"I got them all," Keith smiled. This is good. When Keith wore the new bracelets, he thought it would weigh him down. He thought for sure he was going to miss some of them.

He was content with this.

"..." No one said a thing. It was only a few seconds before someone questioned,

"Wasn't that mundane?"

"How could he be called the top student when he used such low-level magic?"

"I knew it. That first place is nothing more than a sham."

"Our princess should be in the first place!"

"Good job."

Keith nodded as he returned and sat down with Carolyn and the rest. They stared at Keith in wonder.

"What?"

"Keith, why didn't you blow up the targets?" Carolyn whispered into Keith's ears. She was shocked Keith didn't do that. She knew Keith's abilities. He had the ability to blow it up with a snap of a finger.

"Hmm?" Keith tilted his head.

"Yeah," Gabriel nodded,

"I know you can use high-level magic. So why didn't you use it?" Keith's skill set was much higher than what he showed.

"Why should I? The objective was only to hit the target." Even with the bracelets, Keith could use high-level magic. It would take a little longer. But he could do it. But,

"There's really no point in using so much mana," What everyone did was overkill. Why do you need to use so much mana on a few targets? It was a waste of mana.

"I'm not gung ho about using so much mana," Keith stated.

"..."

"Let's keep going!" Like that, more students were called up. And that was not the only test. There were other tests Keith and the rest had to do. It lasted for an entire hour.

"Here is the score for everyone," Shire remarked, and a screen floated behind him. It was split between every class. The top marks in S-class went to Alfia and Scarlet. The one who placed third was Carolyn.

"Yay! I got third place!" Carolyn was content.

Keith smiled, "Good job."

"But Keith, what about your score?" Keith's score was in the middle of S-class. It was better than most. But compared to how he was in the first place, it was glaring.

He should be at least in the top five!

"All of you shall be practicing your magic and mana barrier. You guys will use low-level magic," Shire instructed.

"Understood,"

"Good, split into pairs." Like that, they got to work.

Keith was paired up with Carolyn. But while they were practicing,

An elf walked up to Keith. Keith asked, "What's the matter?"

"How could you be this year's representative when your magic is this abysmal!"

"Hmm?" Keith tilted his head. That caused the elf's expression to turn even darker!

"I'm saying our princess should have been this year's representative!" The elf declared. This was the girl who was beside Alfia throughout everything,

"Oh, she could have it. I really don't care about being the representative."

"You!"

"If you have a problem with it, you can go talk to Professor Aidiun," Keith scratched his head. He didn't want the position. Actually, he didn't even know why he got it. Cadmus just shoved it on him without a thought!

"..." The elf's expression went an extra shade of red.

"Stop it, Faelyn," Alfia walked up to Faelyn.

"But princess!" Faelyn wanted to say more.

"Student Keith was chosen as this year's representative. There's nothing to be said about it." Alfia stated. But she looked up at Keith,

"But you have to hold that position tightly,"

"Why?" I don't want it. Keith shrugged his shoulders. He went back to practicing with his magic.

"What's with their deal?" Carolyn frowned. There was something wrong with them all.

"It doesn't matter. Now hit me with your magic," Keith smiled.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course. You're magic got nothing on me!" Keith stated. That caused Carolyn's expression to be dark, "You're asking for it!" She casted a giant fireball. She was ready to throw it at him!
