Volume 2 Chapter 25: Heading To The Academy

"Can someone tell me what's going on here?" Keith stated as he stared at Sophia, May, and Fira.

The three were sitting on the ground while Keith had a tense expression.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Son." Sophia looked away, trying not to make eye contact with her son. But Keith got close to Sophia's face and brought the jar to their faces,

"Mind telling me how these cookies disappeared?!"

It was a large jar. It was supposed to be stuffed full of cookies.

But it was now empty!

He had no words. This amount was supposed to last a week. But this was gone in a day! And Keith knew who the culprits were.

Sophia, May, and Fira had a sweet tooth. Well, everyone in the estate enjoyed sweets. But these three were the worst. They couldn't stop eating them.

They would need one every hour!

That was why he called all three of them here.

What they did was too far.

"Dear, someone might have stolen them instead," Sophia stated. May nodded,

"Yeah! An animal might have entered the estate and stolen the cookies!" Fira nodded her head quickly as she said this. Keith frowned and stared at the three's faces,

"Then why do I see some crumbs on your faces?"

He could see it on Fira's face. It wasn't long since they finished it!

"Eh?" Fira quickly covered her mouth, trying to hide the crumbs.

"You guys can't hide it from me." May and Sophia were good at hiding. But he could see some crumbs.

"I guess I shouldn't make any cookies for some time." Keith shrugged as he took the jar. Before he could leave the room,

"Keith, don't do it!" "Young Master, No!" "We did it!"

Hearing Keith's words, the three didn't hesitate to reveal it. Keith couldn't help but shake his head,

"You guys shouldn't eat so many sweets."

"We work out a lot." "I help out in the estate!." "Spirits don't gain weight."

"..." What they said was true. Because they live in a cold climate, they need more food for their bodies. Sophia worked out using magic while May cleaned the estate. Fira, he didn't know about it.

"Keep it to a minimum next time." Keith left the room. But he could hear the girls screaming in relief. He shook his head as he entered the kitchen,

"Gus, you have to make more cookies."

"What?! Didn't I refill the jar two days ago?!" Gus dropped his knife. His expression said it all.

He was in disbelief.

"...They ate it all." When Keith revealed this, Gus dropped to the floor.

"Come on!" Gus roared out!

"There, there." Keith couldn't help but feel bad for him. The person who suffered the most from all this was Gus. That man was forced to make bread and sweets like a madman!

"Young Master, can you help me out." Gus stared at him.

But Keith waved his hand. "Sorry. But this isn't my problem."

"But you made all of this!" Gus wanted to cry, "I have to make it for the knights too!" It wasn't only for Sophia and the rest.

Gus also had to bake it for the knights too!

"Ahh, I will think of a way to fix it." Keith had a thought.

"Really?"

"Yes. But I need to think about it first." Keith stated.

"Please do something! I don't think I can take it!" Gus grabbed Keith's shoulders and shook him!

...

"What's going on, Father?" William called all of them to the dining room to talk about something.

"We'll be going to the academy."

"We are?!" Keith was excited.

"Mmhmm." William nodded, "We'll go to the royal capital first to meet with your grandparents. There, we can go to the academy afterward."

"Alright!" Keith raised his hand into the air with excitement.

"Pack whatever you need. We'll be leaving by tomorrow." Keith nodded his head. And like that, Keith got to work packing up. While Keith was packing up, Sophia entered his room,

"Keith, remember there's no need for you to have too many winter clothes."

"Understood, Mother!" Unlike their territory, the royal capital was warm.

It didn't take long for Keith to finish packing his clothes. But there was something else he had to do. He went to the kitchen,

"Gus, I'm going to be cooking something."

"What are you making? Boss?" Gus was excited. Keith stated, "I'm going to make something easy and delicious."

"Hmm?"

"Don't worry, you don't need to make it...I think." Keith had a strained expression.

"..." Gus had nothing to say.
