MARVEL: GAME MAKER SYSTEM

Chapter 78: I am Iron Man!

[Woah, look how realistic the armor is!]

[Wow, it looks like Iron Man really is there!]

[Bro, how did Notch manage to make such a realistic game?]

[…]

Audiences were shocked when they saw how realistic Iron Man's armor was flying from afar.

Not only was the audience shocked to see this, Tony Stark himself was shocked as well.

As the creator of the armor, he could see that this version of the armor in Fortnite was indeed a perfect replica of his Mark III armor.

"Damn, the developer of this game is so shameless…" Tony complained in frustration as he sat on the back of Notch's motorcycle and looked at the Mark III they were getting closer and closer.

Notch heard that and just smiled with the corner of his mouth. "If I'm not mistaken, they intend to get in touch with the creator of the armor to pay a part of the Royalties that this generates in profit for the game."

Was this really Alex's idea, did he just use Iron Man's armor so he could generate Hype for the game, as for the money? For Alex who had over a billion dollars in the account, he didn't have to worry about it anymore.

Not to mention that he could buy whatever he wanted just using GP, as the more mundane things weren't that expensive.

It wouldn't be worth it for him to befriend Iron Man when he could just give a large amount of money for the use of the armor's image, making both of them happy.

Even if Tony was one of the richest people in the world, with a few hundred million dollars more in his bank account he could happily make other armors.

But Tony was quite surprised to hear that.

"Really? Because it looks like it's not possible to contact the creators of this game." He tried to find out something.

Notch just shook his head. "Really, if the creator of Minecraft and Fortnite doesn't want to be found, it will be mission impossible to get any information. But if he wants to, it's not a problem."

Tony had to admit that this man was right, the things this Mojang could do were very magical, not only could it take the player's consciousness into a virtual world, it could also bring things from the virtual world into the real world, like the capes of the players, or the golden apples.

Unfortunately for Tony, his gaze was too focused on the sky, on the flying armor, since if he looked down, he would see that on the red cape of the player riding the motorcycle in front of him, there was the golden Mojang logo.

When they finally got close enough, Notch stopped the bike and got off, leaving Tony confused.

"We're still a little way off, won't he run away?" Tony asked.

Notch just shook his head. "Have you ever seen Iron Man run away?"

This phrase from Notch made a proud smile appear on Tony's face, finally feeling that this annoying man had said something useful, which made Tony's impression of Notch improve a little.

Without explaining too much, Notch took his gun and pointed it at Iron Man.

Bang!

Notch's sniper rifle made a very loud noise, and the flash of ammunition hit Iron Man's armor a second later, causing an HP bar to appear above the flying armor's head.

As soon as the shot landed, Iron Man looked to where he was hit and turned towards them for a second, before starting to fly at high speed and pointing his hands at the two.

Pew, Pew

Lasers began to come out of Iron Man's hands aiming at Notch and Tony who were in sight, which made Tony run and hide, while Notch took the magical BluePrint and started building a turret around him, to give protection while shooting.

Tony was shocked to see how Notch had built a brick house in a few seconds and felt insecure, since while Notch was protected in that house, he was just behind a tree, much more exposed.

Notch was editing the build all the time to have protection when he needed it and to be able to fire when his guns were loaded.

[Wow, so you can use the game's buildings like this!]

[My god, Notch built a building in a few seconds, it's like he had the best cover for a battle in his pocket!]

[Seeing the comparison between how well the game creator and ordinary players use building in battle, it's clear that he already made this building system with the purpose of serving as a mobile fortress.]

[I don't think anyone could think of doing something like that in the tutorial, right? The streamers I've watched at most have made some ramps to protect themselves, but no one has made a house like Notch.]

[…]

The speed that Iron Man's life was descending was high, but not enough.

In a short time he got close to Notch and Tony and his shots got even faster.

With so many lasers fired, Notch was safe, but Tony who was running felt that this was unfair, why was Iron Man focusing on Iron Man?!

"Hey, why don't you build it too?" Tony heard Notch's voice on his ear communicator and was startled.

'Yes, I can build too, why didn't I think of that before?' Tony was quick to switch the gun in his hand to the magical BluePrint, and without changing the material he started desperately putting wooden walls around him, and then switched to floors and filled in the roof, finally feeling safe.

But to the players' surprise, when Iron Man saw that the two players were protected inside their buildings, a small compartment popped up on the armor's shoulder.

A lot of people on the livestream didn't pay much attention to this little compartment, but when Tony saw it coming up he was shocked.

"Holy shit!" He screamed as he tried to get out of the wooden house he made, but he put so many layers of wooden walls around it and he didn't have enough practice to be able to edit it fast enough, so he was trapped inside the building for a few seconds, desperately trying to get out of there.

Meanwhile, Notch just opened a door in the 2-story tower he made and jumped in as he ran away, already knowing what was going to happen, as did Tony.

Livestream's audience was confused. What was that little thing that opened on Iron Man's shoulder that made Tony and Notch so desperate to get away?

Since they were watching the livestream through a screen, it was difficult to see as many details as if they were there in person.

But soon the answer came to them.

Swoosh

Two things that looked like small pens started flying towards Notch and Tony's buildings.

Hearing the noise of the rocket, Tony became even more desperate as he tried to leave, but his desperation got in the way of editing the walls he made to the point that he gave up, took the pickaxe and tried to break it with his hands.

Unfortunately time was not enough for Tony, who finally felt the explosion.

Boooom!

A huge explosion completely destroyed Tony's building, sending his body flying several meters and causing a message to appear on his screen.

[You died to Iron Man.]

Tony: BUT I AM THE IRON MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
