Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

After another presentation, it was time for Nathan and Vivian to bring their topic up.

Nathan stood on the left of the stage while Vivian stood next to the crystal.

Nathan was the one who wrote down the topic of the discussion.

[New Classifications of Summoners.]

"Hmm?" Melissa couldn't help but squint her eyes when she saw this topic.

"Teacher. A classification… Is there even a way to classify a summoner?"

"What we have been doing is getting as much information as possible from the summoners, such as the aliens they've killed, as well as their track record, which is easy to forge." Melissa crossed her arms. "However, it's unlikely for her to bring something unscientific."

Vivian stepped forth while saying, "I'm sure that you have been frustrated at how you can show your power as a summoner. Even if you have the amount of Ena, how much Ena do you have? How is it compared to others? Will that be enough to go against the aliens?

"The topic I have today is very important and sensitive. I hope you can first listen with an open mind.

"First of all, you should know how hard it is to discern the true ability of a summoner, right? If we know that they have killed a juvenile class alien, you may think they're quite strong. We've been thinking that the aliens are classified with a logarithmic scale, but how are we able to be so sure?

"And that's when I heard something interesting. Since the alien's strength can be measured on a logarithmic scale, why can't we classify the summoners on a similar scale? How do you measure the strength of a summoner?

"Of course, their familiars and their respective abilities are something that we have to take into account, but there is one thing they have in common that, no matter what kind of variable they have, will be the same as other summoners. And that is Ena."

Vivian turned to Nathan, handing the continuation to him.

Nathan nodded. "Have you ever wondered what if… what if we are able to measure Ena? We are able to measure a distance, speed, and other things. What about Ena? What is Ena to begin with?

"However, this question was answered 70 years ago by Professor Weizker. He has proved that Ena is a particle. In that case, how are we going to measure a particle? And the answer is this crystal that you're already familiar with, Luena Crystal, the type of crystal that has the ability to isolate Ena. We have been using this Luena Crystal for more than a hundred years as a lamp due to its property.

"But if you take a normal lamp, you will realize the Ena stored inside the crystal is unrecognizable. However, if one is strong enough, their senses should be able to see that the lump of Ena is not merged with each other."

Nathan's inexperience was shown in this presentation. His words were rather stiff, but all of them could understand the meaning of his words.

Vivian stepped forth and raised his hand. "Before that, I would like to have a volunteer go up. If possible, you have to be a new summoner, which will make it easier for us to measure the number of your Ena."

The people looked at each other before one summoner raised his hand. "I'm willing to volunteer."

"Good." As he took the stage, Vivian flicked her finger as the lamp on the wall flung toward her. She grabbed it and shook it until the lamp had completely died. She then handed it to him and said, "How about pouring your Ena inside this crystal?"

"Y-Yes." The summoner nodded his head and poured his Ena.

"Please take a look at this." Vivian raised the crystal. "There are a total of 70 Ena inside this crystal. If you're unsure, how about coming up so that you can count it yourself? I believe Professor Melissa and Grandmaster Robert are the only ones who can perfectly count them…"

"Sure." Robert stood up with a smile.

Melissa's eyebrows twitched as she was cursing Vivian inwardly. 'She actually wanted me to help with her presentation.'

The summoner gulped down and poured his Ena.

The crystal lit up, but not as bright as the lamp because the particles were actually separated.

However, there were only seven green particles.

"There are seven orange particles, which symbolize 70 Ena. How does this crystal work? It's actually pretty simple.

"In the beginning, I'm able to measure them with the same color particles, but that's when I find a wall. How much Ena can one count? A thousand? Tens of thousands? A hundred thousand? What about millions?

"The answer is simple. Since the particles have the tendency to group up, I group them up. This crystal has been specifically manufactured so that it will have a total of 100 cells inside, with the maximum limit being 1,000,000, by following the order of color of the rainbow.

"In other words, red means 1 Ena, orange means 10 Ena, and so on until purple, which is 1,000,000 Ena.

"With this measurement, we'll be able to measure the amount of Ena one has in their body, which results in a new classification of summoners.

"In that case, what do you think about getting a few more volunteers to test it?" Vivian smirked.
