Chapter 118: Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu

With Minato Namikaze present, the group quickly arrived at the Leaf Village. Upon reaching Konoha, they didn't take any rest and headed straight for the Hokage's office.

It wasn't just because they had successfully completed the crucial mission of destroying the Kannabi Bridge and needed to report to the Hokage, but more importantly, because Obito had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. In fact, the awakening of the Mangekyō Sharingan was even more significant than the mission itself.

To the uninformed villagers, the Third Hokage was the strongest Hokage in history. However, to the higher-ups, the strongest Hokage was always the First Hokage, whose mastery of Wood Release gave him the power to destroy the world. The only person to wield a power on the same level as his was Uchiha Madara, whose primary strength came from the Mangekyō Sharingan.

The power of these two was so great that they could flatten the entire ninja world in just a few days!

Now, with the Mangekyō Sharingan appearing once again, it meant that a new Kage-level warrior had emerged from the Uchiha clan. The group soon arrived at the Hokage's office. Upon seeing them return safely, Hiruzen Sarutobi's eyes lit up, though he remained composed and said, "Welcome back. It seems your mission was successful."

When Hiruzen learned that the Kannabi Bridge had been successfully destroyed, delaying the Iwa ninjas' advance, a smile finally appeared on his face. The pressure from Iwa would be greatly reduced, significantly increasing Konoha's chances of victory.

He glanced at Minato, noticing that he seemed hesitant to speak, and jokingly said, "Now that the mission is over, you all deserve a few days off. Spend some time with Kushina—she nearly tore apart my office while you were gone."

Normally, Minato would have been delighted to hear about a few days of rest, but today he wasn't in the mood. After a brief pause, he addressed the smiling Hiruzen, saying, "Lord Hokage, Obito... he has awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan!"

"Yes, he's awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, that's good news..." Clatter. The sound of Hiruzen's pipe dropping to the floor echoed through the room, followed by his shocked exclamation, "What?!"

Compared to the still-young Minato, Hiruzen understood much better what it meant for a Uchiha to awaken the Mangekyō at this point in time.

He quickly turned to Obito, who met his gaze with a bright smile, his eyes slightly narrowed. Within his crimson eyes, a shuriken-like pattern spun, emitting an eerie and ominous aura.

Hiruzen immediately recognized it as the Mangekyō Sharingan. He had once seen Uchiha Madara's Mangekyō, and while the patterns in their eyes were different, the strange, powerful energy emanating from "Obito's" eyes was unmistakably that of the Mangekyō.

Taking a deep breath, Hiruzen quickly formulated a plan and, after a moment, smiled at Alex.

"Obito, your Sharingan is a Mangekyō Sharingan. When it awakens, each eye should possess a unique ability. What are your abilities?"

Alex's smile widened. "The ability of my left eye is a slash attack, and my right eye has the power of healing..."

Before he could finish speaking, Rin excitedly interjected, "Obito's abilities are amazing! His healing power can instantly heal life-threatening injuries, something even Lady Tsunade can't do!"

Kakashi also nodded deeply, unaware of the political implications, as both he and Rin were trying to secure the best treatment for their comrade.

Hiruzen's pupils contracted. Moments ago, he had even considered the idea of keeping Obito in the village and taking control of him to seize his Mangekyō. After all, the Mangekyō Sharingan was too powerful to let the Uchiha clan possess it.

Hearing this news only made the idea more tempting, but after weighing various factors, he decided to abandon the thought.

First, Minato was Obito's teacher, and given Minato's personality, if he discovered any attempt to take Obito's eyes, he would certainly oppose it, even to the point of Kushina stepping in.

Secondly, Obito's personality was different from the typical Uchiha, more akin to Uchiha Kagami's line, meaning he likely wouldn't side with the rest of the Uchiha clan.

"Other than us, no one else should know."

Only then did Hiruzen Sarutobi make his decision and told the four of them, "The matter of Obito awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan is classified as top secret. No one else is allowed to know about this!"

"Understood!" they all replied.

Minato let out a sigh of relief. Things hadn't reached the worst possible outcome. If the Third Hokage had tried to control Alex, as his teacher, Minato would have definitely intervened.

This was his ninja way!

As soon as the group stepped out of the Hokage's office, they saw a figure standing outside the door. The person cast a cold glance at "Obito" before pushing open the office door and walking inside.

Danzo entered the office, his expression cold as he looked at his old friend, and said in a harsh tone, "I overheard. Uchiha Obito has awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. That power must not fall into the hands of the evil Uchiha clan. Hand over that Uchiha brat to me, and I will take care of everything!"

Hiruzen Sarutobi, of course, disagreed. He warned Danzo, "That's not going to happen. You are not to interfere with anything related to Obito. I have my own plans!"

Danzo looked at Hiruzen with disappointment. He couldn't tell when his old friend had become so soft.

"Hiruzen, you're too weak. If you let Obito return to the Uchiha clan, it will only lead to endless trouble!"

Hiruzen didn't bother to argue further. He coldly stared at Danzo and said, "Danzo, I am the Hokage."

Danzo had no response. He spun around and walked out of the office, coldly saying as he left, "Hiruzen, you'll regret this." (Bromance moments)

Outside the Hokage Tower, Alex observed the entire scene. He hadn't expected that, upon arriving in Konoha, he would witness the classic scene of "you'll regret it."

Well, Danzo was now useless

Ignoring the faint presence of Root ninjas tailing him, Alex chatted casually with Minato and the others while using his Six Eyes to scan the entire village.

In no time, Alex found what he was looking for—the Scroll of Seals.

The Scroll of Seals contained many forbidden techniques, but none of the powerful techniques were of much use to Alex. He was only interested in one thing from the scroll: the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique

The Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, invented by Tobirama Senju, allowed the user to create thousands of clones at once. Due to its massive chakra consumption, which could even threaten the user's life, it was classified as a forbidden jutsu. However, this limitation didn't affect Alex at all. Even if he created tens of millions of clones, the chakra consumption wouldn't be significant.

The reason Alex was interested in the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique was primarily because when the clones are dispelled, the user gains the memories of the clones. He wondered if this could be used to accumulate experience in training.

Moreover, although he could acquire skills from the outside world, the process for acquiring them was quite unique. Only sufficiently powerful and special abilities could be absorbed by his system, which would then allow him to break through their limits.

At level 2, the limit increased to 100,000, and even if a clone was attacked, it would remain intact as long as its energy wasn't fully depleted.

At level 3, the limit rose to 10 million, and at this stage, the clones were no longer illusory—they would possess real flesh and blood.

At level 4, there was no limit. As long as Alex had enough energy, he could create an infinite number of clones and even generate temporary life forms.

At level 5, he could create permanent life forms!

To Alex's disappointment, he didn't detect any special energy in Teuchi. In the Six Eyes' energy vision, Teuchi appeared as nothing more than an ordinary person.

This made Alex exclaim in surprise. No wonder Teuchi was the legendary ōtsutsuki. He had already transcended this realm, perhaps reaching the level of a multiverse entity?

After leaving Ichiraku Ramen and parting ways with Minato, Alex continued to check off other famous locations, like the Hokage Monument and the Forest of Death.

When he arrived at the Forest of Death, a smile curved on his lips. The next moment, dozens of ninja wearing different animal masks attacked him!
