The Wife of Hades

Her eyes widened when a face suddenly blocked her view and then a strong force pressed against her lips.

"Mm!" An Luxia exclaimed, her brain taking some time to process what had happened. 

"Ah!" She suddenly felt a pain as Mo Han bit her lips, making her scrunch her nose up in pain and confusion, "Mo -"

The crowd below them immediately blew up, gasps and screams filling the room. Even the principal next to them was surprised as this had never happened before, and as an old woman with no partner, she couldn't help but blush from the sight.

Soon, the crowd blew up into applause as they watched the romantic scene in front of their eyes that seemed to jump out of a movie.

After a long rest of the night, An Luxia and Mo Han finally returned home. On the way up the mountain, An Luxia fell asleep in the cool and comfortable atmosphere of the car.

Mo Han carefully carried An Luxia into the house and set her on the bed, taking off her shoes and helping her change into her pajamas before covering her up with the thick blanket.

The temperature was dropping rapidly as the winter came, and An Luxia quickly snuggled up in the comfort of the bed.

After a while, Mo Han also joined her on the bed, closing the lights and kissing her good night.

After a happy weekend together, An Luxia returned to school to see the one person she did not want to see in her first class.

A group of people crowded around Li Yilan, all with the same question.

"Yilan, is the young master of the Qi family really your boyfriend?! How did you two meet?"

An Luxia rolled her eyes as she walked down the stairs, refusing to acknowledge Li Yilan as she sat down next to Yu Xinyi.

Yu Xinyi looked at her and then turned around to glare at Li Yilan, "Luxia, is your dumb sister really dating the young master of the Qi family?"

"No," An Luxia replied simply, taking a sip of water.

Yu Xinyi scoffed, rolling her eyes as if she had expected that answer, "I knew it! Even if she was dating him, look how ugly that dude is. Mr. Mo looks so much better!"

An Luxia grinned, opening her backpack with a smile, "That is right!"

Yu Xinyi played around with the pen in her hand, knitting her eyebrows together, "But what does Mr. Mo even do as the. . . you know what? Does he do work?"

An Luxia shrugged, frowning slightly, "I'm not sure. . . He doesn't seem to have much work."

On the car ride home, An Luxia suddenly remembered that question and turned to look at Mo Han, "Hanhan, you say you are the leader of the HLX, but what do you even do?"

Mo Han raised one eyebrow, tilting his head slightly to look at her, "What do I do? Hm. . . I am just the boss. I make the decisions."

An Luxia waited for more, but after several seconds, it was evident that none was coming, "That's it?"

Mo Han nodded, "Yeah, I don't do much. The money goes to me."

He said that lightly, shrugging as if it was more than natural. Of course, he left out the part that when there were action plans, he would obviously take part in the front line himself.

An Luxia pursed her lips out, slouching down into the car seat, "Ah, I wish I could do that."

Mo Han looked over at his wife, who seemed like she wanted to become one with the car seat and chuckled, reaching his hand over to pat her on the head, "You don't have to be envious, because everything I have is also yours. You don't have to do. . . anything."

An Luxia's eyes glanced up at Mo Han, blinking her eyes a few times before a large smile appeared on her face and she straightened up her back, "My Hanhan is the best!!"

The rest of the car ride home, An Luxia was quiet because she had thought of an idea that was very exciting. Once the car came to a stop in front of the house, An Luxia jumped off, forgetting about her bag and ran into the house.

Mo Han looked at her confusedly and grabbed her bag for her before entering the house after the rushed figure. 

An Luxia went straight for the work room, where her laptop was resting on the table. She opened it up, creating a new blank document. The story she was writing was ending soon, and it did not receive much recognition all the way till the end.

With no new ideas in mind, she had originally planned to stop writing as school was also getting quite busy. However, now she could not stop writing, for she had a new book idea!

"The Underworld King's Beloved Wife"

Without even having one chapter written yet, An Luxia created the story on the platform in which she wrote on, and yes, you guessed it, this story was going to be about her and Mo Han.

Just in the car, An Luxia had thought that Mo Han would make a great male lead for a romance story, so here she was, ignoring Mo Han's calls for dinner to finish writing her first chapter.

"What are you doing? Come eat dinner?"

An Luxia clicked publish and immediately closed her laptop, blinking her large round eyes up at him innocently, "Nothing! Let's go eat."

The next day at school, An Luxia had the script reading class with Li Yilan first thing in the afternoon, which was also the only class she had that day.

"Wow! I heard of that director!" An Luxia immediately heard when she stepped into the room. She furrowed her eyebrows together when she saw a crowd of people gathered around Li Yilan again. Were they still not over what had happened at the winter dance party?

However, it did not seem like they were talking about the winter dance.

"How did you get it?"

Li Yilan twisted her hair in her fingers, her chin held up high, "I auditioned and the director picked me once I finished my audition. He must have liked me a lot."

"Wow!!" The crowd around her immediately exploded into gasps and admiration as they started murmuring amongst themselves, making Li Yilan more happy.

As An Luxia walked down the steps to her seat, Li Yilan turned around and looked at her, not afraid to raise her eyebrow at An Luxia, who rolled her eyes in return.

An Luxia dropped her bag down next to Yu Xinyi, who seemed quite unhappy, "What is happening?"

Yu Xinyi rolled her eyes and lowered her voice, "Apparently, your ugly sister got herself the second female lead role in this drama that is coming out under XX Entertainment. I don't know exactly how she got that role, but she is saying that the director handpicked her. Ch! Does anyone even believe that?!"

An Luxia looked at the group of people around Li Yilan, "It looks like everyone does."

Yu Xinyi seemed to get even more unhappy as she grudgingly pulled out her notebook, slamming it onto the desk loudly so several people turned around and looked at her weirdly.

An Luxia looked at her best friend and chuckled, "Why are you so mad? We both know that she probably got it from shameless reasons. It's nothing to be proud of."

And An Luxia was right. Yu Xinyi had indeed gotten the role from shameless reasons she could not say to other people. She had slept with the CEO of the company investing in the film and got him to give the role to her.

Since she was in the acting major, it was natural for her to get herself acting opportunities when she had the chance. And for her, she had "many" chances.

Yu Xinyi frowned and nodded her head as the professor walked into the classroom.

At home, An Luxia finally finished up her homework and pulled up the document to continue writing. As expected, this new book also did not receive a lot of attention although it was still only the first chapter, but she did not care much.

She would just write this for fun.

As she continued to write, she soon fell asleep because it was getting late and the room was quiet as Mo Han did his own work at his desk.

An hour later, Mo Han noticed that she had fallen asleep, and he closed his computer, walking over. An Luxia's laptop screen had turned dark, and Mo Han took the laptop off of her and onto the table. As he did so, the screen lit up and showed the unfinished chapter An Luxia was writing.

His eyes quickly scanned through the screen and he was just about to close the computer again when his eyes fell on a few words.
