Although Qingqing appeared to have taken the warning to heart, she remained skeptical deep down.

His words sparked a gleam of hope in the eyes of many of the young women present. The Keepers of Forbidden Lore, as one of the Six Factions of the Way of Nature, possessed a profound heritage. The prospect of cultivating there meant they wouldn't have to live in fear any longer.

The Fox Immortal then turned her attention to Ye Hao.

“The best I can offer is my swordsmanship. As long as I stand, they will be safe,” Ye Hao stated thoughtfully.

His commitment drew the notice of a few of the young women, though it lacked the allure of Xiao Ming's promise.

“Now, you may choose for yourselves,” the Fox Immortal said gently.

“Grandmother, what do you mean?” a girl around fourteen or fifteen years old asked anxiously, clutching the Fox Immortal's hand.

“I must enter seclusion before the great battle, and you must leave this place now,” the Fox Immortal explained, her eyes filled with affection and reluctance.

After a brief pause, she spoke more firmly, “No more tears. It's time to make your decisions.”

“I want to go to the Keepers of Forbidden Lore.” Following the choice of an older woman, the others began to declare their decisions in turn.

“A villa? Can you afford that?”

“Okay then,” Xiao Ming conceded, turning to address the fox spirits. “You have two options. The first is for me to take you to the Keepers of Forbidden Lore. The second is for you to join the Supernatural Bureau. I'm confident the Wolf Immortal won't bother you.”

“I don't have time.”

“Ye Hao, you know what my father intends. What will it take for you to leave the Leng family alone?”

“You still care about the Leng family, I see.” Ye Hao's tone shifted as he continued, “Yesterday, as I was passing by Pinlinet Creek, I saw the Sea of Love. Owning a house there might just improve my mood.”

“The Sea of Love is full of villas,” Leng Xue said with a wry smile.

“I've always had a thing for villas.”

Unbeknownst to Soong Leji, Ye Hao truly had no involvement in the Security Bureau taking members of his family. They were merely carrying out a standard procedure.

”If you're looking to make amends, that's not out of the question. I'll send you my bank account details later,” Ye Hao stated coolly.

Soong Leji breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this. His greatest fear was that Ye Hao wouldn't state his terms.
