Carolyn raised her hand in the air, "Finally! It's over!" She was relieved that the day was over. She was having a tough time with everything.

"Mmhmm," Keith got up from the chair as he was going to walk out of the building. But before he could, "Where are you headed to?" Carolyn was curious.

"Oh, I was thinking about walking around the city and looking at what's there." There were a few things Keith needed for his island. I should find some tools to repair the mansion.

The mansion was in pretty bad shape.

"Sure, I'm coming with you!" Carolyn stated as she got up from her seat. She wanted to do the same thing. Keith nodded.

He turned to Gabriel, "Gabriel, you want to join us?"

"Sure, I have to look around the city more," They were only here for two days. If the three didn't look around, they would lose out on good stores.

"Let's go now," Keith smiled as he walked out of the classroom with them. It was time to explore the city!

It is said that the city was one of the best in the world. There was a variety of goods sold here.

And they weren't wrong. Keith was in awe of all the stores that were opened.

"What are you looking for first, Keith?" Carolyn questioned. They were following Keith's lead on this.

"I was thinking about looking for some vegetables to plant." One of his goals was to search for vegetables to use! He was going to find something new and try it out!

"What is that light in his eyes?" Gabriel noticed a strange glint in Keith's eyes. It was weird. He had never seen the guy so lively before.

Carolyn explained, "That's because this man is a foodie,"

"Wrong! I'm not a foodie! I like the excitement of using a new ingredient to its fullest!" One of the reasons why he came to this world was to use new ingredients! If he couldn't, what was the point in being isekaied?

"Still a foodie!" Carolyn smirked.

That caused Keith to pinch her cheeks, "I don't want to hear that from a little piggy like you!" How could you call me that when you eat just as much as me!

"Hey!"

"Now, let's go and search for seeds I can use!" Keith was excited. Like that, the three walked around. They looked at the shops that were there.

But as they continued to walk around for a few minutes,

"Guys, I noticed something strange is going on,"

"Now you noticed?" Carolyn sighed as she shook her head. Keith was talking about the signs saying no humans were allowed to buy here. There were also some who had signs that said it was three times the price for humans!

It wasn't only humans. There were also signs for dwarves, elves, and such. Anyone that wasn't the store owner's race was marked.

"Is the hostility between races really that bad?" Keith tilted his head. He really didn't think about it that much. Keith and Orin had always talked with one another so casually.

He didn't think much of it.

He never realized there was so much hostility that all the races had one another. It was a little too surprising.

"You-"

"Oh! Look at that!" Keith saw a shop selling vegetables. These vegetables looked so different from the ones in the northern region. He was going to take a closer look. But when he was about to pick it up,

"Hands off, Human!" Keith looked up to see it was an elf who was yelling at him,

"Hi, how much-" Before Keith could say a thing,

"I don't sell to people like you!" The elf roared out.

"Huh?"

"I don't want your human germs to ruin my shop!" The elf owner screamed out as he stated.

"..." Keith blinked his eyes. But he walked away without looking back. He turned to the two, "They're really hard to deal with,"

Gabriel and Carolyn nodded to that. It was that serious.

"You need to stop running around like that," Carolyn shook her head. How could you ask a question and run away like that?
