Chapter 98 - Day Of The Incident.
Isaac's eyes slowly opened, and a familiar yet strange scene appeared in front of him.
Around 20 desks were put in 4 different rows, and each row had 5 desks.
Each desk had a seat with young men and women sitting with the same school outfit.
The outfit consisted of white pants and a jacket with a blue necktie. The girls had slightly different, instead of pants, they had skirts with long kneesocks.
Isaac looked at his outfit, and he was wearing the same outfit. He gulped, and he remembered where he was...
'I am back in the school...' He thought, and his face was becoming paler.
''Isaac Whitelock!'' A loud shout came from the front of the classroom.
Isaac flinched and sat straight. His gaze got locked with the teacher, who was looking at him with a stern look.
The teacher had short black hair with a handsome face, which was morphed into slight anger. His body was quite athletic, which usually would be quite popular among young ladies.
But every girl inside the classroom looked at him with annoyed looks.
''I am sorry, am I boring you?'' The teacher asked with sarcastic tone.
Isaac felt like something was stuck on his throat as he remembered the teacher.
'Damien...' The teacher was Damien, the one who kept him alive until the ambulance came.
Every student in the classroom turned their heads towards Isaac, and most of them had their innocent faces having a hue of pink.
''I am sorry, it won't happen again,'' Isaac replied with his tone showing how sorry he was in.
''Hmm...'' Damien felt like Isaac was somewhat different, but he soon continued his class while Isaac was becoming more sure where he was.
'This is the day...' Isaac's face was pale as a sheet, 'Today is the day of my incident...'
He shakily turned his head towards the middle row and saw a beautiful girl with white hair innocently sitting with a small smile on her attractive face.
She felt a gaze on her back; she slowly turned her head around and locked gazes with Isaac.
Her cheeks got quickly dyed in pink as she smiled softly towards Isaac.
Isaac quickly turned his head around to look outside the window.
Amanda looked worried after seeing Isaac's pale face, but then she felt a tap on her shoulder.
She turned her head around and saw a young man with black hair pointing at Damien.
''You will be in trouble if he sees you not concentrating on the class,'' Oliver said gently.
Amanda sighed and took another glance at Isaac, which Oliver noticed.
Oliver's face showed his pain, but he turned his head away and concentrated on the class with his right hand clenched in a fist.
Isaac looked outside the window and saw the bright blue sky. It would have been perfect weather, but it will take a very nasty turn a few hours later...
He couldn't care less about the class, even though it was Damien's class. He was debating whether he should just run away, but then he remembered the reason he was here...
*Ring*
The school's bell rang, signaling the end of the first class.
Isaac quickly stood up and stormed out of the classroom.
Amanda was about to ask if he was alright, but he was already gone. She sighed and grabbed her phone from her pocket.
''Amanda, are you coming?'' Her friends gathered around her.
Amanda bit her lip and looked at her friends, ''Girls... I am going to do it.''
Her friends looked confused at first until shocked looks appeared on their faces.
''N-Now?''
''Oh my god...''
Her third friend almost fainted, ''T-This might be considered a blasphemy...''
''Blasphemy or not...'' Amanda grabbed the phone tighter, ''I have to tell about my feelings.''
''S-So, you are really going to?'' Her friends covered their mouths in shock.
Amanda nodded and started typing a message, ''That's right, I will confess to Isaac!''
Her friends started screaming with excitement and surprise.
Some distance away, Oliver dropped his pen as he heard her words.
'No...' His eyes went bloodshot as his fingers dug inside his palms, 'She is mine!'
''Oliver, are you alright?'' One of his friends tapped his shoulder.
Oliver turned his head around, and his friends looked shocked after seeing Oliver's eyes being pure red in color.
''Call others... Let's meet on the roof.'' He said and slowly left the classroom with his palms bleeding.
His friends woke up from their stupor and quickly messaged their friends.
Isaac stormed out of the school building and walked towards the bench. He sat down while feeling a slight chill coming from the cold air.
*Ring*
His phone vibrated, and it almost made his heart explode.
He shakily grabbed his phone and opened it.
[Amanda: Wanna meet up in the Temple of Confession at 11 A.M?]
Isaac dropped his phone and covered his face. His feet were soon covered in snow as the cold wind started blowing harder.
He wiped the teardrops that were about to be formed. He stood up and felt very tempted to simply run away from the school, but then memories of the meeting in the Black Arrow building were replaying in his mind.
He felt like if he ran away now, he would run away his entire life.
Isaac looked at the phone in the snow and grabbed it. He took a deep breath and started typing a message.
[Isaac: Sure]
He closed the phone and put it back in his pocket.
''Interface...'' He murmured and was soon relieved after seeing the familiar Interface popping up.
