Chapter 1340: Spirit Beast Struggle

Li Luo's voice laced with killing intent reverberated throughout the area as many in the crowd had their eyebrows jumping in shock.

They felt that this scene was simply too unbelievable, to the point that it was hilarious. A Greater Heavenly Resonance dared to babble nonsense in front of a fifth-grade Duke?

That said, Zhao Xiuyuan didn't take another step forward, it was as though he seemed afraid to fight yet another opponent.

Originally, Zhao Xiuyuan's strength was more than capable of allowing him to deal with Li Foluo and Li Tingyue, two fourth-grade Dukes. However with the addition of Jiang Qing'e, it tipped the scales in his opponent's favor, leaving the matchup relatively even.

Now if Li Luo with third-grade Duke great spirit beast strength was added to the mix, he would have to temporarily avoid conflict. Otherwise he would have to pay a heavy price to kill one or two of them. Not only that, there were Others here and numerous other powers quietly watching from the sidelines. Qin Zhenlin knew what Zhao Xiuyuan was getting at. He wanted to drag them all down together and fight against the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li as a group.

However their opponent was two Guardian Generals and Jiang Qing'e. This was a tough nut to crack and it wouldn't be easy to deal with them.

"Guardian General, I feel that there is no need for us to join hands and fight. It's only to our benefit if both parties are injured." Qin Yi lightly suggested as Qin Zhenlin remained deep in thought.

"Also, this Li Luo is a little too heaven defying. I'm concerned he has more tricks concealed up his sleeves and we will suffer as well."

Qin Zhenlin glanced at her as he asked in surprise. "Do you think so highly of Li Luo?"

Qin Yi calmly replied, "I've seen him overcome the odds and create miracles time and time again. To date he's still alive and kicking, only becoming stronger and stronger each time."

Qin Zhenlin was shocked. This Li Luo was indeed a wildcard. When he first returned to the Dragon's Fang Lineage, no one had cared about him. However this country bumpkin had ascended to the point where he was seen as the number one figure in his generation. "keke. Maiden Yi doesn't have to worry. The way I see it, Li Luo isn't much stronger than you. His battle achievements are only due to his spirit beast and without it, he's not much better." Shen Yunge suddenly chimed in with a smile. Qin Yi looked back at him with her crystal clear eyes but did not reply. Shen Yunge then looked at Qin Zhenlin as he grinned. "Guardian General Zhenlin, before I entered the World End's River Treasure Domain, Hall Master Qin Lian had informed me that if I were to encounter Li Luo, I should give him a greeting on her behalf. Since you have some concerns, why not leave it up to me? You can relax. I'll simply balance out both parties such that both sides will lose out."

When Qin Zhenlin heard his words, a smile appeared in the depths of his eyes. In truth, he had hoped for this result.

Shen Yunge was not someone from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin so who would care if he took action?

Thus Qin Zhenlin nodded his head with a smile.

Shen Yunge then took a step forward.

His appearance had shaken up the stalemate as everyone's gazes fell upon him.

Shen Yunge then stared at Li Luo with a smirk. "What the members of the Imperial Beast Hall enjoy most is for a Spirit Beast Battle. I heard that you have a Duke stage spirit beast with you and I wonder how that matches up to my Gilded Scale Heavenly Python?"

He stretched his hand out and the dark gold bracelet on his wrist started to squirm. It turned out it was actually a small golden snake which was biting its tail, forming a loop. The snake opened its cold eyes and a moment later, its body began to expand. In just a few moments, it had transformed into a thousand feet long Gilded Scale Heavenly Python. Feral energy surged into the air which elicited shocked looks from everyone around.

When Zhao Xiuyuan saw this, he too was taken aback. He had already known that the people from the Imperial Beast Hall were present but what was out of his expectations was that they would be the first one to stand up and oppose Li Luo.

"As expected, the Imperial Beast Hall of the Mythical Spirit Divine Continent is truly impressive. Your methods of controlling spirit beasts are truly esoteric and unique." Zhao Xiuyuan praised. Shen Yunge's assistance alone was not that much and it seemed no one else would be stepping up. That said it would relieve some of the pressure on him.

