Through his spiritual senses, Evan soon located the Eldritch Energy scattered deep within the Eldritch Horror's body.

The moment he identified its position, he controlled the devouring vines, and the thorns embedded in the Horror's flesh sank even deeper, reaching the area where the Eldritch Energy resided.

Once the devouring vines made contact with the Eldritch Energy, the first pattern of the Rune of Absorption engraved on them glowed brilliantly, and the vines began to absorb the energy.

However, Evan quickly noticed that the vines were absorbing the energy at an extremely slow rate. Based on his estimation, it would take approximately five days to fully absorb all the Eldritch Energy within the Horror.
