Chapter 3: Failed Indoctrination
Chapter 3: Failed Indoctrination

Three Years Later
Word to the wise, if you ever want to try and make someone truly loyal to your weird neonazi cult... don't torture their mind and body for three fucking years straight under the guise of making them 'better'. Three years of constant exercises, hand-to-hand training, weapons training, enhanced torture training, and lessons on what a great man Red Skull really was deep down.
Every second my hatred and drive to kill these fucking people grew day by day. And it only got worst when two years in, Tony took over my training.
"Repeat,it," Tony ordered while coldly staring at the small eight-year-old boy strapped to the metal chair.
"Hail, Hydra! Immortal Hydra! We shall never be destroyed! Cut off one head, two more shall take its place! We serve none but the Masteras the world shall soon serve us! Hail Hydra!" I screamed out, my voice raspy as pain and fatigue wrecked me.
Tony pushes a button on the remote in his hand and a small current of electricity traveled through the chair.
""AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGH!" I shrieked as the current hit my body, not enough to kill me but definitely enough to hurt.
"Again," Tony ordered.
I glared at the man. I wanted to lash out at him but knew from experience that he had no qualms about continuing this drill until I complied.
I yelled through gritted teeth, "Hail, Hydra! Immortal Hydra! We shall never be destroyed! Cut off one head, two more shall take its place! We serve none but the Masteras the world shall soon serve us! Hail Hydra!"

"Why do you always have to antagonize him during training? You know it'll just make it worse for you, right?" Jack, my foster brother asked as we rounded another lap of the obstacle course.
I glanced at the plain-faced boy, once again thinking that for someone older and who went through the same hellish training as Jeanne and me, the guy was kinda a bitch.
"Cause if I don't, the fucker will think he's winning," I answered while avoiding a hidden concussion mine buried in the ground.
Jack shook his head, "He is winning tho, isn't he? You still do what he wants in the end. And who is teaching you these bad words?"
We climbed up the midsize rock wall while avoiding the fake rocks used to trip us up. "It's a matter of pride, you wouldn't get it."
The older boy turned to respond but he grabbed one of the fake rocks and ended up falling hard on his back to the ground.
I glanced down but continued, ignoring the crying of the older boy. Tony met me at the finish line and I could have sworn I saw a small spark of respect form in the man's eyes at seeing me be the first to complete the course.
But instead of praise he just nodded and coldly ordered, "Get some rest, tomorrow we start firearm training."

Sitting on my bed in my small room in the house, I tried to think of a way out of my current situation. But try as I might, I knew that there was no escaping. Tony was obviously training us to be elite Hydra soldiers and I knew Hydra would not let an asset it spent time and money on out of its sight for one second.
"Fuck!" I yelled out in frustration. As long as I was powerless, I would be just another pawn for them to use and discard whenever they want. Remembering the original Crossbones mutilation and inevitable death, I knew I didn't want my story to end that way.
I let out a sigh, knowing that in order to make my own choices in this universe I needed power. And right now, Tony was a great if not painful stepping stone towards my goal. So yeah, I guess for the time being...Hail Hydra.

A/N: Hey everyone back again with another chapter! Sorry for all the time skips but I want to get the MC to an appropriate age before he starts mixing it up with gods and aliens. What did you think? Do you like where the story is going? Any improvements? Let me know in the comments and thanks for reading!
