Chapter 1341: Blood Lake Changes

The crowd quickly recognized this group as shocked whispers were heard.

"Those are the Golden Dragon Bank's people!"

"Why are they helping Li Luo? Aren't they supposed to be neutral?" The numerous squads from the different powers and the rogue cultivators were completely taken aback. The Golden Dragon Bank lived by the creed that harmony breeds wealth. They had rarely seen them clashing against other powers, much less step up for Li Luo.

Zhao Xiuyuan and Shen Yunge were forced to halt as they frowned at the group of newcomers. Their entrance had undoubtedly made the situation even more chaotic.

The Golden Dragon Bank may be known for being good at doing business but no one doubted their actual might.

"Is the Golden Dragon Bank planning to break their own rules?" Zhao Xiuyuan glumly spoke. Lu Shuanglu glared at Zhang Cuicheng as she unhappily spoke. "He's acting on his own. This has nothing to do with the Golden Dragon Bank so you can beat him to death if you wish."

Zhao Xiuyuan gloomily inspected Zhang Cuicheng. He already knew of the latter. This was Golden Dragon Mountain's Zhang Family's young genius. This man wielded considerable influence within Golden Dragon Mountain as a result.

Thus he clearly didn't believe a single word Lu Shuanglu was saying. If he actually killed Zhang Cuicheng, the Golden Dragon Bank would undoubtedly take action.

Zhang Cuicheng only had upper second-grade Duke strength and thus Zhao Xiuyuan couldn't be bothered with him. Instead, it was the middle aged man who stood beside Lu Shuanglu with a raging aura that worried him. That man's strength was no lesser than his.

Thus Lu Shuanglu and Zhang Cuicheng's appearance meant that he would no longer be able to deal with Li Luo's group.

That said he unwillingly retracted his five Duke Bergfrieds as his figure retreated back to the True Dragon Guardians.

When Shen Yunge saw this, a look of disappointment flickered in his eyes. Without the aid of Zhao Xiuyuan holding the rest down, there was no way he could wrest away control of the Six-tailed Heavenly Wolf from Li Luo. It seemed that he would have to meet up with the rest of the Imperial Beast Hall and the squads of the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin before trying again. Thus he waved his sleeve and the gigantic Gilded Scale Heavenly Python transformed into a beam of light which wrapped around his wrist, turning into a bracelet.

Li Foluo, Li Tingyue and the rest retracted their resonant power as they secretly heaved a breath of relief upon seeing that their opponents had ceased their assaults. Truthfully speaking, they weren't sure if they could resist the combined might of the True Dragon Guardians and Shen Yunge. Furthermore, Qin Zhenlin and the rest were like tigers stalking their prey. The moment they exposed a moment of weakness, he would definitely deliver a heavy handed blow.

Thus it was all thanks to the Golden Dragon Bank and their timely assistance.

Li Luo then waved his hand and allowed the manifested Six-tailed Heavenly Wolf to transform into a beam of crimson light, shooting back into the bracelet on his wrist.

His gaze lingered on Shen Yunge's figure for a moment. He had sensed the greed in his eyes which had been barely concealed. He obviously had set his sights on his Six-tailed Heavenly Wolf.

It was said that the Imperial Beast Hall could utilize a fusion Duke Art with spirit beasts. In truth he was fascinated with it as well. Perhaps he might be able to research a little more about it from Shen Yunge... However looking at how Shen Yunge was eyeing him maliciously, the odds probably weren't great.

His best chance lay with prying it from his cold corpse's pocket sphere. It wasn't impossible after all. The World End's River Treasure Domain was full of dangers and many geniuses from the divine continent had perished here. It was a normal occurrence. Li Luo's mind was filled with these unfriendly thoughts before he turned to walk towards Lu Shuanglu and Zhang Cuicheng. He respectfully greeted them with clasped hands. "Thank you."

Zhang Cuicheng hugged his steel staff as he woodenly replied. "As I said before, I owe Young Mistress Qing'er a favor. She beseeched me to help you and I would naturally not go back on my words."

Lu Shuanglu immediately broke into a tirade against him. "If you want to take action, at least don't do it as a Golden Dragon Bank's member! You've actually ruined our reputation!" Zhang Cuicheng shrugged. "It's not like I took action."

