"That contract is the most dangerous and strongest of all of them," Sohma added. That caused Keith to tilt his head. 

Seeing his clueless expression, Sohma explained,  

"By linking yourself with your familiar's lifeforce, you strengthen one another. That was what you did with Diana. Once the contract was activated, your lifeforce and mana strengthened hers." 

"Wait, if it's that good, why didn't you guys use it on her?" Keith tilted his head. He was confused. Cadmus and Sohma clearly had more mana than him. They could easily activate the contract like that. 

Cadmus and Sohma scratched their heads, "Of course, we wanted to use that contract to save her. But it's impossible for us. The two of us would have died."

"Huh?"

Aidiun explained, "The life and death contract is so dangerous due to the initial process. If the familiar doesn't accept the contractor, the latter will die."

"..."

"You have to have an affinity with contracting with the familiar. Plus, the contract required an absurd amount of mana as well. Not having enough mana will kill you in the process."

"..." There are too many kill words. 

Cadmus continued, "That's why we couldn't do it. We didn't have an affinity with contracting spirits."

"People who have an affinity with contracting with spirits are rare," Sohma added. 

"I see," Keith nodded. 

Cadmus added, "And if I did try to do it, that woman would reject me instantly. She does not like me at all."

"Eh?"

"She's really arrogant and haughty."

"Indeed, don't forget about explosive," Sohma nodded. 

"..." Keith looked at the two. For them to say the same thing was a rare occurrence. And Aidiun was nodding his head as well! But as he was thinking about what happened, 

"How rude!"

"Hmm?" Keith looked around. 

"How can you talk about me behind my back?" Diana suddenly appeared right beside Keith, 

"Keith!" "Po!" "Ho!" And with her were Fira, Aria, and Mir. The three jumped onto his body. 

"Woah!" Keith hugged the three, "Why are you here, Mir?" This was a surprise. 

"Po!" Mir licked his face. 

"I see." I have to thank Miyuki later. Keith laughed. Miyuki had sent Mir over to watch over him. As he hugged them, Keith looked up at Diana, 

"Hello, Ms.Diana."

"Hello, Master," Diana bowed slightly to Keith. 

"Eh?"

"What's the matter?"

"Why are you calling me Master?"

"Do you not like it? How about King? Prince? You're my master now," Diana answered. They were in a contract. 

Keith waved his hand, "You don't need to call me master or anything like that. I don't like it."

"Then what do you want me to call you?"

"Call me Keith. You don't need to do anything else. It would be weird if you called me anything other than that,"

"Why?"

"That's because you're a beautiful woman. If you call me anything like that, it would look weird,"  

"Oh, thank you. But I do have one request," Diana asked. 

"Hmm?"

"Please call me Diana. You don't have to be formal with me,"

"Understood, Diana." Keith nodded, but he questioned, "But should you be out like this? Are you alright?"

"Yeah," Cadmus and Sohma looked at her in worry. 

"It's fine. When Keith brought me to the garden, the fresh air helped me out," Diana smiled.

"That's- wait, you know I was the one who brought you out?" Keith questioned.  

"Of course, I heard everything. You were so thoughtful, unlike a certain dragon, tiger, elf trio." A little sneer was in her voice as she stared at the three.

Cadmus and the two coughed, "How were we supposed to know you were awake? And we had to do something. If we let your magic run rampant, the island would be destroyed.

"Tsk, tsk. You could have sealed me in the coffin and placed me near a garden." Diana shook her head. 

But a small chuckle came soon after, "But I'm grateful you guys kept me alive." Even though she was peeved, Cadmus and Sohma did their best to keep her alive. 

"No problem," Cadmus smiled.

"What are friends for,"

"By the way, where are you going to stay?" Aidiun questioned. 

"Of course, I will be staying on Keith's island. Even though I'm awake, I still need time before I fully recover." Diana wasn't at her full strength. It was only a day since she regained movement. 

Diana turned to Keith, "Keith, I'm sorry to ask this of you. But can we keep the life and death contract active until I'm better?" The life and death contract was nourishing her body. 

"Sure, I don't mind." Keith smiled.

Diana smiled even brighter, "Thank you so much,"

"..." Cadmus and Sohma stared at her in wonder. 

"You should get some rest now," Diana turned to the small animals, "Keep him safe, you three."

"Understood!" "Po!" "Ho!" Like that, Diana pushed the rest out of the room. 

"What are you guys staring at?" Diana noticed the three's stare.

"When did you become so giddy?"

"Who are you?"

Diana looked at them strangely, "Do you want to die?"
