Unpredictable Marriage.

Taio stayed with his paternal grandparents for 3 days before Lady Chen came to take him away.

Lady Chen learned from her friend, Madam Bilu that the little guy has been at her place, and there was no way the latter wouldn't want to enjoy the company of her grandson, so she immediately came over.

At first, Madam Bilu thought she was joking when she said she was coming over to take her grandson, so she didn't take it to heart.

But when she saw Lady Chen was serious, she was in a dilemma.

"Ju Ju, you can come after 4 days to take him, we haven't spent a lot of time with him. And besides, he's already getting closer to me now." Madam Bilu said to her dearest friend.

"Bilu, you may not know this, but I have been busy at the company and with business summits, so I didn't have time to visit my grandson. Now that I managed to push the responsibilities to someone else, I have to spend time with him." 

Lady Chen said as if she had no choice. 

This woman was truly an actress! Could she really tell the truth that she was jealous and hence came over to take the little guy away?

Of course, there was no way she would reveal her secrete.

"You can move your schedule backward, then after four days, you can move it forward and come for Taio." Madam Liu said as she tried to negotiate with her stubborn friend.

"Aiyah! Bilu, you should really think of me. I have been busy at work all day, and I finally found time to be with my grandson after a lot of effort, just let me take him away. And besides, it was hard for his mother to let him out of her sight for this long, do you think she would still want him to stay away when 7 days is over?."

Lady Chen Knew her daughter well. She knew Chen Lihua wouldn't let the little guy out of her sight for more than a week.

And Knowing she wouldn't let her take Taio from the Liu's when the week was over, Lady Chen knew she wouldn't have another chance soon, of spending time with her grandson, alone. Hence, she insisted on taking the little guy with her.

"But Lihua is your daughter, and she will listen to you when you tell her you want to spend time with Taio." Madam Liu said with a frown.

"Do you think she will listen to me? Just think about a mother that is obsessed with her child, do you think she will easily let him out of her sight?." Lady Chen retorted.

"There is a chance." Madam Li replied.

"Yes, there is indeed a chance..."

Madam Liu was about to rejoice that Lady Chen had finally succumbed to her, but her remaining words flattened the smile that just appeared on her face.

"... a slim chance. So you see, I can't take any risks." 

"Ju Ju..." 

Madam Liu was about to refute her words when the old lady called out to them.

"What are you two grandmothers arguing about? Can you see Taio staring at the both of you while you two are trying to negotiate him like he is a product?" Old Madam Liu said with a glare.

As their attention was called, the two grandmothers, glanced at their cute grandson, to see he was actually staring at them.

The two women were embarrassed because they could guess that Taio heard and understood that they were arguing because of him.

Taio saw the gaze of his two grandmothers on him, he looked away and walked to his great-grandmother's side.

"Good boy, stay with great-grandma." The old lady said as she assisted the little guy to climb to her side.

Taio sat by the old lady's side, and from there, he fixed his gaze on his two grandmothers. Now that he was far from them, they could argue all they wanted. 

Lady Chen and Madam Liu exchanged glances with the look that said...

'Did he just run away from us?'

'Was he frightened by us?'

Glancing back at Taio who had his curious gaze at them, they cleared their throats and stopped talking.

"Ju Ju, why did you come to take my great-grandson away?." The Old lady asked as she fixed her gaze on Lady Chen.

"Old Lady, I want to spend some time with my grandson as well." Lady Chen said in a soft tone.

"It's not a bad thing. You should wait till 4 days is over, then you can go and ask Lihua about it. This Old lady asked for my great-grandson's company from his mother. And it was out of filial piety that she brought him to me. If you want to spend time with Taio, you have to go through the official process." 

The old lady said while gesturing with her hands.

"Official process? What official process?." Lady Chen asked with furrowed brows.

"If you want to take Taio, you will have to ask Lihua. After spending some efforts to get my great-grandson to come to my side, can I easily release him to you?" The Old lady asked as she looked away.

Lady Chen was at a loss. Even the old lady has proved to be a stumbling block. 

But still, how could she leave empty-handed? She didn't come to see her grandson and then go back the Chen Villa, she came to take him with her!

So how could she leave without him?!

Lady Chen was stubborn and talked to the old lady for a long time until her mouth started hurting, and only then did the old lady, give her face.

The old lady turned to the little guy to ask, "Your grandmother wants to take you with her to spend a few days, are you willing to go with her?."

Taio glanced at Lady Chen and saw the expectant look on her face, and slowly nodded in approval.

Lady Chen almost jumped for joy. She wanted to rush to the little guy's side, but she was scared of frightening him, so she tried hed to play cool while smiling at him.

Madam Liu felt a little bitter about the situation, she didn't want her grandson to leave her side!

"Don't rejoice so soon, we still need to ask for the mother's approval." The Old Lady said with her gaze on Lady Chen.

Immediately, black lines appeared on Lady Chen's forehead.
