She Belongs To The Devil

Chapter 672 Weak

Ariel gave a subtle smile to Kenneth and gave a nod. "Yes, I think we can call each other by our nicknames. We've known each other for years now."

Kenneth then said as a smirk danced on his lips. "But I think it's going to take us some time to get used to it."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"That it will," Ariel giggled.

And almost immediately after, she noticed that the ash-grey aura around her was spreading. It was getting a little intense.

Ariel could guess what might have ticked Damien off. So she scoffed to herself and changed the topic.

Ariel cleared her throat and then whispered to Kenneth, "By the way, your mother looks very lovely. And honestly speaking, your father, on the other hand, looks a bit scary."

Kenneth chuckled after hearing that remark from Ariel about his parents. He leaned a little to the side towards Ariel and he asked her, "If you were scared of my father, imagine how I must have felt when I met your father for the first time?"

Ariel knitted her brows and whispered, "Oh, come on! My father doesn't look intimidating, especially when he is receiving guests."

"That's because he is your father and you're accustomed to him." Kenneth took a quick glance at her and further said, "I tried not to show it but I was really scared when I saw him for the first time. He was giving off this dangerous aura. And I had felt as if one wrong move and I would turn into dust."

Ariel couldn't help but laugh at that comment from Kenneth.

Behind them, Niylah was looking down at the floor and shyly walking ahead. And Ramon, on the other hand, was grabbing Zach's arm so that he wouldn't run off somewhere and cause trouble for them. He hadn't tried to do that yet, but it was very much possible. So, Ramon wasn't taking any chances with Zach by leaving him alone.

After walking down the torch-lit corridor for a while, they all arrived at an open circular area from where several doors could be seen.

That circular area was also turned into some sort of living room. There were sofas and tables in the middle of that room. And it looked like a nice place to gather and chat before going to bed.

Kenneth then turned to face his guests and then informed them, "These are our guest rooms. My room is on the other side. However, I have decided to use one of the rooms here so that none of you will feel lost when you need something or actually get lost."

"That's great!" Zach pinched Ramon's hand and when Ramon left his arm, he jumped forward and asked Kenneth, "So, which one of these will be my room?"

Kenneth pointed at one of the rooms and said, "Why don't you take that one? It faces the town."

"Okay," Zach immediately dashed to open the door while shouting, "Please send my servant and my belongings inside. I need to look dashing for the dinner with your parents."

Everyone sighed and shook their heads while looking at that unruly kid.

Kenneth then assigned each room to the rest of his guests as well. While he did that, he made sure that the view from their windows would be to their liking.

Niylah's room faced the forest, Ramon's room faced the town as well as the forest, and Ariel's room had a nice view of the castle as well as the river and the vast land that was behind the cliff.

Kenneth simply took one of the empty rooms that was right opposite to Ariel's room.

Before going in to take a nice bath, Kenneth first ordered his servants to escort the Princes and Princesses' servants and maids and also bring in their luggage.

And within ten minutes, the servants completed the task assigned by their Crown Prince.

After making sure that his guests had access to everything that they needed, he also entered his temporary room to get ready for dinner.

After about twenty minutes, Ariel was already out of her room.

She had finished taking a bath at a super speed so that Damien could use the bathroom after her.

And as soon as Osanna finished helping her dress and groom, Ariel walked out of the room together with Osanna and instructed her, "You should also freshen up and change into a fresh gown. Maybe take some rest if there is spare time."

Osanna was glad to hear that from Ariel because she was in dire need of rest.

However, she still asked to make sure that the Princess had her needs covered, "I will do that. But first, tell me if you would like me to do anything. Or I can stay here with you until your cousins come out."

However, Ariel shook her head and replied, "No, you don't need to wait. You should also rest. You already look pale. I will be fine on my own."

Osanna gave a gentle bow to Ariel and then headed towards her assigned room that she shared with Niylah's maid.

When Osanna was out of her sight, Ariel quickly dashed back inside her room, put on the spell, and then asked as she stood by the bathroom's door, "Damien? Are you doing fine?"

Damien then replied from within the bathroom, "Yes. Don't worry. Although I feel a little sleepy. So I think I will take a nap rather than go to the dining hall. I will only get in the way if I go to crowded places."

"Sure, that's completely fine. You don't need to follow me everywhere. I already know that you won't run away, so…" Ariel was a little worried though. "But are you sure you are okay? You looked weak yesterday and the day before after using the spell all day long. Shall I pass on my energy to you before I go to have dinner?"

Right at that time, there was a knock on Ariel's door. It was Zach. "Ary, how long are you going to take? We all are waiting for you."

Damien also heard that. So he refused, "It will take some time for me to finish bathing. So why don't you pass the energy to me after you come back from dinner? Or maybe I will find someone giving off the aura that I need if I roam around for a while. Anyway, don't mind me. Enjoy your dinner."

Ariel didn't like the way he sounded. She could tell from his voice that he was weak.

However, Zach was constantly banging on the door and calling her since she hadn't answered him. So, even though she didn't want to leave without healing Damien, she didn't have enough time on her hand. It would be rude to keep Kenneth's parents waiting.

So she had to reluctantly agree. "Damien, I suggest that you don't roam around. What if you collapse somewhere? Just take a nap on the bed. I will try to come back as soon as I can."

"There's no need to rush, Ary. Take your time," Damien answered.

Ariel took a deep breath in and then said, "Alright. I'm heading out now."

She then lifted the spell and walked towards the door while shouting at Zach, "Zach, I heard you the first time! Stop banging on the door. You're going to break it!"
