Temporal Pearls

Seth froze under the gaze of that mighty creature. It was out of grandeur but not that he couldn't move at all, but he was enthralled by its beauty and nature.

The game called it a baby but to Seth, that was no baby, its eyes were gleaming with intelligence, and its body was large enough to be 4m or even more when it unfolded.

The dragon's eyes shifted and looked at Seth's blade, then at him. It was just observing the worm that entered it aboard and it turned out to be the legendary creature known as a human.

The dragon knew that these tiny weaklings were smart and sometimes even smarter than dragons if time was given. Rumours have it they were also favoured by fate.

And true to that, the baby dragon can feel that Seth has some kind of protection against him. But it wasn't physical it was more mental that was why he wasn't falling to his knees and greeting him, the dragon.

However, suddenly, the human bowed and said, "Greeting, young and beautiful Dragon." The human stood and then said, "I have gathered more red stones and filled the sanctuary formation outside. Is there anything I could do for you!"

History for told that, since ancient times, humans have clung to creatures that have power and even worship them in some instances.

In ancient civilisation wherever there was a congregation of humans that exceeded 10,000 there must be a dragon in that location. As they serve it in exchange for protection.

However, not all humans are to be trusted, as they are smart and intelligent. In some instances, dragons were tamed and even killed by humans.

Despite that, there were conditions in the dragon memory inheritance that if the humans meet the dragon can allow them to serve them.

The first and most important was, the dragon must be physically stronger than the human.

And for certain, the dragon in the cave was vastly stronger than the human. Even the armour it wore can be broken and shredded by a few strikes from the dragon. Not to mention dragon breath, it can breathe once every day, it will be devastating to the human.

Even though this dragon was one of the weakest dragons in terms of physical power.

Seth's cloak fluttered due to the dragon's blood; it moved and swayed as if alive.

Seeing the red stripe, the dragon concluded that the human was from Red Valley, and people sent from there were not always peaceful, he couldn't see the outside but he just concluded this was just a trap.

The lake never ripple when suddenly Seth found himself smacked at the wall, embedded in it. His great crodo hide armour cracked, he inside rattled and his exhaustion went from 200 to 10.

It had made a mental note that, when the dragon moved, he was going to call Mantle but he hadn't seen a thing move.

Seth opened his eyes and he saw himself wrapped around with his cloak, it was the one that took 90% of the attack, or else he would be smashed to a pulp and died.

The dragon wasn't around but then it just appeared back in the pool, glaring at seth. The dragon checked outside and found that there was no one ready to ambush it.

Seth tried to smile but he grimaced as he found his face wrecked and his bones broken.

The dragon was beautiful, its bright blue scales were semi-transparent and tiny and well arranged. its neck was long and graceful. Its face has feminine dragon features. 2 forelimbs and 2 hind limbs and a long tail that can wrap the whole body twice.

The most beautiful part was the large wings, they were wide and long enough to encase the dragon in a cocoon twice. And they aren't bat-like but they were made of fur and feathers like organs.

The dragon groaned and slumped down, it wanted to kill the damn human but that cloak protected him and also, its Dragon Foresight suddenly activated and it felt an uneasy feeling that forced it to move away from the human.

Seth didn't know his cloak has that feature of instance protection because it wasn't stated in the description. But now that it has protected him, it seemed weak and lethargic.

'Conquer the dragon' Seth thought, suddenly, he saw the Dragon's tail shift, and in his mind, he quickly called out.

"Halo!"

The dragon vanished and just as Seth was about to experience death, his Red Stripe pulsed with red light which made a force explode from his body and enveloped the whole cave.

The graceful fast dragon was moving swiftly, it aimed to smash Seth to a pulp and ate him but suddenly it found its whole body slowed down and paused in the air. An indescribable fear entered its heart as it felt the pressure of a higher Dragon pressed down on it.

That's not all, the human points a small blade and then…

Elevated strike!

It felt an aura of a supreme Dragon from that strike and it pierced its chest and it came from behind and then retracted as fast.

The dragon prided itself on speed and that was the only thing it could do but even with its speed, it perceived the blade moving extremely fast. That was a feat no one has ever done against it before.

But if it wasn't pressed by the dragon pressure it would have escaped with ease. The higher dragon pressure vanished and the dragon flapped its wings to move but its body reacted and the aura from the supreme dragon exploded which clashed with its aura and it became very weak and fell down, with no strength.

It was only after it fell down did Seth realize what happened. The pulse of the red stripe paused the dragon in the air as if it froze space itself and the shooting of his blade all happened in 1 tenth of a second.

All he did was give a mental note but wasn't able to keep up with what happened.

Aura Sight, Seth realized the aura in the dragon was a mess and that made its body ravaged and weak.

Even with that, the pressure coming out from the dragon was increasing, trying to be strong enough to squash the bug. Seth chuckled as he looked at the dragon and said, "it means I defeat you!"

The dragon raised its leg and was about to swing it but felt weak and helpless. Under its horrifying eyes, Seth brought out the womb and threw it in the face.

It opened its mouth to release dragon breath, but even that failed and the Apex womb touched it.

A dragon word commanded. Seth did feel the need to bow and apologized but then his mouth smirked and said,

~I refused~

His dragon word carried the might of a dragon which was higher and more forceful.

~All true dragons are mighty but I defeat Roana Prada~

His boastful dragon word and what he revealed shocked the baby dragon and its mind went blank before it can even resist the womb. Its body vanished and was stored inside the womb.

Seth on the other hand felt weak and just stayed inside his crater. He pulled out a soothing gourd and drank some recovery water before he closed his eyes and slept.
