Supreme Casanova: Ultimate Harem System

Chapter 90 Club Break!

Hugo took a deep breath, mentally hyping himself up. 'Alright, Hugo, this is the moment. You've got this. Don't blow it. Channel Sanchez's wisdom. Be cool, confident, and smooth. Just like you've practised.'

Jessica was leaning in closer, her warm hazel eyes sparkling under the neon lights of the club.

Her pink-flushed cheeks made her look even more gorgeous, and Hugo couldn't help but feel like he was finally making some progress.

He had been stuck at making conversations for a whole hour and was finally seeing progress. It definitely felt good.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Part of it was his carefully chosen words, but, let's face it, the drinks definitely helped loosen her up too.

In fact, they were majorly responsible for the complete change in her attitude. She was acting like a werewolf in heat!

The Divine Bartender had saved the day with his devilish flavors!

"Jessica," Hugo began, his voice smooth but his mind screaming like a malfunctioning alarm clock. 'Don't stutter. Don't stutter. YOU GOT THIS.'

"Yes?" she replied, tilting her head slightly. Her lips curled into a small, inviting smile, making Hugo feel like he was staring at the gates of heaven.

He cleared his throat, channeling every ounce of confidence he didn't really have. He felt like a puppy staring down an oncoming truck.

"Would you… uh, maybe want to go somewhere a little more private now? Just the two of us?"

For a moment, there was silence. The entire world around him seemed to slow down, the music fading into the background.

Jessica didn't say anything right away, and Hugo's heart raced like a caffeinated hamster on a wheel.

'Oh no. She's going to say no. What if she laughs? What if she leaves? What if she laughs and then leaves?! Or worse, what if she already recognizes me as the failure of a simp during the first day?!'

Then, her lips parted, and she smiled seductively, giving him a sexy wink. "Sure, Hugo. Let's go."

BOOM! It felt like fireworks exploded in his chest. He wanted to jump up, fist pump the air, and shout, "Yes, baby! Take that, world!"

But instead, he kept his cool, only allowing a satisfied grin to creep onto his face. Sanchez had warned him not to show too much excitement.

That was one of the major differences between a Casanova and a Simp.

"Great. Let's go, then," he said, trying not to sound too eager.

He stood up, taking her hand gently in his. Jessica stood as well, her fingers curling around his. Her skin was smooth like a baby's. It definitely didn't feel like the hands of an athlete.

Hugo glanced back at the bar and spotted the bartender out of the corner of his eye. The man was grinning at him again, this time with an unmistakable I told you so expression.

Reluctantly, Hugo pulled out another $20 and dropped it on the counter as they passed.

'Normally, I'd never encourage this kind of shady behaviour,' he thought, glaring inwardly at the bartender. 'But since he already crossed the line, I'd be a fool not to take advantage of it. Besides, it worked, didn't it?'

"Keep it," Hugo muttered, pretending to be nonchalant.

The bartender gave him a sly wink. "Pleasure doing business with you, mate."

Leading Jessica toward the exit, Hugo felt like he was on top of the world. Nothing could ruin this moment—

Until he saw her.

By the club's entrance stood the tall, jaw-droppingly gorgeous woman with flowing black hair and a figure that could make angels weep.

She was dressed in a sleek red dress that hugged her curves, exuding an aura of power and sophistication.

But that wasn't what made Hugo freeze in panic. No, the real problem was the three bulky men surrounding her. They weren't just any men—they were his old gang members.

Oh, for the love of all things holy, WHY IS SHE STILL HERE?!

The woman's laughter rang out, cool and confident, as her gaze swept casually over the crowd.

Hugo's stomach churned. 'This is bad. If she sees me, I'm toast. If those guys see me, I'm double toast!'

She turned slightly, giving him a clearer view of her face. Hugo panicked, his fight or flight instincts kicking into overdrive.

Spinning around so fast that he accidentally yanked Jessica with him, he nearly sent her sprawling.

"Hugo! What are you doing?" Jessica exclaimed, startled.

Thinking fast, Hugo flashed a sheepish grin and twirled her lightly, pretending it was a dance move.

"Sorry! Just felt like showing off some dance moves. You didn't know I could dance, did you?"

Jessica gave him a confused look but laughed anyway. "You're such a dork."

Hugo kept the smile plastered on his face while his brain was racing at light speed.

'Alright, think, Hugo. You can't let them see you. If they recognise you, you're toast. But how do I get Jessica out without making it obvious I'm avoiding them?'

He leaned closer to her, his voice low. "Hey, why don't you wait for me outside? I just realised I left something important in the club. Won't take a minute."

Jessica pouted but nodded. "Alright, but hurry up. Don't leave me standing out there like some loser."

"Promise," Hugo said with a smile that he hoped was reassuring.

As soon as she walked toward the exit, Hugo ducked into the crowd, his brain working overtime.

'Okay, Hugo. Think. If you try to leave now, they'll see you. If you stay here, you're stuck. What do you do?'

He scanned the room desperately. The pounding music, flashing lights, and throng of people made it hard to focus.

He dodged a waitress carrying a tray of drinks and ducked behind a group of rowdy college guys.

'Maybe there's a backdoor? Or a kitchen? Hell, I'd settle for a freaking air vent at this point!'

As he weaved through the crowd, Hugo couldn't help but curse his luck. 'Why does the universe hate me? Why does this always happen to me?'
