Volume 2 Chapter 92: Work Hard

"Guys, I'm planning to open another bakery," Keith declared. Ralph and the others were surprised by his words.

Ralph questioned, "Are we really opening another one?!"

They were all shocked by this. It had only been a few months since Keith opened this one! And now they were going to open another one! It was going a little too fast. But they were all excited about this,

"Mmhmm, I was planning to open it when I saw how many people lined up," Keith noticed the line. They were really long.

Because of this, some customers couldn't wait and walked away from there. That was why he had thoughts about opening a new bakery.

"That is why I need one of you guys to help me lead the second bakery," It would be best to have someone from the first to run the second shop.

Keith smiled as he turned to her, "Rory, I want you to be the one to lead the second shop,"

"Me?" Rory didn't expect her name to be called.

"Yes. You have been working as Ralph's right hand for so long. You have more than enough qualifications and experience to lead the second shop," Keith explained.

He watched how this group functioned.

Ralph was definitely not the person he could replace. He was the head of this group, managing the others. But there was someone else he had his eye on.

Rory was the one who worked behind Ralph's shadow. She's great with details and quick to learn.

"I-"

"Rory, the boss wouldn't ask anyone to do it unless he knew you had the capabilities," Ralph encouraged.

"Alright, I will take it! Thank you, Boss!" Rory bowed her head. Everyone clapped their hands in happiness for their friend.

"That being said. With the new shop, we'll be recruiting more people here and for the new shop," Keith smiled. Four for here and seven for the other.

"That would be great," Ralph pumped his hands. With more people, they could increase efficiency. That meant more bread.

"Great! Let's get to recruiting!" Keith stated!

...

"Have you heard! White Forest Bakery is looking for new hires!"

"That's incredible!"

"Look! They're planning to pay eight silver coins a day!"

"Holy! I want to do it!" Like that, people were going crazy! It was because eight silver coins were incredible. But not only that, they get to work in the bakery!

That alone was a great thing!

"I am so sorry!" Keith apologized to Ralph and the others.

"Boss, you have to put more requirements into it," Ralph stated as he held his head. Keith was bright.

But there were times when he was clueless.

"Yeah, you need to put requirements such as work experience and such," Ruth added. What they saw was a bunch of people in front of the bakery!

"We can say it right now," Keith walked to the front,

"Thank you everyone for coming here! But I never expected there to be so many people. What my bakery wants is to have people working in the field of cooking for at least two years! They have to have the ability to cook and cooperate with others!"

When that was said, a majority of the people left. But it was to be expected. A shop like this would need experienced people.

"Please line up, and we'll ask you some questions," Like that, they started to question the people. They also had some lie-detection orbs here to do it.

This whole situation took two hours! Keith and the rest sighed, "Thank you everyone. We'll let you know of the applicants we want to see,"

"Now our job is to sort them out," Keith stated as he started to look through the ones he thought to match about it.

...

While Keith and the rest focused on this, William was also making plans. Hugo was in his office. This was the first time they were meeting face to face. But the thought caused Hugo to shiver. That was because,

"I want to ask who hired you to attack my son?" William's expression was dark. He heard it from Michael because the blabbermouth couldn't hide it.

"Yes, we were hired by someone to attack your son. It seemed he was furious about something happening at the bakery," Hugo didn't lie and answered William's question.

"Does the person look like this?" Carter raised up a picture for him to see. Hugo nodded his head,

"That's the person who wanted us to take out the young master,"

"I see. Thank you very much,"

Hugo quickly bowed, "I wanted to say I'm sorry!"

"Hmm?"

"The young master did so much for us, and we tried to attack him," Hugo and the others who tried to attack him always felt guilty. Keith had been working hard to help them out.

But remembering what they did to him was something they could never forget. It was nerve-wracking.

William stared at Hugo, "As a lord, I can never forgive you for this." Even if he apologized, there was nothing he could say. Attacking a lord's son was asking for an execution.

"..." Hugo was silent.

"But as a father, I understand," Keith told him everything. Hugo's daughter was sick, and he wasn't the only one. The others were in a dire situation.

If he was in his position, then he might have taken the risk no matter what.

"If you still feel guilty about your situation, work hard, and don't let my son's efforts go to waste," William stated.

"Thank you, Sir!" Hugo nodded his head and left the estate.

William sighed, "Being a lord is difficult."

"Indeed. But the young master made your life comfortable." Carter chuckled.

"You're right," He would be lying if he didn't say that. Keith had made him healthier with the food and the new resting place.

"Now then, how should I deal with the Viscount?" There was no need to talk about it any longer. Since he decided to target Keith, that meant there was no need to hold back!

"Carter, did you find all the information?" William questioned.

"Indeed, I have found everything," William chuckled,

"Then we'll make our move," There was no point in holding back.