Lu Shuanglu was so infuriated she gave a cold smile. "Why don't you see if Zhao Xiuyuan would beat you to death without the Golden Dragon Bank's backing you?"

"Once I forge my Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfried as my third Duke Bergfried, we'll see who will beat who to death then!" Zhang Cuicheng slowly spoke. Lu Shuanglu was going crazy hearing his words. "We're already in a lot of trouble and you're still adding fuel to the flame here!"

It was then when Li Luo's side noticed that Lu Shuanglu's squad had thinned out. In fact, many of them were injured.

A thought came to mind. Did Lu Shuanglu experience an ambush of sorts?

However this wasn't a great topic to broach directly and Li Luo changed the topic. "Miss Lu, since we've happened to meet. How about we join hands to get some treasures? There are four high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures here and if we work together, getting one shouldn't be hard."

When Lu Shuanglu heard his words, her beautiful eyes turned towards the four blood crystal like corals that were growing in the center of the lake as she commented with surprise. "Four high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures? What a rich Other Dominion we have here."

She then nodded her head. "Since we are here, we naturally want a share of the pie."

Although their main goal was to facilitate trade, considering that such a treasure was in front of them, it was hard to let it go.

Thus the two groups gathered and approached the edge of the blood lake.

On the other side, Zhao Xiuyuan and Qin Zhenlin had formed a group, a direct contrast against Li Luo's group.

When the other squads and rogue cultivators saw this, they felt disappointment welling up in their hearts. It looked as though these four high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures would have nothing to do with them. The good thing was that there were other slightly inferior treasures within the lake.

Just as more gathered around the edges of the lake, the originally calm blood lake suddenly erupted with massive waves.

The waves tossed and turned and the alluring floating faces suddenly shot outwards like swimming fish with beguiling laughter, attempting to envelope everyone nearby.

Everyone immediately roused their resonant power in a hurry, attempting to launch an attack to stop this.

Very quickly they realized that what flew out of the waves was not only those charming visages of females but also Foundational Spirit Treasures!

Although the vast majority were low-grade, there were some middle-grade ones within them as well!

Everyone seemed to be filled with irrational exuberance! Treasures were being delivered to their doorsteps!

Numerous individuals began fighting to pick up the treasures and chaos ensued.

Even the people from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin and Zhao Xiuyuan's squad were not spared. They couldn't resist the urge to pounce upon those treasures, fighting happily to seize as many as they could grab.

"Is this a treasure delivering lake?" Lu Shuanglu was taken aback. In the previous Other Dominions, they had to seize the treasures themselves, going through a gauntlet of fights. Meanwhile in this location, treasures were being chucked at them like rubbish.

Lu Shuanglu's group couldn't help themselves either as some tried to intercept these flying goodies being sent their way.

However Li Luo frowned and restrained her. "I'd advise you not to touch those Foundational Spirit Treasures."

Lu Shuanglu, Zhang Cuicheng and the rest of the Golden Dragon Bank's experts looked suspiciously at Li Luo.

When he saw their questioning gazes, he calmly replied, "I suppose a fight started within your squad and infighting ensued?"

Lu Shuanglu's expression changed as she looked at Li Luo with a wavering gaze. She couldn't help but to blurt out. "How did you know?" In fact, just half a day ago, a disaster had befallen their squad. Their originally fine companions had suddenly been corrupted and berserkly attacked them. This was why their squad had suffered a crippling loss as some of the powerful Duke bodyguards had died.

Lu Shuanglu was completely ashen faced and dejected after that. They could not understand where the source of the corruption had come from. Meanwhile Li Luo, an outsider, had noticed what had happened, thus was completely shocked.

Li Luo shrugged his shoulders with a smile. "Perhaps its lucky that you met me."

"Do you mean you know why they were corrupted?" Lu Shuanglu hurriedly asked.

Li Luo's gaze fell upon the numerous Foundational Spirit Treasures flying out from the blood lake. His cool voice sounded out in the ears of everyone in Lu Shuanglu's squad. The explanation left them in complete disbelief.

"It's because you've gathered too many Foundational Spirit Treasures."
