you can only hope to record my name in legends. My name is Juhi. Deliver your Beast or suffer!"
