Volume 2 Chapter 93: A Child?!

"Alright! We have gotten the second shop ready!" Keith smiled as he smacked his hands together. He stared at the second shop. It was slightly different from the first one.

The bakery wasn't on the corner of the street. It wasn't larger than it either.

But it was more than enough.

"Are you all ready?" Keith questioned as he stared at the workers.

"We are, Boss!" Rory and the others shouted out loud! Rory's team was composed of five females and two males. They were all trained in the last few weeks. And it was time for the second White Forest Bakery to open! And what they saw was a long line outside.

"Let's go, everyone! White Forest Bakery's second shop is officially open!" Keith shouted out loud. And like that, it started!

"Thank goodness there's a second shop!"

"I don't need to wait so long now!"

"Yeah!"

Customers came in like no tomorrow! And it was great! Keith nodded as he watched all of this happen. He was naturally there to help the others in case there was a problem.

But there was nothing of the sort. The bakery ran smoothly. There was no need to jump in.

...

"Thank you for calling all of us here, Marquis Freed,"

"It's been some time since we're here,"

The nobles greeted William. William had called all the nobles in the northern region over here.

"Marquis Freed, your town has flourished by a mile now,"

"Indeed, when my carriage entered, I saw that the streets were all white and clean,"

"The garbage is gone now,"

"It's something I've never seen before,"

The nobles praised the streets to heaven and earth. But who could blame them? It was something they had never seen before. William chuckled, "Thank you. But that was not my doing,"

"Hmm? It wasn't the Marquis's plan?"

"Then who was it?"

"This will be explained later on. For now, please have some refreshments and bread," William stated,

"Bread?"

"Do you mean the ones from the bakery?! What was it called?"

"It's White Forest Bakery!"

"I heard the bread was to die for,"

"It's the same. Have a taste of it," And when the nobles saw the bread, their eyes sparkled,

"It's so delicious,"

"I heard it's cheap enough for commoners to buy it as well,"

"That's incredible,"

One noble asked, "But I also heard you have to wait in line to get the bread,"

"Indeed. My wife also waited in line to taste the bread." William added. That caused the nobles to blink,

"To not buckle down to the Marchioness?!"

"Who would dare?!"

The nobles were shocked. To have a noble wait in line? That was blasphemy.

That brat doesn't know who he's messing with?! Viscount Filems viciously smiled as he couldn't believe Keith would do something so foolish. He didn't just anger him. But he did that to the Marquis's wife as well. That was enough to end him!

William stated, "Naturally, we have to wait. Even the King and the Principal of the academy waited. So we have to do it as well,"

"The King and Principal waited as well?!" Everyone was surprised by his words! To make the King and Principal wait as well was shocking! That bakery wasn't normal at all!

Another noble questioned, "But Marquis, why is the bread hot?"

"Hmm?"

"It feels like it was cooked a few seconds ago." The noble looked down at the bread; there was steam coming off.

"It was baked a few seconds ago," William answered.

"What?!" Viscount Filems and the others were shocked.

"What do you mean, Marquis?"

"I meant I had the owner of the bakery bake it a few seconds before," William answered.

"Can we meet him?!" The nobles were excited about this.

"Sure!" William smiled, "Please call Keith in, Carter."

"Understood," Everyone was curious now. But they heard the footsteps come in. And they were shocked.

"A child?!"

"Wait a minute. Green eyes and black hair." Some nobles knew about Keith as they met them before. Others have never met him before.

"Why did you call me here, Father?"

"The nobles wanted to find out who's the owner of the bakery," William stated. Keith nodded,

"Hello, My name is Keith Freed, and I'm the owner of the White Forest Bakery,"

"Freed?"

"You guessed it. The one who owns the bakery and made all these recipes is my son." William gave a big smile as he stared at them. The nobles were shocked by his words.
