Volume 3 Chapter 44: To The Office

"Why?" Keith tilted his head. The two gave him the "Are you kidding me?!" look.

Keith explained, "I know there was a large war between every race. But that was a long time ago," He read it in a book.

There was a large war that took many lives from each race.

"That's true. But the grudge is still there," Carolyn sighed. That was something that would not change. Even after many years, the tension had never dropped.

"I see," Keith sighed when he heard that. But Gabriel added, "At least it should be better now,"

"Who knows," Carolyn shrugged.

...

"Today will be a half day. Go out and have some fun," Aidiun finished the class with that. The students should go out and look around at where they were staying for the next few years.

"Keith, Gabriel, do you guys want to meet with my elder brother? He will show us around," Carolyn asked.

"Sure." "That's great. We get a tour guide." Like that, the two followed after Carolyn.

Before the three left, Aidiun turned to Keith, "Keith, the principal needs to speak with you. Please come to the office when you have time,"

"Understood," Keith nodded. The three walked over to where Carolyn's brother was.

"Tristan!" Carolyn called out to the handsome man there. He smiled,

"Carolyn! Congratulations on getting tenth place!"

"Thank you!" Carolyn smiled brightly. Tristan turned to the two, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Gabriel Eginhard."

"Greetings to the eighth prince," Gabriel bowed his head.

Tristan waved his hand, "There's no need to bow. In the academy, we are all equal." Gabriel stopped. Tristan turned his eyes to Keith,

"Keith, it's been some time,"

"Yes, it has, Tristan." Keith nodded. The two talked for some time when he went to the castle.

"Your introduction was incredible!" Tristan chuckled. That caused Keith's expression to darken. Do you have to say it like that? The thought alone was enough to cause his heart to burn.

"You understand every student is talking about it, right?" There was no way they weren't. That was because of how explosive Cadmus's statements were.

"...Ugh," Keith looked defeated as he stared at the sky. With what he said, there was no way others wouldn't know about it.

It was too annoying.

"Anyways, I should show you around the academy," Tristan smiled. Like that, Tristan started to show them around the academy.

The only thought going through the two's minds was the academy was large!

"What is this?" Keith saw there was a large stadium.

"Ah, this is a gym."

"This is a gym?!" Keith blinked a few times when he heard that. It looked like a battle zone!

"You guys will use this place to practice your magic and martial arts," Tristan stated.

"That's cool." Tristan continued to show them everything there was.

"The library is enormous," Keith stared in marvel at the large selection of books in the library.

"We have almost every book you can imagine here," Tristan stated.

"By the way, do you guys want to join our island?" Tristan mentioned.

"Brother," Carolyn had a dark expression when he asked this.

"What? There are two great talents here. Who wouldn't ask them to join?" Keith was ranked first in the year, while Gabriel was eight. That was incredible.

"I'm good," "I'll think about it," Keith denied while Gabriel gave a stalling answer.

"I see. We'll welcome you if you ever want to join!" Tristan said with a smile. After showing Keith and Gabriel a few more sites, the two separated from Tristan and Carolyn.

"Gabriel, where are you headed to?"

"I'm going to look at more sites around here,"

"Alright, I will see you tomorrow," Keith had to go to the office. And like that, he walked to the principal office.

He asked the front desk, "I'm Keith Freed. I'm here to talk with the principal,"

"Ahh, please head to the principal's office," Keith nodded as he entered the office. There, he saw Cadmus being chewed out by Sohma. It was quite the sight. Aidiun was inside as well.

"Professor Aidiun, how long has this been going on?"

"For quite some time." Aidiun grabbed his head.

"I see," Keith decided to not stop this scolding. After the trouble Cadmus caused, he needed one.

He asked, "Professor, can you explain some things to me,"

"Oh, sure. What do you need help on?"

"I have some trouble with this," Aidiun looked at his notes and was surprised by how great Keith wrote.

"You wrote everything I said?"

"Mmhmm," Keith nodded, "It was easy to copy down. In this section," Like that, Keith explained his problem. And Aidiun explained it to him.

"Thank you, this is simpler now," Keith smiled.

"No problem. But we should put a stop to this," Cadmus looked dead. And Sohma didn't seem like stopping any time soon.
