The Only Son Amongst The Daughters Of Eros

Chapter 92 First Fight

Aeric hurried down the grand staircase, his heart pounding harder with each step.

'Shit, shit, shit!' his mind raced, berating himself for taking so long in the headmistress's office. It wasn't his fault, the headmistress's pussy was just that good.

Well, that being said, it was his fault.

'She's probably upset… no, furious,' he thought. 'Is she though? Maybe she'll be understanding. She'll get it. Yeah! I'm sure it'll be fine.'

His boots clacked loudly against the marble steps as he descended, heart still beating which surprised him subconsciously. He really did like this girl.

As soon as he began to hurry towards it, the large double doors at the center of the grand building, suddenly groaned open, and the main hall filled with the sound of footsteps and chatter as the Daughters spilled out in groups, their laughter and murmurs echoing through the vast corridor.

'Fuck.'

He froze for a moment, his eyes darting through the crowd. 'Aren't there like eighteen of them? Why do they suddenly feel like a hundred?'

He searched longer, seeing blond hair flashing here and there, most likely from the other Dawn Region Daughters but none of them actually belonged to her.

Frowning, Aeric stepped into the throng, weaving through the sea of flowing skirts, round squishy breasts, neatly pressed uniforms and bubble butts.

Each time he passed a Daughter, they would turn to look at him, but he paid them no attention. He kept his head forward, ignoring even the sharp glares from Aryanne and Melina, who muttered something he couldn't catch as he pushed past.

Then, his eyes glowed, seeing a blonde glittering sunlight hair and the splendid curvy body that he was certain belonged to Celestia. Aeric extended his arm.

"Excuse me," he muttered distractedly, turning the blonde girl by the shoulder. He was met by an extremely large pair of tits that were almost about to tear right through her dress.

The girl's wide eyes blinked up at him in confusion, and he recognised that it wasn't Celestia. It was Meira.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Oh, sorry," Aeric stammered, stepping back as she shrank from his touch, hiding her face nervously and walking away. Without another word, and another thought to the girl that he had once planned to [Claim] early on, he turned and continued his search, becoming a little worried that he had already missed Celestia.

Then, turning his head sharply, he finally saw her.

Celestia stood near the edge of the crowd, her books clutched tightly to her chest. Her sun-blonde hair caught the light, but her posture was closed off, her head tilted downward as if she wanted to vanish into the sea of students.

Relief surged through Aeric as he called out to her, "Celestia!"

Celestia heard him and she paused, her shoulders stiffening. For a moment, he thought she would turn to him. But she simply adjusted her grip on her books and started walking away.

'Okay, she's definitely not happy.'

"Celestia! Wait!" Aeric called again, his voice louder this time as he hurried after her. She continued to walk past the other Daughters, heading for the main door.

Fortunately, Aeric caught up quickly and he stepped in front of her and gently said, "Hey."

Celestia stopped, her blue gaze briefly meeting him before dropping to the floor. Her lips were pressed tightly together, and Aeric could see that she was very visibly upset, possibly even hurt as she stood there silent.

"I'm sorry," he said, his tone earnest. "I got caught up with something important. I didn't mean to—"

"More important than me?" Celestia interrupted, her voice quiet but cutting. "I know that is a strong thing to say right now, but I'm worried that this sets the tone for what is to come, Aeric."

She raised her eyes, and Aeric was struck by the mixture of hurt and disappointment in her gaze. "I set up seats for you. You missed all three lessons, Aeric. Yesterday and today. You missed them all."

"I know, I know," he said quickly, raising his hands in a placating gesture, reaching for her shoulders. "I messed up. But I'm not running away from you, my life is just extremely complicated right now and I'm only trying to find some organization. But I really want to spend time with you. I swear, it's just—"

She let out a sharp humph, though it carried no humor. "Well, the very least you can do is to let me in on it? I was the one who helped you in the Veiled Maze when even your sisters wouldn't."

Aeric looked into her eyes. Was that the right move? What she was asking for. Would it be wise to give it to her? Even though right now she was the only one who deserved it, it still felt like too much to put on her and also a possible dent on his plans.

The future in this world was way too uncertain.

Celestia sighed when she saw that he couldn't answer. "It's not difficult, Aeric. To spend time with me doesn't mean much when you're always off doing... whatever it is you do," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "All these secret adventures, all these stuff you're chasing — where does that leave me if I'm not a part of it? At this rate, we'll never have that walk you promised."

"Celestia, I'm sorry," Aeric said, desperation creeping into his voice. "I'll make it up to you. I promise."

But she shook her head, stepping around him. "Get your priorities straight, Aeric. I have mine now." Her words were soft but firm, a finality in her tone that left no room for argument. Without another glance, she walked away, right past Aeric's shoulder, her steps brisk and purposeful.

For a moment, he stood there, rooted to the spot, guilt twisting his stomach into knots as he turned and watched her retreating figure. The hallway seemed to grow quieter, though he could still feel the weight of dozens of eyes on him.

"Well, well," Aryanne's mocking voice cut through the silence, her laughter ringing out. "Looks like even Celestia's had enough of you. Abandoned, huh? How tragic. But everyone's eventually going to abandon you, Aeric. No one wants to associate themselves with the abomina—"

Her words shattered away as Aeric glared at her with a dark, threatening gaze, fists clenched. Aryanne fell shut, eyes widened as she could swear a second ago Aeric's eyes had lit up with a crimson darkness.

Without a word, the Prince turned on his heel and strode through the hall, Aryanne watching with a pounding heart alongside other Daughters as he left.

Once outside, Aeric exhaled deeply, the crisp air doing little to soothe his frayed nerves. He saw Celestia fly away on her Winged Pegasus, sighing internally.

'Why do I feel this heart wrenching emotion in my chest? Hells.'

He lowered his head and spotted Delva waiting astride her sleek brown horse, her expression calm and unchanging. Beside her, Sylver stood ready, the massive wolf's silver fur shimmering faintly in the late afternoon light.

Aeric approached them, feeling the tension in his shoulders easing slightly as he didn't have to walk all the way to the stables to retrieve his Beast Companion. "Delva," he said, climbing onto Sylver's back, "we've only known each other a day, but... I can't tell you how relieved I am to see a familiar face."

She inclined her head gracefully. "Thank you, Master Aeric."

He nodded his head, patting Sylver's side. "Let's go," he said, "I have too much on my mind today. Lots to do as well."
