Chapter 226 Finding Trouble
Their eyes met, and Jack Nan hesitated for a moment before a sinister smile slowly spread across his face.
"Looks like today isn't so unlucky after all."
Jack Nan gave Blaze Regret a sinister smile before turning his head and beckoning to the waiter, "An Tut, come here."

Upon hearing this, the waiter hurried over, his eyes filled with respect as he looked at Jack Nan.
With his arm around the waiter's neck, Jack Nan whispered something into his ear, his expression betraying an unmistakable slyness.
Catching snippets of their conversation, Blaze Regret's eyes flickered slightly. What terrible luck, this inn turned out to be a property of the Jack family. No wonder Jack Nan wore a cat and mouse expression the moment he saw him.
After a brief hesitation, the waiter nodded repeatedly and quickly made his way to the kitchen.
"Friend, since you're on Jack family territory, let me give you a proper welcome," Jack Nan said, his voice dripping with sarcasm and echoing through the inn.
Hearing this, the other guests in the inn turned their heads, casting sympathetic glances at Blaze Regret.
With their extensive experience, they instantly grasped the situation.
This young man had the misfortune of offending Jack Nan. He was in for a rough time.
Blaze Regret ignored the numerous glances cast his way, gently stroking the fur of Red, who lay lazily on the table, humming contentedly.
"A grown man raising a pet like a girl," Jack Nan sneered, and the Jack family members sitting with him burst into laughter.
"Looking for a beating again?" Blaze Regret lifted his face and looked at the provocatively grinning Jack Nan, speaking playfully.
Jack Nan's face immediately turned ugly at these words. The guests around turned red, stifling their laughter. Every person in Bloodstone Pass knew of the young master Jack's embarrassing incidents.
"You just wait and see," Jack Nan pressed his fist against the table hard, thinking angrily.
"Sir, your dishes are here."
At this moment, the waiter brought a few plates and placed them in front of Blaze Regret. Red, eager to pounce on the food, extended a paw but stopped mid air.
What should have been all meat dishes had turned into a mess of wild vegetables, with not a speck of meat in sight; only the humblest servants would normally eat such things.
"Oh, so the strong prefer eating this stuff, what fine taste," Jack Nan laughed heartily, his voice filled with the pleasure of revenge.
The surrounding guests became excited, watching the unfolding drama with keen interest.
"You're playing with fire," Blaze Regret said, applying slight pressure to the wooden chopsticks in his hand, snapping them in two. His calm voice now carried a hint of coldness.
"What are you talking about? I don't understand," Jack Nan spread his hands, feigning innocence.
Blaze Regret propped a hand on the table and stood up, slowly walking towards Jack Nan, a pale yellow flame gradually spreading from his palm.
"Uncle, someone is causing trouble!" Jack Nan shouted in panic.
Blaze Regret narrowed his eyes slightly and moved. His flame covered hand, carrying a scorching force, mercilessly reached for Jack Nan's throat.
"Young man, causing trouble on my Jack family's turf are you not taking us seriously?"
Just as Blaze Regret's hand was about to land on Jack Nan, a chilling aura suddenly enveloped the area. An icy hand tore through the air, grabbing Blaze Regret's wrist tightly.
The one who grabbed Blaze Regret's wrist was a middle aged man, whose features bore some resemblance to Jack Nan. This man was Jack Bun, a third tier spirit imperial master with a notable reputation on the outskirts of Bloodstone Pass.
"Are you the owner of this inn?" Blaze Regret glanced over and asked calmly.
"Indeed, I am. May I ask why you attacked someone? Are you intentionally causing trouble?" Jack Bun immediately pinned the blame on Blaze Regret, shifting all responsibility onto him.
"Heh, causing trouble? Far from it. I ordered a full table of meat dishes, costing nearly ten thousand gold coins. And what was served?" Blaze Regret shook his arm slightly, retrieving his hand without a trace, and spoke coldly.
Upon hearing this, the faces of the inn's guests changed, and they looked at Blaze Regret with newfound curiosity. Spending nearly ten thousand gold coins on a meal what kind of wealth did this require?
"Are you joking? You, affording such an exorbitant price?" Jack Nan boasted from behind Jack Bun.
"An Tut, bring this customer's gold card," Jack Bun said, beckoning someone behind him without changing his expression.
Responding promptly, the waiter hurriedly brought a gold card and handed it to Jack Bun with both hands.
"Hmph!"
After a brief spiritual scan, Jack Bun snorted coldly. With a flick of his wrist, he tossed the gold card to the ground near Blaze Regret's feet, causing the guests in the inn to pause in surprise.
"This gold card has less than a hundred gold coins. Are you trying to make a fool of me?" Jack Bun's slightly icy voice echoed through the inn.
"Indeed, birds of a feather flock together."
Blaze Regret shook his head and sneered, "The gold card I have isn't this one. Mine has a Hildan mark on the lower right corner. Boss Jack, would you kindly bring over the gold cards from the counter for verification?"
After taking down Mon Dark, Blaze Regret found at least three gold cards in his void realms stone, all bearing the unique mark of the Hildan Hunters, which couldn't be erased.
Jack Bun's expression shifted slightly. He hadn't expected Blaze Regret to be so cunning. If what he said was true, the reputation of this inn would plummet.
"You think you can just order us around? Who do you think you are?" Jack Nan glared icily at Blaze Regret. With Jack Bun, a third tier spirit Imperial master, present, he felt emboldened and didn't take Blaze Regret seriously at all.
Hearing this, Jack Bun nodded, maintaining an official demeanor.