Under Shen Yunge's urging, the Gilded Scale Heavenly Python immediately darted towards Li Luo with lightning quick speed, wreathed with overwhelming malevolent energy.

As the energy undulations roiled, the expressions of the other third-grade Dukes changed.

The Gilded Scale Heavenly Python was reflected in Li Luo's eyes as a cold look flickered. He looked down at the scarlet bracelet in his hand and it was at this point the Six-tailed Heavenly Wolf let out a furious howl.

Weng!

A moment later, boundless amounts of crimson energy burst out from the bracelet as the figure of a humongous beast shot outwards, directly clashing against the Gilded Scale Heavenly Python.

It was as though two meteorites were colliding.

Baleful energy exploded in every direction and the void shattered. The blood mist in the surroundings also scattered.

It was then when a Shen Yunge's expression changed.

A huge golden figure was sent flying miserably, crashing towards his location heavily.

It was his Gilded Scale Heavenly Python! Shen Yunge hurriedly stretched his hand out and mighty resonant power spilled out, attempting to receive the thousand foot long snake. The titanic impact caused his body to shake but he was able to block it in the end.

His hand was trembling as he looked at the Gilded Scale Heavenly Python's body. It seemed that even its scales had ripped apart and a deep claw mark could be seen gashed into its side. Fresh blood poured out continuously from it and the Gilded Scale Heavenly Python was letting out pained hisses.

The Gilded Scale Heavenly Python's injuries caused Shen Yunge's expression to turn gloomy. When he raised his head to look ahead, a giant beast was gradually appearing amidst the dissipating mist.

Shen Yunge's eyes shrunk.

This was a several thousand foot large wolf. It radiated a bone chilling and ferocious aura. Between its sharp fangs, saliva dripped and caused the ground to erode.

Meanwhile a faint golden light covered the wolf's claws, resembling scales which increased its sharpness.

What was most eye catching was the six tails that danced in the air.

As someone from the Imperial Beast Hall, he understood the numerous beast tribes. In fact, he probably knew the most about them amongst everyone here.

Thus he could instantly recognize this spirit beast.

It was a Heavenly Wolf that stood at the apex of the spirit beast races. Li Luo actually had a Heavenly Wolf as his spirit beast!

Furthermore it was a six tailed one! This meant that the Heavenly Wolf had quite a pure bloodline as well.

Furthermore the scales on its claws seemed to resemble that of a dragon's? This meant that this Heavenly Wolf had experienced a baptism of high grade dragon energy which had greatly improved its potential.

An avaricious look surfaced in his eyes. It was hard to find a lone Heavenly Wolf, and if he could capture it with the Beast Taming Incantation, he would experience a significant boost to his strength. It was wasted in Li Luo's hands. With that in mind, Shen Yunge no longer hesitated as he gave a shallow smile. "Guardian General Zhao Xiuyuan, if you can hold back Li Foluo and the rest of them, I'll help you deal with Li Luo. What do you think?"

Before hearing a reply, he waved his hand and dark emerald resonant power burst out of him, transforming into a dark emerald python. It blitzed towards Li Luo like a bolt of lightning.

When Zhao Xiuyuan saw this, he activated all of his Duke Bergfrieds without hesitation. Radiant light intertwined, forming a suppressive aura which pressed down on the other three.

Li Luo's eyes flickered with cold light when he saw this, but just as he was about to take action...

Weng!

Before his resonant power was even summoned, a rumble could be heard coming from the blood mist not far away. A beam of light pierced through the air, destroying the void as it passed and collided against the dark emerald python manifestation.

Bang!

A deafening boom sounded out and the python was smashed apart. A heavy steel staff fell from the sky, stabbing right into the ground. When Li Luo saw this familiar staff, his expression shifted slightly. He then turned his head as a group of familiar figures emerged from the blood mist, entering the crowd's view.

At the head was a male and a female.

Zhang Cuicheng and Lu Shuanglu had made their entrance.

The Golden Dragon Bank's people had entered this Other Dominion as well.

Before everyone's surprised eyes, Zhang Cuicheng stretched his hand out and the heavy steel staff flew back into his hand. His gaze swept across the group before lingering on Shen Yunge as he indifferently spoke. "It looks like you need my help Li Luo."
