Volume 4: Chapter 55: We Must Not Let Him Get It!

"I bet he's having something delicious with Keith right now!" Jack wailed as he grabbed his head! The others could imagine it as well. Keith was cooking for himself and Gabriel. And the food was bound to be delicious.

That was more than enough to make them drool.

"Let's not talk about those two!" Sarah clapped her hands. Just thinking about it was enough to make them hungry again. The others nodded to that.

"Should we continue with our formation?" The formation of their team was relatively straightforward. Jack was the tank of the group. Sarah was the healer, Arlo the sub-damage dealer, and Carolyn was the mage.

The team was really balanced. Jack was up in the front, aggroing the monsters while the rest did their own thing.

"I think we can keep our positions as is. If we change it, we might mix up our commands." Jack thought about it. They were going at a good pace. Adding more into the formation would complicate things.

"Understood."

"Now, let's clear this floor!"

"Yeah!"

"Team, "We can beat Keith," let's go!" That was the team name! It was to defeat Keith.

...

"Achoo!" Keith sneezed.

"Did you catch a cold?" Gabriel tilted his head.

"No." Keith shook. But he looked at the ceiling. Is someone talking about me? That was the feeling he got.

"Anyways! Hunt more!" Keith waved his sword, wanting to cut down all monsters in his way.

...

"We did it! We defeated the monsters!" One of the elves stated with a hint of pride. They were probably the only group who arrived here.

"To the floor boss!" The elves declared. They noticed it. The gates to the next floor were much larger than the previous ones. It was a darker shade as well, making it eye-catching.

"We can beat it before everyone!" But the thought was soon destroyed. That was due to,

"To think the elves have gotten here before us!"

A dark look appeared at Alfia's party. Who was the one who said this?! The elves looked around to see it was Scarlet's party. They were not the first group here.

"It's the cunning demon-kin."

"What was that?!" The elves and the demon kin glared at one another. No need to explain what their looks were saying. They were going to kill each other.

"It's been a while, Alfia." "Hello, Scarlet."

The two leaders greeted one another.

"The test never said we couldn't take out another group." One person muttered. The two groups raised their weapons. Their eyes were bloodshot as they were ready to fight.

"What is this? To think two races are going to fight like this?" Another group arrived. It was Chelan and the merfolk. And they were not the only ones.

One by one, all of the students started to arrive here.

...

"Is this going to be a fight between everyone?!" Cadmus was interested. Was this going to decide who was the strongest?

"Whoever fights in this battle, dock points from them." Aidiun frowned. It was a foolish decision to fight one another. Fighting would deplete their stamina. It was not a good idea when they were in front of the boss room.

"Relax, it's not like all of them are riled up." Cadmus could tell the students from S-class weren't riled up.

...

"Everyone, cool your heads down." Scarlet roared. And Alfia glanced at the elves, telling them to be quiet.

"I think we all want one thing. Fighting isn't the best option." Chelan stated. They all looked at the large door that was there. The boss room. It was nothing compared to the others. And that was because there were treasures.

"It should be us who will go first!" An elf from Alfia's party stated.

"What?! How dare you steal the march on us?!"

"Everyone, let's calm down." Carolyn arrived now. Anything could spark a war with all of them.

"Does the princess want to fight as well?" A sneer came from the crowd.

Carolyn shook her head, "I don't really care. But should we really fight and waste our strength on something like this?" She had to bring it up.

That calmed everyone down. What she said made sense. If they fight now, that would just deplete their strength.

"And don't forget about the representative." One person muttered. That added to the silence.

"We can't let him come here!"

"We must clear it first!" Everyone screamed out in unison!

"..." Carolyn's group didn't know what to say. Even when they were not here, Keith and Gabriel became public enemy number one!

Well, it was only Keith.
