Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Chapter 278 Borrowed Knife

"Where did you get so much money?" Walker Nani sharply turned to Walker Adam, thinking this would surely bring trouble to the Walker family. If Stun Zen found out, the tribute they had to pay would increase again.

"That's not mine; it belongs to Brother Blaze!" Walker Adam's voice was filled with anger. These people were even scheming against Blaze Regret?

"Hmph, I knew it. That person is harming our Walker family. Get him here quickly and hand over all his assets to the Stun Family, or I'll immediately take people to end his life!" Walker Nani declared arrogantly, as if everything belonging to Blaze Regret was hers to control.

In the distance, Stun Qistin's eyes held a hint of mockery. This was exactly the result she wanted using a borrowed knife to kill someone who might help them. It was a delightful situation. Even though Blaze Regret had advanced to a sixth level spirit Imperial master, the vast Walker family was like a centipede that wouldn't die easily.

If they attacked with full force to encircle and kill Blaze Regret, it would be a walk in the park.

"Sis, how can you be like this!" Walker Adam looked at Walker Nani as if she were a stranger. To curry favor with the Stun Family, she had lost all bottom lines. If she had the courage, why not stand up to the Stun Family? Was it just because Blaze Regret seemed easier to bully than the Stun Family?Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"What did I do? Everything I do is for the family," Walker Nani retorted self righteously, her face even showing some pride as if she genuinely believed she had no choice but to act for the Walker family's benefit.

"If you want the gold card, you won't get it, take my life instead!" Walker Adam turned his gaze, glaring fiercely at Stun Tuah. His slightly pale face flushed red with anger.

"You really don't know what's good for you!" Walker Nani's chest heaved slightly, her face filled with indignation. Once the Stun Family members left, she would surely report Walker Adam's unreasonable behavior to their father.

"Do you really think I don't dare to touch you?" Stun Tuah frowned slightly under Walker Adam's furious gaze. Then, his right hand clenched into a fist, and he swung it fiercely towards Walker Adam's face.

In the past, he would never have had the courage to make a move, but now the Walker family had fallen on hard times. With Stun Qistin backing him, as long as he didn't kill Walker Adam, no one would dare trouble him.

As the fierce cold wind howled, Walker Adam didn't even blink, clenching his teeth tightly. His innate pride made him prefer to take the punch rather than bow his head to the Stun Family members.

"Bringing this upon yourself," Stun Qistin scoffed lightly, a disdainful, mocking smile slowly spreading across her lips.

Seeing Stun Tuah's fist swing, Walker Nani was initially shocked, but then she calmed herself. Letting Walker Adam suffer a bit might prevent future disasters that could implicate her.

"Sigh, I'm doing this for your own good," Walker Nani sighed softly, as if she were truly concerned for Walker Adam.

Just as a sinister smile appeared at the corner of Stun Tuah's mouth, a whirlwind like figure suddenly swept in. A fist carrying a slight force landed squarely on his nose.

"Crack!"

The sound of a nasal bone breaking echoed as Stun Tuah, like a kite with a broken string, crashed to the ground with a thud, leaving a long trail on the ground as he slid backward.

"I have plenty of gold, but I'm not keen on giving it away."

Gently rubbing his knuckles, Blaze Regret's mouth held a faint smile. His emotionless voice resonated at the Walker family's entrance, causing the surrounding air to become still in that moment.

Staring at Stun Tuah who was sent flying backwards, Walker Nani and several members of the Stun Family were slightly stunned. In the distance, Stun Qistin trembled slightly and involuntarily took a step back.

With the help of several clan members, Stun Tuah was hurriedly supported to his feet. He glared fiercely at Blaze Regret, and a nimble spirit beast manifested beside him.

The spirit beast had a head resembling a wasp and was exceptionally fierce. Its brown armor tightly wrapped its body, and its hands were two gleaming blades with a hint of pale blue cold light slowly flowing along the edges.

This creature was known as the "Double Edged Wasp," a high level fifth tier Imperial grade spirit beast with wind attributes. Its sharp blades were exceptionally swift, capable of slicing an enemy into several segments in mere moments.

Upon seeing Stun Tuah summon his spirit beast, the remaining members of the Stun Family also flashed a fierce glint in their eyes. Different spirit beasts appeared around them, their gaze fixed ominously on Blaze Regret.

"Who are you?" Walker Nani asked Blaze Regret. A moment later, realization dawned on her, and anger surged onto her face. "It's you, isn't it? You injured Silver Ray and Silver Van. You're a reckless fool, a frog at the bottom of the well, unaware of the might of a spirit Lord master. Kneel and beg for mercy, seek Stun Family's forgiveness, and then go to Bloodstone Pass to accept punishment!"

Glancing briefly behind him, Blaze Regret noticed the helpless expression on Walker Adam's face and smiled gently.

"All of you, come at me together."

Upon hearing this, Stun Qistin, hiding in the corner, sneered with happy face. Stun Tuah's Double Edged Wasp was renowned for its speed. As long as it could entangle the fire Cat for a moment, the remaining spirit beasts could easily tear Blaze Regret to pieces.

"What arrogance," Walker Nani thought disdainfully after a brief pause.

Only Walker Adam showed a look of relief on his face.

"Double Edged Wasp, chop off that brat's hands for me!" Stun Tuah's eyes were as sharp as drawn swords, fixed intently on Blaze Regret. If he didn't take this kid down, he'd no longer bear the surname Stun!
